Hi Sasi,
All the objects which you create in BI will be stored in some standad tables,it only fetch details accordingly from those tables.For MasterData you can find the option as Display Routines in Extras.If you want to get more infomation about the STD Table and the Program involed in BI objects,just enter in (/h) mode.

DEBUGGING - You have to DEBUGG any program or code if you have any error with that program or code
for example RUN TIME ERROR
QUERY WRITING --- You have to write a Query to generate a Report which is not standard and you have to fetch some fields specific to your requirement
For example generating the Pricing Report based on the Customer Region
Funcitonal Specifications for SMARTFORMS/ SAPSCRIPTS --- This is used when you are creating any layouts for your requirement
for example ORDR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, INVOICES, PICKING LIST
BAPI --This is nothing but BUSINESS APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE, This is one sort of Code used in program.
FUNCTION MODULES --- These are also used in programs to get some specific details into layouts
For example CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY is used to convert the foreign into local currency

Hi,
You are planning to user Solution Manager for storing user-documentation about your developed reports and other ABAPs.
In that case, you do you have to connect to a document in SolutionManager from an ABAP document?
If you really want to do that, for any Solution Manager document, you can generate a URL and use it from anywhere. This can be done from the attributes tab of a solution manager document, by clicking on the "Generate URL" tab.

I used the "How to Display a Smartform as PDF document in Web Dynpro for ABAP" document that e can find on sdn.
My problem is that when the form is called, there is a dump
"Please maintain an output device in your user master data. ".
I copied the code in a report and the form is displayed.
Did I miss something?

This workaround solution for smartForms sends the output to the Spool and then converts the spool to PDF. For it to work it has to have a printer id for the formatting to the spool. You must maintain a default printer in your user ID or pass in a printer into the output settings of the smartForms function module. Because all of this is occuring in the background, the smartForms function modules can't just popup a dialog asking for a printer.

Help needed - ABAP for function modules and routines.

Dear BW gurus,
Hope everyone is doing great.
