HR ABAP: Selecton-screen

I am new to HR ABAP.
I am using PNP LDB and managed to supress all the LDB selections except Company Code & PERNR using Report category.
But now,
1. how do I know what are the names of these fields on selection screen
2. how do i default 1000 for bukrs.
Thanks
Kiran

You don't have to go to SE36.
1. Got se38 in report attribute key in PNP as your LDB.
2. Start the Report as follows:
REPORT  ztest.
NODES: pernr.
INFOTYPES: 0001. " Infotypes you want to select
START-OF-SELECTION.
GET pernr.
rp_provide_from_last p0001 space pnpbegda pnpendda. " use macros as per need /  instead of pnpbegda  you can eve use pn-begda and pn-endda
END-OF-SELECTION.
At runtime you can look at PERNR / PN structures in debug.
All the selct options on Selection screen are represented by PNP +  name of field. for example
BUKRS on selection screen is PNPBUKRS.
to populate it use PNPBUKRS-LOW = '1000'. Append PNPBUKRS.
I hope this helps.

  • RE:HR-ABAP selection screen problem.

    hi,
hi friends iam facing one problem regarding hr ABAP  selection screen ,in my program iam using PNP LDB for bonus details report
i have using selection screen declaration present  for single selection.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK B3 WITH FRAME TITLE TEXT-006.
    SELECT-OPTIONS: S_ABKRS FOR P0001-ABKRS NO INTERVALS NO-EXTENSION,
                    S_WERKS FOR P0001-WERKS NO INTERVALS NO-EXTENSION,
                    S_BTRTL FOR P0001-BTRTL NO INTERVALS NO-EXTENSION,
                    S_PERSG FOR P0001-PERSG NO INTERVALS NO-EXTENSION,
                    S_PERSK FOR P0001-PERSK NO INTERVALS NO-EXTENSION.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK B3.
based on this selection iam fetching the information from infotypes using  macros.
now my requirement is iam fetch the information for multiple  selections means like payroll areas z1,z2 and z3 payroll informations
should be  fetching once.  pls any body knows solution please give me reply.
    thanks & regards,
    mgrao.

You should be using a selection view (HR Report Category in the programs attributes) to filter results from the LDB.
Why is this in the objects forum?

    Hi,

    Thanks in advance.
    VJ.

Use the below code and it should work.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN on VALUE-REQUEST FOR p_date. "p_date is your selection screen field.
       CALL FUNCTION 'F4_DATE'
        EXPORTING
          DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH               = SY-DATUM
          DISPLAY                                           = ' '

  • Uploading selection data to an ABAP selection screen

Not sure this is the best place for this question but here goes.
When a user is presented with a selection screen from an ABAP they have the option to upload data from a text file.  This works fine for single value lists but I cannot get this to work for ranges.
I have tried tab & comma delimited files, xls and plain fixed width text and am always presented with the message 'lower limit is greater than upper limit'.
    Regards
    Paul.

  • Download/Upload ABAP Programs, screens, texts, etc

    Hi Experts,
Is there any standard program or any tool by which we can download/ upload ABAP programs, sapscripts, Screens, text-elements, Webdynpro for ABAP applications to a local file????
The Download to local server option in SE38 just gives a text copy of program without any screens, text eleemnts, etc which is not as per my requirement.
    Points will be rewarded.

    Mansi.

    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION & USE
Allows a user to download programs, Functions, DD definitions, etc to the presentation server.  This version searches
recursively for nested includes and function modules, and allows you to download the resulting code as standard text
or HTML web pages within a suitable directory structure.
You can either search by object name, using wildcards if you wish, or a combination of Author and object name.  If
you want all objects returned for a particular author then select the author name and choose the most suitable
radiobutton.  All objects will be returned if the fields to the right hand side of the radiobutton are left completely
    blank.
Compatible with R/3 Enterprise only, for older versions of SAP you will need Direct Download version 5.xx.
This version removes the programming limitations imposed by developing across SAP releases 3 to 4.6.
In order to be able to download files to the SAP server you must first set up a logical filepath within transaction
'FILE', or use an existing one.  You must also create a external operating system command in SM69 called ZMKDIR. This
will then be used to create any directories needed on the SAP server
This program is intended to allow a person to keep a visual representation of a program for backup purposes only as
has not been designed to allow programs to be uploaded to SAP systems.

  • ABAP webdyn screen

how to take print of an ABAP web dynpro screen.
    help me regarding this.

    Hi,
you can use line size to change the width of your screen. the syntax is:
        [LINE-SIZE width]
        [LINE-COUNT page_lines[(footer_lines)]] ... .
    for example:
    REPORT z_myreport LINE-COUNT 65(8) LINE-SIZE 132.
here line-size is 132. by using this clause you can get the desired width of your abap editor.
reward points for all correct answers.

  • "/" character in ABAP dynpro screen element name

    Hello all,
I have a screen element on ABAP dynpro named as  /DMNN/SD_SYS-SYSID
I changed this element to drop down and get listed values from data element  /DMNN/SD_SYS-SYSID
Now on the PBO, I want to set initial value
    /DMNN/SD_SYS-SYSID = 'D0P'
But I got the following error when I try to activate
Field "/DMNN/SD_SYS-SYSID" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement.
    Thanks for any help

For each screen field you need corresponding data object defined in ABAP program. So all you need is to declare this structure either this way
    tables /DMNN/SD_SYS.
    or this
    data /DMNN/SD_SYS type /DMNN/SD_SYS.
Now you can initialize its fields in PBO with any data you want.
    Regards
    Marcin

  • ABAP selection screen modification

    Hello,
I have the following selection screen:
    PARAMETERS:
    p_kalaid LIKE kala-kalaid,
    p_kalabe LIKE kala-kalabez,
    p_kalada LIKE kala-kaladat,
    p_klvaf  LIKE kalv-klvar,
    p_tvers  LIKE kala-tvers,
    p_kokrs  LIKE kala-kokrs,
    p_bukrs  LIKE kala-bukrs,
    p_group  LIKE kala-rfc_group.
When I choose F4 on <b>p_kalaid</b> and then select one value proposed, it fills <b>p_kalaid</b> (as expected), but it fills <b>p_kalada</b> automatically as well!
My goal is to have all parameters fill in automatically with data from tables <b>KALA</b> and <b>KALV</b> based on my key selection (<b>p_kalaid</b>)... how can i do this?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hy!
I don´t know if there is an easier way,
but I would try it to program the F4 Matchcode selection in the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN. by my own!
After that you could read the other information with the result from the selcection and fill the other parameters.
There is a function where you can program your own selection but I forgot the name! (Something with MATCHCODE  and F4 in it!) Sorry...
    Jesus loves you!
    Manuel
