Hp8600+ - eprint is no more pinting

I was receiving every day Les Echos news, and every week the mathematical game.
Since a few days, nothing.
I have tried to send a mail to my hp8600+ printer, and I got back that the printer was busy.
I can print locally.
I have stopped and started eprint.
no effect.
I don't know how to solve that.
Any idea?

I assume you refer to the HP ePrint Center?
More likely your ePC account was assigned to the SnapFish service during its first registration and therefore the described behavior appears.
Please try the following steps and check if that may help:
1. Go to http://www.snapfish.com and click the Log In option at the top.
2. Click 'Forgot your password?' and follow the directions.
3. Make sure to log in to Snapfish using the temporary password and complete the proccess to select a new password.
4. Go to http://www.eprint.com and login using the modified account details

Currently, the solution only offers one copy. If you need to print multiple copies, the workaround is to send the email multiple times.

Hi,
Are you talking about the authorized list ? If Yes, you have to logon to your ePrint account (HP Connected) and add more email address(es) to the list. ONLY authorized email addresses can send successfully to your ePrint printer email address. You can use any email address on the list one any device given it can access to email account on the list.
For example, in my authorized list, I put my hotmail and yahoo emails addresses in there. I can access both accounts on my smarthone, iPad, desktop, laptop ... and I can use my hotmail or yahoo email address to send to my ePrint printer email address to print.

HP8600 is not connecting to eprint server

Hi,
I have an HP8600 with E-print.
The printer is connected wireless and is working fine on the local network. But it is not connecting tot the e-print server.
I think the problem is the D-link router Dir 855. I do not know what to change on the router to get it working.
Thers is no clear error message. Just on the e-print webpage the message is "not connected" on the printer webpage there is a red cross in the picture displaying the eprint status.

There is another option available of putting in a custom DNS server. The EWS for this model might differ slightly, but the same general steps apply for all HP printers.
What you want to do is gather the IP address off of the printer, you can do this by pushing the wireless icon on the display and you may have to go to view settings after. Take this ip and put it in the address bar of your web browser as if it were a webpage. From there go to the network tab along the top of that page, then you should have an ipv4 option along the left under wireless (or wired if you are using ethernet). In here you can set a manual IP, and a manual DNS server. Set the DNS server to manual, and put 8.8.8.8 as the primary, and 8.8.4.4 as the secondary.
These steps will have the printer go through googles DNS servers, which does seem to resolve this issue most of the time. The main cause is your ISPs DNS servers may not have the web services servers in their system, so when it goes to connect it times out, and gives you the proxy message.

HP8600 Jams printing front and back when 4 or more pages

System- Windows 8.1 PrinterHP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a. Model N911a Product number CN578A. Firmware version CLP1CN1322CR. Duplexer: Installed. ADF: Installed.
When printing front and back multiple pages of 4 or more pages the printer jams in the flip chamber. Both settings Printing [Front to Back] or [Back to Front] will jam.
I believe this occurred after going to 8.1 from 8.0, however, I am not sure.

I can see from your post you are experiencing jam issues. I would like to help!
I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration. You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

Eprint server refuses email

While I can print from my gmail account, any attempt of printing from my employer's exchange server account is refused by the server at hpeprint.com:

I use a whitelist, but the account is on the whitelist.   Any suggestions?

Hmm... it appears some security processing at HP ePrint is rejecting the messages sent from your employer's exchange account.
I see the "reporting MTA" (Mail Transfer Agent) in the error message was gsb.columbia.edu....   Does your "from" email address correspond to this same domain? Ex. Does your email have the form [email protected] ?
I am able to successfully send emails directly from my corporate exchange server to my HP ePrint pinter... but have seen smtp 550 5.7.1 rejection codes in other cases when sending email indirectly via another service (where the to/from/etc. fields of the email header show domain miss-matches of some form...).
One example: Sending email from my Blackberry through Blackberry BIS service connected to a Comcast POP3 email account generate this 550 5.7.1 failure code, while using my Blackberry w/ Yahoo, Gmail, or my corporate Exchange SMTP accounts worked fine.   Do you know if you are using a POP3 or an SMTP connection to your Exchange account?   Speculation: Its possible you would have more success with SMTP than POP3?

