I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Which LCD cable for Lenovo IdeaPad S12 (Series: 2959)

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S12 for three years now... and I am generally really happy with it
Since a few weeks, however, my display is not working properly anymore. Depending on the angle, certain colors change their appearance (white colours flicker blue-ish and dark colors show red-ish flickers). I have already stopped by a Laptop repair shop and the guy said that I need a new LCD cable and the hardware should be ok.
Does anybody know which exact cable I need? I have found three different cables on offer:
50.4CI11.001
50.4CI11.002
50.4CI12.001
Is it possible to say only with my series number (2959) which of the three I need?

PowerBook - Powerbook 17 LCD, Inverter and Video LCD Cable

I have the following issue:
My Video LCD Cable is broken (Some of the little cables inside are broken) and i need to replace it. But i'm not sure if the Inverter is also broken. Is there a way to know that so i can buy both of them or only the LCD Cable?
If i only connect the inverter to the LCD, should there be a blank white screen at least?
How do i know I only need to buy those two parts (Inverter and LCD Cable) and it's not also my video card in the logic board that got burned? Can the Video card in the logic board get burned or broken?
When i turn on the computer, i get no video at all, no blank white screen or anything. I know it boots and loads the OS since i get some sounds at boot.

Well that changed with the iMac G5. Here's a quote from this Apple document...

The connected device can be either a 10Base-T or a 100Base-TX device; the port automatically detects which type of device is connected. You don't have to use an Ethernet crossover cable to connect to other Ethernet devices.

I'm guessing that up to the iMac G4s you had to use a crossover cable. I just tried a crossover from my G4 tower to a Window's XP box and it worked just fine.

My ipod is broken. The home button doesn't work, so I took it to a tech shop and they also said that the LCD cable was broken and my screen is cracked. Will apple fix my ipod or just replace it?

I would like to know if apple will replace it. If not, then I will take somewhere cheaper but it has some scratches so I would like to get a new one.

My laptop is the Toshiba Equium U400/146 model number PSU42E-00400SKS. Its out off warranty so i took it it to
my local repare shop but they could not get the part. The problem with the lcd screen is that it boots up Green
i can still use the programs the greys and whites show through.
When connected to a crt monitor the laptop is fine. Back to the cable The screen number is NI3311-LOL REC.C1
If some one could point me in the right direction for this part i would be most gratefull

Video LCD cable # are different online then on my cable??????

I have been looking for a Video LCD cable for my laptop. I’ve been to 100 sites to find the right cable. It says on my cable part # DC025056200. It seems no one has that part. However when I looked up the cable online with my laptop Model # A35-S159 I find several cables. However the product # is different. The cable looks the same but that does not mean it is.
I found this online and want to know if I can use this cable in my laptop.

Also, make sure media cache is trashed and your system trash is empty on a regular basis.

Need A310 LCD Cable

I need to replace the LCD cable on an IdeaCentre A310. I can't find one, and can't even find the part number. There is a hardware maintenance manual but has no part numbers: http://download.lenovo.com/express/hmm_idea_desktop.html. Is there any way I can find this cable? It seems to use the same connectors as many laptops, but I don't know if there is something that matches it.

G530 444623u LCD Cable

I have a Lenovo G530 Type 4446-23u that has a bad LCD cable. I have looked everywhere but can not find a FRU# for that part. Can anyone help?

The only part number I have found is DC02000JV0
and NOT guaranteed to be correct.
But it does seem to be for a G530.

Due to TAM's inner film LCD cable (yellow color) is damaged, screen is abnormal or no screen sometimes.
Please let me know how to get that cable via online.

The LCD might be the same as an iBook or early Powerbook, but there are several slightly different models within each line. There are several LCD modules used in the clamshell iBook, for example. Each one is made by a different manufacturer. Each one uses its own different flex cable.
I would guess that the flex cable used in the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh is unique to that model. Unfortunately, a typical service guide, with exploded diagram and some part numbers, was never released to the field in the US.

You probably can, but this type of configuration is not recommended or supported by Apple.
Two cautions if you want to try this:
1) The Time Capsule has to be configured to "Join" your existing wireless network in this type of setup...and to do that, you must know the exact type of wireless security that your network is using.
2) Backups are likely going to take twice as long. The wireless signal must travel from your computer to the wireless router and then from the wireless router back to the Time Capsule. Two "hops"......even if the computer is located close to the Time Capsule.
If you want to try this, we can tell you how....but with no guarantees on your results....since this is not officially supported.

I have done exactly as you say, but it does not work for me.
You indicated " Navigate to the info tab and scroll down. There'll be a check box for 'sync over wifi' or something to that effect. Check that box and sync to affirm your choice."
I navigated to Summary tab (not Info Tab) and checked "Sync with this ipad over Wi-Fi"
I disconnect the wire,
and my iPad disappears from my iTunes screen.
in my iPad ->Settings -> General -> iTunes Wi-Fi Sync -> says " Sync will resume when (my PC) is available.
So, I can not sync via wi-fi
