HP4620 will not print black BUT i can scan a copy to the printer and then print out black
AS soon as i changed the black print cartridge it stopped printing black copies but i can scan a document to the pc and then print it and it prints out perfect .... this is the third HP printer that i have (different models) where the SAME thing happens... i just sent 105.00 for cartridges that the printer still does not print. I'm not understanding why i can print out a scanned document but cannot print anything else PLEASE help me because ive already wasted 105.00 .... i've done everything ... cleaned the printheads 20 times and also reset printer to factory defaultsNOTHING WORKS .......

I have asked the Hosts to move it to Snow Leopard (you should not lose contact with it through any email links you get)
I also don't do Wirelss printing so I can't actaully help either.

Please help!! My Powerbook will not power up, but I can hear the fan running when I press the power button to attempt to power it up. I just received a new power adapter because it wasn't working properly and it was doing this before and then it worked for a week and now it will not power up at all. It just starts the fan but nothing else turns on. When I plug the adapter, with the battery still connected, it will look as if it is charging but then the light on the plug turns from green to orange then off and doesn't power up at all. If I take the battery out and plug in the adapter, the light stays on but it does not power up except for the fan noise. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also followed the two articles listed online in regards to resetting the power setting and the command + alt + P + R as well. Nothing works. Thanks in advance.....
Same here. If I start up with the power adapter attached, it starts up fine. If I try to start up from battery only, the fan comes on, the sleep light comes on but nothing else happens. I tried letting it sit that way for about 15 minutes and nothing changed. I tried attaching the power cord while in this mode and nothing changed. I tried the PMU reset a couple of times but nothing helps.
This computer is just over 1 year old and I have not had any problems with the power cord (3rd party), the battery, or any problem like this before. It started after a proper shutdown last night and attempt to start without the power cord this afternoon.
Any answers to this yet? I think I'll call on this and report any success to this discussion.

my hp6600 printer is connected to my wireless which is provided by my TimeCapsule. my Windows7 prints fine wirelessly. however my MACBooks do not print wirelessly. I can scan from HP6600 to MACBook wirelessly and if I print the queue looks ok but no print comes out.
can anyone assist pls!It sounds like the windows computer has captured the printer..
I suggest you turn the windows computer off.. reboot the rest of the network and see if the Mac can then print.. if not, remove the printer setup in the Mac and redo it.
Remember the TC has absolutely nothing to do with this.. TC is merely a wireless router.
This is windows and Mac interferring with each other. -
I open Adobe Acrobat X Pro and it open but shut right down and now it will not open at all what can I do to correct the issue?

Please follow the steps given below:
1.Delete all the files from following folders:
2.C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
3. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache
4. And, delete all files from following folder except cache.db
5. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ Adobe PCD
Now, launch the product and activate again with a new serial number.
I hope this would resolve your issue.

I have photoshop elements 10 and when I put the 1st disc in it will not load it just launches. I have gone through the step and troubleshooting in the manual but no dices please help.

my iphone is able to charge when i connect it to my computor, but no matter what i do, will not show up on itunes. i have tried resetting both the computer and the iphone and nothing is working.
Type "ipad not recognized in itunes" or similar into the search bar at the top of this page by "Support".

When I try to connect to the wifi it will not unlock. It will not even search for a network. I have reset the phone and reset the network. Any ideas.
I Can do that for home but not at friends and work places, nobody else has any problem joining it!! I'm wondering if restoring factory settings will solve it but don't really want to do that as its a hassle to reinstall everything for it to not solve the problem!!

Please don't tell me to retry, or re check my information because it is all correct, it basically says u cannot use thi account due to it being connected to another device... which is my old fault iphone, at the apple store.I have never before heard of cards being locked to a single device... but your case has shown me that it happens.
If I am getting it right you try to log in to your account and it asks for billing information, and when you enter your card details it tells you that the card cannot be used. When I open iTunes, it will not allow me to preview or download TV shows. The preview and download options are gray and will not let me view them. I have tried installing the latest Quicktime but it tells me that I have to do software update and when I do, Quicktime does not appear to need an update. I have no idea what to do
Click on your preference and check the Parental tab for possible restrictions. Open iTunes, then click the iTunes menu, select preferences after the window opens click on the Parental icon, take a look at the content restrictions section.

Anybody have an ipad that will not power on, for no reason? My ipad always worked fine and then one day it shut down because the battery was low so I plugged it in and it will not power on. Tryed the hard reset option still no power on

if my iphone is crushed(droped and ran over...) and will not read onto itunes/sync, is there anyway to access the data and back it? i really dont want to lose the progress in the apps that i play often....

For some inexplicable reason, Safari 5.1 will not open in Windows 7. It appears in task manager briefly and then disappears. No windows open; I have tried everything. Any ideas??
I fixed the issue. It was related to the DEP settings on my windows machine.

I have an iPhone 4 and my iMessage will not send pictures but I can recieve them.
I can send it as a text message but I can't send a picture thru iMessage and it just started happening. I have tried resetting the network settings, turning iMessage on and off, turning facetime on and off, turning the network on and off, I turned the phone on and off, I held the lock button and home button then turned it back on, I turned SMS/MMS on and off, I updated my roaming capabilities with Verizon, I deleted the threads of messages and sending different pictures thinking it was the picture itself but nothing has worked.....any suggestions??
Settings > Messages > Receive At > Apple ID.
Select your Apple ID and at the menu window that appears, select Sign Out.
Follow this by signing back in with your Apple ID to see if this makes any difference. -
photos in my iPhoto library will not enlarge when double clicked on. they fill the screen for a second (or less) and then screen goes black. hasn't happened before. thanks--
There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/ Library/ Caches...
5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help: As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Photos go to "last import" and "events" but not photo library?
