HR BCT Extractors no fecthing any Data.

Hi,
I am using the follwoing HR BCT extractors. I facing problem in extraction data.
1. 0HR_PA_OS_1 : When I am checking this DS in RSA3, it is not extracting any data even though data is available in tables HRP1000, HRP1001, PA0007 and HRP1007.
2. 0HR_PT_2 : When I am checking this DS in RSA3, it is not extracting any data even though data is available in tables PA0001, PA0007, PA0202, PA0203,PA2010 and PCL2.
( Configuration side there are reporting time types maintained in SBIW- Time management as per R/3 config )
Any suggestions.

I use RSA3 to check the extractor.

Hi Suresh,
HR extractors need additional authorizations. When the extractor is run, there would be a check if the user is authorized to extract data. Check SAP notes 672514 & 397208. Also find my previous post on this.

How to identify whether any data source is created for a table?

hi all,
How to identify whether any extractions is been carried out for a particular table, view or function module(generic extraction)? from r/3.
bcos i need to create an extraction for a table, view and function module. But iam not sure whether any extractions is already been created for those tables, view, function modules??

By passing the following values as selection to table ROOSOURCE we can find whether any data source has been created or not .
EXMETHOD = V
EXTRACTOR = Table name

Select doesnt return any data

i was trying out some ABAP code and with the following select statement i am not fecthing any rows from the database table BSEG.
could anyone point out what is wrong with this code?
the document number which is being filled in ld_docnum exists in BSEG table.
what i think the problem is with statement ld_docnum = ld_intercomp+1(9).
is this converting the data into any other format that the bseg-belnr is not able to match?
data ls_bseg type table of bseg.
Data ld_docnum type bseg-belnr.
data ld_intercomp type bkpf-bvorg.
ld_docnum = ld_intercomp+1(9).
select * from BSEG into corresponding fields of table ls_bseg where belnr = ld_docnum.

Why do you do this MOVE, from one BKPF-BVORG you select the records from BVOR with same Number of Cross-Company Code Posting Transaction and then select from BSEG with full document key with data from BVOR (GJAHR, BUKRS, BELNR)
BKPF (1 record) -> BVOR (n records) -> BKPF (n records) -> BSEG (> n records)
NB: In your code you move internally (no conversion exit) nine characters to BELNR, which is ten character long and has the conversion exit ALPHA, so as those are usually number, the conversion exit (in SE16 and other transactions) align characters to the right and add leading zeroes. Also even if you manage to solve this remember that (taking whole ten characters or adding a leading zero), BELNR is not sufficient to get the right document, you need BUKRS and GJHAR too.

Do not get any data from 0CA_IS_TS_1 and 0CA_IS_TS_2 data source

We are trying to populate cubes(0CATS_C01) and (0CATS_C02) for which data sources are 0CA_IS_TS_1 and 0CA_IS_TS_2 respectively. We activated business content for these data sources. When we run these data sources in RSA3 we do not get any data even though we have data in the repective tables. We applied SAP Note :1586467, which says (Note 1586467 - Extractor 0CA_TS_IS_1 returns no data), Can you please help me out in knowing if we are missing some thing?

To use this DataSource you must have implemented Support Package SAPKH46C32, or have made the relevant corrections in SAP Note 509592.
Pl check you have required data as mentioned below
When transferring time sheet data to the Business Information Warehouse (BW), you must note the connection between the following data sources:
· CA_TS_IS_1 (Time Sheet Data (Approved))
Documents are written in the SAP R/3 system for Time Sheets with status 30 (approved). The documents log the changes that have been made to data records.
Therefore, the SAP R/3 system can perform a delta update for this data source. The system only transfers newly approved data records and changes that have been made to existing data records. At the same time, the SAP R/3 system notes the date of the last delta transfer.
· CA_TS_IS_2 (Time Sheet Data (Released for approval))
The SAP R/3 system does not write documents for Time Sheet data with status 20 (released for approval). This means that changes made to these data records are not logged.
Therefore, the SAP R/3 system always performs a complete transfer of data records that have been released for approval. The number of data records that need to be transferred usually remains constant because in the period between two transfers not only new data records are added but other data records are also approved. Therefore, system performance is not restricted.

