I am new to HR. My requirement is to "check if employee has Benefits. Pull benefit plans for employee and Dependents.".
Please can any one send the appropriate infotypes and coding steps.

Hi,
The benefits information is stored in IT 0171, 0167, 0168, 0169 etc.
Please quiery this infotypes in your report to find if any data exists.
Also there are function modules available. Search FMs in T-code SE37 with BEN.
You might find relevant FMs

You cannot upgrade to Mountain Lion anymore. Mavericks is now the current version. Got to Apple's website to see what the features of Mavericks are, then decide if upgrading is something you should do.

The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.

I want to know the benifits of oracle 10g(Application Server) as compare to Developer 6i.Actually we are using an application built on forms6i & reports6i with Oracle 9i database.We want to convert that application on Oracle 10g(Application Server).For this we will give a presentation to our managment shows the benifits of new tech. over previous tech. which we are using.

There can be various factors to be considered. I'll list some of them, from my experience :
- End user point of view : if current architecture is Client/Server, and depending on geographic Clients distribution, there could be a quite sensitive performance enhancement. This is not a general tip, it depends on some factors, but we often noticed such an enhancement passing from Client/Server to Web architecture.
- Technical point of view :
-- if current architecture is C/S, then you won't need Forms runtime anymore on each Client, just a browser. Moreover, if you don't use a centralized file server, now you have to update each Client for software management.
-- if current architecture is Web, then 10g is much easier to install and configure, especially if using standalone version Forms and Reports services, and more flexible and powerful.
-- your version is already desupported, and assuming we are speaking of production environment, this could be a problem.

Tips for z10 for someone that doesnt have the time to learn the quick benifits

Upgrade to 2.5gb - Performance Benifits

I was wondering if anyone who has upgraded their Second Generation iMac G5 with a 2gb ram stick could tell me what kind of performance benifits they saw. Is it worth the investment? I use Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and other pretty heavy duty software on a regular basis, so I'm assuming it will help.

If you use those apps regularly and you have the stock 512MB, you will see a big boot in performance. I have 2GB on mine and while I am not a pro, I dabble with those apps and they run very nicely with the 2GB, but there are still pageouts indicating that they would want even more RAM if that was possible.

As you are from India, you have to go through the classroom training to get the certification.
The benefit is you will have a knowledge about the subject.

ESS Benifits and payments - form16 - No entry found for application id XSS_

we have deployed ESS 1.0 sp13 and i am getting an error in benifits and payments .
No entry found for application id XSS_HR_IN_F16 at table T7XSS_SER_RFW this was the error prevesoly getting after maintaining the values in ESS (SPRO) GRT assign application id to ABAP calss.

Thanks ,,A lot of installations reserve the C: partition for the os only, placing any installed products (like, say, Oracle) on another partition - Even if that other partition is on the same physical drive. This is done for management, not performance.
