HP TOOLS needs to be reconnected cut off accidently

My backup and storage disk was disconnected thru some volume thing,On HP TOOLS I need to reconnect it fix it or something, Storage for backup is in the red. Im a new computer user PLEASE HELP ME 3 weeks ago this happened

- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
- Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS. This is Google DNS. You can choose another external DNS if you wish.
- Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

A tool for marking tracks to cut off pieces at once?

It is hard to describe for me with text, so I made a video when I'm showing in PrP what I mean.
But, basically I need to shorten my time spent in Premiere Pro with editing. I need something to mark few tracks, for example 1 second on each track, and cut it off. But not on all the tracks. See the video. Thanks.

Uh oh. I think I found a bug while trying out Jim's suggestion #2.
I put two HDV (Cineform) video clips (with audio) on tracks one and two. Then I put some music on audio tracks three and four.
I selected just the video and the associated audio tracks. So far so good. I then marked an in and an out point and used the semi-colon " ; " to lift. Much to my surprise, it did not lift the video on track two, but did lift the audio on track three which was not selected. If I lock the mucic track, then it does not get lifted. Unfortunately, neither does the video on track two. In all cases track one works correctly.
Before I put in a bug report, can someone please duplicate the problem and report back?
I just tried it with DV in a brand new project with a brand new sequence and it only lifts from track one. Very odd. I have tried several ways to select all of the tracks including holding shift while using the track select key and using Ctrl-a to select it all.

I am paying for CC but when I try to access LR it says I need to use serial number which I don't have have been using PS on same account for a while. Tried adobe support but got cut off. While online with them they said I didn't need serial number

I paid for CC and have been using PS. However, I can't get to LR. It says I need a serial Number. I contacted Adobe and they said that is not the case. Then I got cut off. Any fix?

If you paid for CC-full-suite or CC-Photography-Plan then you should have a CC-licensed version of LR available, but only if you uninstall the serial-number-licensed LR you apparently have, now. At least try that, uninstall LR 5, log out of the CC app using Gear / Preferences / Account / Sign-Out, reboot, log back into the CC app, and see if LR is one of the items listed.

Plug-In icon cut off under Tools/Plug-In

Using Reader X or Acrobat X my plug-in is cut off if I've left Tools/Plug-Ins expanded where I can see my icons and then leave Reader/Acrobat (exit/ X) and open another document (links from our page). If I shrink Plug-ins down before leaving, this does not happen.
Anybody else run into this and is there a solution? I've tried every Preference I can find and it doesn't change that behavior.

I can help you with that, however I am not quite sure what program you are using that has your snipping tool. If you let me know what program you are using I can make sure we get you pointed in the right direction to resolve this.

Right, so to advise you we'd need to know the particulars of MagCloud's spec for your project; format, trim size, bleed, etc.
It's doubtful that anything happened "when uploading for printing," so long as you were uploading a PDF, as opposed to the native InDesign file. Did the PDF look right to you before uploading?

I have solved the problem by changing the Project Aspect to 4:3 rather than wide screen.

BUG: Premiere CC Curve Tool cuts off luma at 100% ?

The Color Curve Tool from Premiere CC cuts off luminance to 100% video level. That is a problem if the input videos have so-called "super-whites" in it.
This would include for example the Canon C100, C300, C500 because the video levels from this cameras defaults to more then 100% video-level.
The Curve Tool was definetly not clipping at 100% in Premiere CS6!
Please consider this as a bug that has to be fixed soon, because it changes colors all older projects which includes material from this popular cameras.
BTW - Speedgrade CC (also previous versions) also did not handle Super-Whites correctly and clips it even at import! This does not seemed to be fixed in SG CC.

1) Make sure that your project is in the same aspect ratio as your camera. If your camera shoots 16:9. make a 16:9 project.
2) Check the clip inspector for the clip in your project to see if Image Stabilization is turned on. Stabilization works by zooming in, so you may want to turn it off.

Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player? If it does then it is an iTunes issue. If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

Video Cut Off At Edges... Need Formatting???

You know how a regular DVD says that it's been formatted to fit your screen when you first play it? I want to know how to get my iTunes videos to do the same thing. Even as a full-screen movie (as opposed to a wide-screen version) the edges are cut off like the edge of the screen is covered by cloth. Is there a way to fix this so that I can actually enjoy my purchases??? Please help!