Alternative to 2lis_01_S507 extractor to pull Planned data in BW

HI Experts,
Currently we are using 2LIS_01_S507 extractor to pull the Planned data from R/3 (S507 table), as most of you are aware beause of *LIS type of extraction this load takes huge lot of time hence we are pulling this data in BW on Monthly basis.Now as a part of business requirement it is needed to pull the planned data (from tcode :MC94) on Daily routine . Actually , we don't want to extract the same data from this extractor and looking for some alternative in LO's , we tried a lot but was not able to find an alternative to pull the same kind of data from any other extractor/table
If any of you can please suggest any relevant table or any other LO type of extractor with which we can select similar data as from Tcode MC94 in R3 or table S507.

Well if you have a lot of data i recommend to have many init of setup tables, checkif you can use filters in setup table transaction for load data in many parts... so you can have many loads with little delay....

0fi_gl_4 init is not pulling any data

Hi All,
We have ofi_gl_4 installed and running fine with deltas. We thought of reinitializing the delta because of some business reasons. I deleted the delta initialization and started delta initialization with data transfer with Fiscal Year/Period selection. It is not pulling any records and it is saying there is no new delta since last extraction. I'm sure there is data as this extractor pulled the data so far for this period.
Then I thought of testing this using RSA3. Even RSA3 is not pulling any data. But there is data in BKPF/BSEG for this periods.
The extractor is putting the correct time stamps in BWOM2_TIMEST and all other entries in tables like TPS31, BWOM_SETTINGS are all okay.
Did any body faced this problem? Is there any change in the FI extractors recently?

The system was intentionally programmed like this.
Solution
The error is corrected in the standard system with PI 2004.1.
The reset logic is changed with this note so that during the reset, the DataSources 0FI_4 only delete their own entries in the initial selection table (ROOSPRMSF) and in the time stamp table (BWOM2TIMEST). The data of the table BWFI_AEDAT is, however, only deleted if no more 0FI__4 DataSources are active.
Proceed as follows for the advance correction:
1. Install the code in function module BWFIT_RESET_TIMESTAMPS or include LBWFITTOP.
2. Create an executable program ZFCORR_BW_02 with transaction /NSE38.
Program title:        Change 0FI_*_4 DataSources.
Selection texts:      Name Text
                       OBJVERS Version
                        OLTPSOUR DataSource
Implement the source code of program ZFCORR_BW_02.
Execute the program for the DataSources 0FI_AR_4, 0FI_AP_4 and 0FI_TX_4. The program uses the BWFIT_RESET_TIMESTAMPS function module as a reset module for these DataSources.

Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard does not display any data

Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard does not display any data even though the load completed successfully.
They are able to see just the parameters.
Not sure if the upgrade of the database from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.3 is a factor.
What can I check?
Is there some table to verify that the data exists for display in the Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard?

Support suggested to create a new request set and run the initial load with load all summaries option; but there was no change in the Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard.
Any ideas?

We have faced the similar problem after the upgrade to 10G
What we did was
Ran the initial load of time dimension, Item setup request set, and the request set of all the dash board in the clear and initial load mode..
we were able to get the data once the clear and load is completed successfully

BI Publisher Word Template The report does not contain any data fields.

I have OBIEE BI Publisher report (10.3.4) working fine using BIP but using MS Word 2003 I want to create new template and want to add charts etc.
Step 1. In MS Word I successfully login Oracle BI Publisher as Administrator
2. Oracle BI Publisher -> Open (I open the report)
3. Go to Insert -> Table Wizard
I get this error:
The report does not contain any data fields. Please make sure that the reports generates data with the default settings or provide a valid XML file.

