HPLaserJetService.exe throws SerializationException on windows 8.1 64bit start up
Hi,
I'm using windows 8.1 64bit and when the windows startup HPLaserJetService.exe throws an exception System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException and it ask me if I want to debug it.
Wheter or not I choose Debug my printer prints well.
How can I solve the exception?

My iMac (2011) has been persistently throwing this error message: "SafariDAVClient quit unexpectedly." This started when I moved up to Mavericks, from Lion. That's related since the process is attempting to load your Safari bookmarks from iCloud, and is crashing for some reason.
Try this:
Select the entire line that follows (triple-click to select it), then control-click, and from the contextual menu that appears, select Services > Reveal in Finder:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.iCloudHelper
Drag that entire folder to the Desktop.
Quit Safari.
Attempt to open iCloud Preferences again. If it opens de-select Safari.
Launch Safari again and determine if the problem is fixed. -
I recently downloaded a new update of the operating system on my 3GS It seems to be a bit slower since and I have no idea if that is part of what is going wrong. I cannot get itunes to recognise my phone. Windows pops up a 'window' that says my 'mobile device services' is not working and would I like Windows to look online for the problem - I say yes, windows does it's thing, blanks out and I am back where I was. I tried updating itunes but no luck.
I found the mobiledeviceservices.exe file and made sure it was all 'on' and 'enabled' still no luck I did a search and came up with some other people who had the same problem but the answers that they were given didn't help me.When you erased the disk did you select Mac OS Extended Journaled as the format option?

I am encountering the following error when trying to connect to an Access 2013 database:
The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.
I have Visual Studio 2013 SP3 running on Windows 8.1 64bit OS which also has Office 2013 installed (which includes MS Access 2013). My project is a WCF web service using .NET Framework 4.5.1 using any cpu as target. I have tried reluctantly
to install the older drivers as described by in the below article:

and also went through the "Add Data Source" wizard in the Project menu to have the connect string automatically built. Even with the automatically built connect string I can not connect to the .accdb file from within my WCF web service.
What's odd is if I use the Database Explorer in Visual Studio it has no problem connecting the my Access file. I inspected the connect string and tried to use it as well but still get the same error. Even stranger is that I have no problem connecting
to the Access DB in an ASP.NET project on the same PC. I am also able to connect to the Access file using a simple Windows Forms application. So I'm wondering if it has something to do with trying to connect to the Access file from a WCF web service
project.
What I'd like to know is if anyone has been able to get this to work in an environment as I described above as a 64bit WCF web service project? I tried to switch my project to 32bit but when I do I get a different error which reads:

How do you host your service? Stand-alone or IIS or embedded to another application? Keep in mind that IIS7 runs it in its application pool which is defaullt 64bit. Thus the bad image exception, when compiling your service as 32bit.
When you need the Access database for your service to store informtation, then I would switch to SQL Server (Express) or XML files depending on your actual needs.
Also check whether your account under which your service is run has the necessary NTFS file permissions on the access file and the folder. This is getting even more complex when it's a remote folder. -
Windows Services not starting in OOBE after Sysprep - Windows 7 Professional 64bit
So, I'm attempting to create an image to deploy to our Lenovo Thinkpad T540p's using Windows 7 Proffesional 64bit. At this point I'm simply setting up the image and running Sysprep /oobe/ generalize and then trying to boot into windows to make sure it works
before we store and deploy it.
When I do, I'm getting an error message that the services failed to start and restart the PC. I started the process listed here:

I've tried starting from the Lenovo image, or our previos image but cannot avoid this error. Any ideas? Here is the logfile in full:

He appears to have modified the lenovo image (it has a bunch of lenovo bloatware still on it) and then run sysprep on it. His image works, but if I make any changes to it, it seems to break.
Yeah, I wish I could get a hold of him and ask, but that's not really an option ><
Edit: Interestingly enough I ran sysprep just from the image and it did the same thing...I'm not really sure what the last guy must've done to set this up -

Anybody here install the Vertex O series 6 running on the Java Stack? if so, what NW release and what component?
We are currently running an older version on SAP NW640 JAVA with no issue, and I am making the assumption the new Vertex would be running on the same SAP java AS for 7*... maybe not?
The install documents from Vertex say the requirement for SAP is:
"SAP NetWeaver 7.1 with Service Pack 3 or higher" and I see that there is only 7.1 for PI and Mobile.
(Maybe they mean SAP NW 7 SP3?)
We did ask Vertex, the company, about running this on the java app and they wrote:
"Netweaver 7.1 is currently supported for deployment of O Series 6.0. Versions 7.0 and 7.3 of Netweaver are not supported.
O Series 6.0 is supported for use with Java 1.5 and Java 1.6. "

Oracle Services are not removed from system (10g, on Windows 2003)

I haven't used Oracle on Windows Os before and not sure what to do.
Here is what happened
1- I installed 10g on windows 2003 server, created a database with service name OPER
2- I was unhappy with the installation and removed it.
3- then I installed Oracle 10g software again, creating a database again which has name IZROPER
now, there are two of every oracle service in the services.msci
service names containing the first db's (OPER) are still showing up in services, how can I remove them?

