Could be a graphics card heat problem.
Search for a monitoring tool for your graphics device and check the temperature of the graphics chip.
Also check your pc for dust inside - maaybe you have to clean it carefully.
Or it's an old monitor ...

Hi, I accidentally spilled water on my Mac Air on the very right side of the keyboard. After a few minutes, the screen turned white and a gray folder with a question mark came up and kept flashing. THEN IT DIED HELP.

After the screen turned white and the folder popped up, it just kept flashing. After a few minutes the screen just turned white completely and I could hear the noise of the drive. Do not attempt to charge as that will only make the damage worse. You need to take the MacBook Air to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians check and see what repair work is necessary. It only takes a very small amount of liquid to cause short circuits and damage.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I raise the lid after sleeping, the screen comes on momentarily then backs out. If I close the lid and raise it again, the same thing happens. It is sometimes necessary to force quit. Once restarted, there is no problem unless the lid is closed for a short time and the machinge goes to sleep.

My ipad was in the process of updating (ios7) while at the same time syncing with my laptop. suddenly the screen turned black and after few seconds the new itune icon appeared on the screen. the same icon appears even after i reset it.

i have a similar problem...It seems to be tied to my guest account. It is set to Japanese as primary language but my main login is set to English. I tried changing the guest account to english but the change won't hold. It always reverts to Japanese.

If no joy, restore backup using iTunes.
Finally last attempt, rsetore as new and sync content back manually.

Are you talking about the pane of clear glass in front of the screen in a MBP that came with a glossy display? If you replaced the glass yourself, and you have this problem afterward, then clearly you damaged your display in the process.