Just subtract the dates from each other and you will get the number of days. I have used it and it works prefect

Hi Assuming you are using the essbase report writer the following script will work: { SUPPAGEHEADING } { SUPCOLHEADING } { SUPFORMATS } { SUPFEED } { NOINDENTGEN } { FIXCOLUMNS 1 } <ROW("Dimension") <UDA(Dimension,MyUDA) ! the fixcolumns 1 will ensure that you only get the UDA without it you will get the variable followed by the corrosponding value.

Sharepoint web analytics does not show any data

We installed Sharepoint Web Analytics some days ago (separated application pool).
Installation completed successfully.
Search works fine and returns expected results.
But reports still don't show any data :
Data Last Updated: 15.08.2014 02:00:16 There is no data available for this report. Here are some possible reasons: (1) Web Analytics has not been enabled long enough to generate data; (2)
There is insufficient data to generate this report; (3) Data logging required for this report might not be enabled; (4) Data aggregation might not be enabled at the level required for this report.
What I tried :
connect to website using different users (admin user included)
checked that needed services on server are started (especially analytics services)
restart services Web Analytics Data Processing Service and
Web Analytics Web Service
checked that all services applications are started (WSS_UsageApplication status was
stopped so I started it using Sharepoint 2010 Management Shell)
checked service application associations (especially if Analytics Service Application Proxy is checked)
manual execution of jobs (Web Analytics Trigger Workflows Timer Job, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing)
manual start of incremental crawling
restart IIS
checked scope of data logging (especially if Enable usage data collection and
Enable health data collection are checked)
checked that the .usage file are generated correctly on the disk
checked in the Logging database (WSS_UsageApplication) that the
RequestUsage view contains data collected from the .usage files
checked that data is successfully extracted from the logging database into the staging database (LastLoggingExtractionTime)
checked that data was successfully copied from the staging database to the reporting database (LastDataCopyTime)
checked on the website side that Advanced Web Analytics feature is
Active
recreate web analytics application
checked for any message in ULS logs that could help... I only noticed that error :
The SharePoint Health Analyzer detected an error. Drives are running out of free space. Available drive space is less than twice the value of physical memory. Can it cause the problem ?
All appears to work fine but I can't see any data in the reports.
The thing is that Inventory data is collected successfully and I can see the related reports. Traffic and Search data are still empty.
Anything else I can try ?

Yes I have granted application pool identity full control on the Web Analytics Service Application.
I also checked that Sharepoint 2010 timer service is started.
I can't see anything in the logs that could help, when accessing the reports. The only thing I noticed is this kind of log which occurs
regularly and seems to be an exception :

ReportViewer control used with a remote report does not display any data.

I have this .rdl report that runs just fine on our reporting server (I can see that when I try to run the report by accessing its URL in a browser). However, when I run it in my Windows-based application, I do not see any data. My report has two input parameters
and it needs to impersonate the caller's identity because the database uses Windows Authentication.
Here is the code I use:

Good to know CR doesn't like joins of Stored Procedures to something else.
But in my testcase, I finally dropped the link between the ttx file and the stored procedure. Doing so, I was able to run the report from the designer with the stored procedure as datasource instead of the ttx file. At that moment, I still had missing data in my report, while the resultset of the stored procedure returns me all the correct data !
In the mean time, I changed the layout a bit, especially the text fields containing name, address, country and postal code and city of the customer, by just adding some spaces between those seperate databasefields. In fact, there is one text box with all those database fields concatenated one to the other.
And by just adding some spaces in between, my report works fine again ?!

File Screening Audit Report does not contain any data : report statistics is empty

I have enabled File screen audit and Record file screening activity in auditing database options in file server 2008.
I am getting details of file screen audit in Event log , But incident report file screen audit report does not contain any value.
Getting report for each incident of file screen audit , But it does not contain any data in report statistics.
Data available in scheduled report of file screen audit.. not available in incident report only..

Please note that, If the Record file screening activity in the auditing database check box is cleared, the File Screening Audit Reports will not contain any information. To configure file screen audit, I would refer you on this informative