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

I had been using FCP 5 on my iMac for nearly 2 years. I have exported via Quicktime conversion, and straight to Compressor with no real problems with speed.
I have a large encoding job to get done, so i upgraded and got Dual Quad 2.8 with 4 gb of RAM. I also upgraded to FCP Studio 6.
Encoding times for H.264 are taking longer than on my iMac by a long time. A 15 second test file running through single pass H.264 encode is taking 4 minutes. It took 45 seconds on my iMac!
I've tried setting up the cluster using 4 instances, I've tried using "this computer only". I've tried with and without frame controls for interlacing. I've tried creating reference movies and importing into compressor. I've tried exporting straight from FCP. I've tried un and re-installing the software.
I'm dying here. Have spent a ton of cake and feel like throwing this thing out the window. I've googled until my fingers turned blue looking for suggestions. I'm in serious need of help.
Please, oh Mac FCP gurus, lay your knowledge down on me! I can provide specific settings and specs as needed!

As Brian Gary mentiones in that MacBreak video, maxing out your instances in Qmaster is not necessarily the best thing to do when trying to make use of a virtual cluster. -
Linksys connection problems (ready to throw the thing out the window)
I own a G4 powerbook OSX 10.3.9. and use a WRT54G v5 router. Everything was working fine up until a week ago. Now, I am CONSTANTLY losing my connection and because of this, I have to reboot the router every day. Even then the signal only works for a few hours. I've upgraded to the latest firmware and that hasn't helped.
I'm at my wits end here and don't know what to do. It's so very frustrating. Can anyone make any suggestions? I'm seriously ready to throw my powerbook out the window.

So, what happened about a week ago? There has to be something that happened to cause this trouble. Did you have a freeze/crash? Hard shutdown? Kernel panic? Did you install something other than firmware? Any security updates?
Unless you have cleared your logs, you can look at your system logs (Console/logs/system.log and ppp logs (in Console/logs/var/log). you may find a hint as to what started occuring around the time of your troubles beginning.

Ready to throw the printer out the window!!!!!!!
So i've been trying to update my portfolio and im ready to throw this printer out the window and probably never buy another HP product if someone cant help me fix this problem. Everytime i go to print whether its landscape or potrait it cuts the top of my photo off. This is a new problem, its never happened before up until now. I have spent days trying everything, ive tried printing it off my Samsung galaxy tab S. My desktop. i have tried resetting the printer, updated the software, troubleshooting, aligning, everything and have gone through $100 worth of ink to get nothing out of it. Hello, In the printing App that you are using, there should be an setting option to select the Paper Type and Size. Make sure you got that settings changed to the type and size of paper you are wanting to print on. I am not sure if you are using the inbuilt app of Samsung to print or HP's ePrint & All in One Remote app . ? HP ePrint app is used for printing using.HP All in One Remote app is used for Scanning . Invoking web service from EJB3 throw java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
I used JAX-WS to develop a web service and deployed it on webloigc 10.3.5. The web service was invoked from web application and it worked fine. However, when I tried to invoke the web service from a stateless session bean, java.lang.IllegalArgumentException was thrown out and complained that "*interface gov.fema.web.nimcast.service.client.UpdateEmailPortType is not visible from class loader*". I tried following three ways to solve the problem
1. put the web service client artifacts under APP-INF/classes of the EAR
2. bundle the web service client artifacts into a jar file and put it under APP-INF/lib of the EAR
3. put the web service client artifacts into the same jar file of the EJB
However, none of the above approaches worked out, every time same exception thrown out.

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.example.www.Sample_PortType a relevant class can still not be found and Java really is not going to lie to you; this class is not on your application's classpath so it is either missing or put in the wrong place. Note that missing classes can be caused by you forgetting to properly redeploying your application - its usually something silly like that. Figure out what you did wrong and correct your mistake.
The fact that you have to mention that you "setup the classpath" is questionable; in web applications you don't touch the classpath at all. So what exactly did you do? -
OSB11g - Business Services - Calling WS throwing reader() error.
I have an OSB11g Proxy and business services.
my requirement is to get a WS SOAP request from a BPEL application on to my Proxy services. this proxy service will identify the URI to invoke and make a call on to BES via this business service with the exactly same request which i received in Proxy.

For both the request i am getting error as below .
java.lang.IllegalStateException: getReader() called after getInputStream()
But when i test the BS using WS tools (netTool) with the same request XML (which i receive in Proxy), i am getting proper response.
> I have no clue where is the problem actually in my OSB application. Do i miss some header or some additional thing i need to do before setting in request xml in service call-out.

I found one discrepency in the call made from OSB and netTool(WS testing tool)
The content length in the request to WS stub from OSB is - "content length =-1" . kindly help how to set the content length in the request.?