If it's a driver issue, then unfortunately I have to use Dell's latest driver for my laptop's card, which I have, but Dell hasn't put out a new driver for my system in well over a year.
On the browser side, I only have IE9 installed, and while I can try installing Chrome or whatever, I thought maybe there may have been a quick setting, .ini file, etc., for I could edit, before going in that direction...
I'll post if Chrome has the same issue, but I'm going out drinking tonight first... (priorities )

The title I'm trying to create using text tool is cutting off right side

I've looked at all the settings and can find no reason for this.
While I'm still a bit of a novice, I have done titles before and never had this problem.
An additional green box shows up in my canvas, showing me exactly where this it cutting off. I don't know what this is. Is there a way to readjust this?
Under the Motion tab in my Viewer, the Center is set to -55 and -100, because this is where I want the text positioned. It is also aligned left under the Control tab. I can see where, if I were to align center, it would all fit, but then the text isn't appearing where I want it to.
Can anyone help?

Well, now I'm feeling even more stupid.
I cannot find the generator button you describe, even after consulting the help manual.
I THINK I know which one it is - the button in the lower right corner of the viewer - the same one that has Text, Crawl, etc....?
But it's not there.
I'm using FCP HD. is that the problem?
Also, Boris is familiar to me - I think I've used it or seen it in the past - but I can't find it. I'm wondering if I'd seen it previously while using Final Cut Express, but somehow, since upgrading to Pro, I don't see it any more.
If you can clarify any of this, i would be vrey grateful.

Ipod will turn on but cut off saying it needs to charge

2nd generation Itouch. When plugged in will power on to charge and after a minute or two will show load screen then cut off. Repeats that whole process again! What can I do to fix it?

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

BT cutting off service without warning - plus if y...

On 18th December 2014, I rang BT to cancel my broadband service since I had found a far better deal with Hyperoptic. I was told that I had to give a month’s notice and would have to pay £30 for an engineer to come out and cut it off. Since this was the only option available I agreed, and arranged that my new broadband supplier would connect me before I was cut off by BT on the 18th January 2015.
On 1st January 2015, a day when it was impossible to do anything about the situation because it was a public holiday, my BT Broadband service was cut off without any warning. At first, BT told me I had never had Broadband with BT. When I disputed this I was told that my BT Broadband had been scheduled for cancellation on 1st January 2015. I asked, repeatedly, to speak to the call operative’s manager, and I was told, several times, that she was too busy. It was only when I lost my temper (which I do not like to do) that she miraculously became available. I felt I was pushed to this point, not by the call operative himself, but by the protocols he was clearly following. I was then informed that I had been told, via email, that my BT Broadband service was scheduled for cancellation on 1st January and, when I insisted I had received no such email; I was told that it had been sent to an email address to which I have had no access to for two years.
I updated my contact details, long ago, via ‘My BT’. I can provide screengrabs demonstrating the contact details I provided, the email address to which my eBilling has long been sent, and the lack of any instruction that I was to be cut off on 1st January.
It shows that I had paid three months in advance on 17th November (£105.42) so there was no reason for my BT Broadband to be cut off on 1st January. I have had no refund of any monies whatsoever.
The manager promised to listen to the phone call I made on 18th December and to call me back. She later stated that she was unable to listen to the call and so arranged to call me again the next day.
Surely, however, call operatives are told what to tell customers who arrange cancellation? Why, for instance, would I make up a story about being told I had to pay £30 for an engineer to cut me off? On 2nd January, while waiting for BT to call back, I contacted Hyperoptic who were amazing and installed my new service on 5th January.
When the BT manager finally called to say she would transfer me to customer services so I could be reconnected, I was told this process would take two to three days to perform. As a freelance writer, my income depends on access to the internet, and I do not keep regular office hours – working to deadlines through nights and weekends. I asked explained this. It would have been helpful to have been given a code with BTWifi-withFON, for instance, to tide me over until the Monday. The call operative said, ‘I do understand where your frustrations lie’, put me on hold and then, after about 10 minutes, the line went dead.
I sent this complaint to the Customer Service Manager, at BT Customer Correspondence Centre
Providence Row, Durham, DH98 1BT, the letter was dated 5th January 2015. I have had no response, no refund and, to add insult to injury, was sent another bill – for £10, which after another angry phone call, was rescinded.
I find it incredible that BT treats its customers in this way. Cutting them off without warning, ignoring their complaints and offering no refund. I don't understand why - when I paid three months up front on the 17th November 2014 - I have had no monies returned to me subsequent to being cut off on 1st January 2015.