I dont know how to add my wife and son to the eprint capability on my 8600 pro, i tried adding them as seperate users under hp connected but it wont let you use the claim code more than once. Anyone have any ideas? I'm sure someone has done this before, any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance

I think you misunderstood banhien's earlier post. Your wife would need to log into her ePrintCenter/HP Connected account and then add each family member as an authorized sender following the steps banhien posted.

I would guess this is an AIM valid Screen Name such as an Apple issued @mac.com account.
I would also guess you travel to other countries.
There have been several posts about @mac.com names and people who travel and use their Screen Name elsewhere having the name Suspended.
Can you Log in here https://settings.aim.com/ ?
Is this where you saw the Suspended message ?
For AIM issued name the answer is to change your Password as this tends to prove you own the account.
This does not work for Apple IDs used as AIM Valid Screen Names as AIM can't tell when the password is changed (They can only see it when you log in)
AIM's Suspended Account page has an email ([email protected]) on it to contact if your account remains Suspended.
However you need to be very clear that you have an Apple Issued Name and that you know that resetting the password that works for AIM Names and that you would like them to reset the account.
More recently this has been a sticking point. It seems the Contact you get does not always know about the agreement that AIM recognises Apple Issued IDs as Valid Screen Names and that the AIM servers can only view the passwords at specific times (or at least confirm them) so you changing it will make no difference and that they have to step in manually.

What is POP, POP3, and IMAP When I Setup My Email Account in the HP ePrint App?

I have done as much research as I can do in regards to setting up the HP ePrint App Email Accounts. If you do not see your email information listed here, feel free to post it below or contact your internet service provider, phone or email company, or whomever else that might know this. I am certain there are many more that could be added but this is a rather extensive list. I hope you find what you need to finish setting up your email applications.
I have noticed information differs from website to website but as I have learned over time, with domain masking and companies buying out other companies, I just researched all the information I could find and that way if one of the hostnames or ports don’t work, then you can continue to view further into this page to see if that information is the same. At that point, if you can’t find what you need here, I would say you have done all that you can do before contacting the appropriate support team for your email information.
Most of the links are active and the ones listed below should send you directly the pages I pulled this information from but only a few of them were from the actual support sites themselves (Apple support was vague, as well as Microsoft, Macintosh, and commonly used ISPs). Save yourself some time by searching here first. I hope you find what you need in this one-stop-shop and if you get an email address not listed here please post it below and I will add it to this original document.
Lastly, as this information is from forum-based and other unofficial websites, I would like to add that this is a copy/paste/edit-for-easy-reading document I created in my spare time. This is a very long document so I do recommend using the search and find quick keys to search for the email you need but the top part of this has definitions as to what servers, ports, and hostnames are and the basic setup in case you need to know what these options are used for and what they mean.

The Netscape e-mail system is web-based, which means you can access their e-mail from any Internet connection. The outgoing mail server needs SSL support, so make sure your email client software supports SSL connections over the SMTP protocol.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. I bought a new HP LaserJet 500 Color M551dn earlier this week and when I click on "Enable HP Web Services" it has been stuck on the following message for days: "This device is currently being registered for ePrint. Please try again later." I have tried manually assigning a new IP address and changing the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as suggested in other posts but it has not made any difference. Perphaps someone from HP can resolve this issue. Please help.

EPrint Apps, printing Preferences on an HP Officejet Pro 8600 wireless prntr

I have a fabulous HP Officejet 8600 series wireless printer that is connected to my home network. It works beautifully and efficiently! So far, I've had no issues or problems with it, except for one little tweak that I would prefer to adjust if it is at all possible. Can I set the print preferences so that when my Apps are printed (either as a scheduled app, or printed directly from the screen on the printer itself) so that they will print on BOTH SIDES OF THE PAPER??? And/or in DRAFT setting, with print on both sides, and with multiple pages per sheet?? I like to use these settings as often as possible to save on paper and ink and the like. I usually only use the optimal print preferences when its time to produce an essay for school or a flyer or something like that. If anyone can assist me, I would really appreciate it!! And... I hope that my question makes sense ;D!!! Thank you!! Jenni
