Is it possible for users to change the pay for PS group or is this Config. If config, what information is needed to make the change? Rates are currently outdated.

An Employee Pay scale structure consist of pay scale type, pay scale area, pay scale group & pay scale level.
Pay scale type mean what kind of your industry domain is for example is it a software industry, manufacturing or retail industry
pay scale area is geografical location
both pay scale type & area is defaulted by feature tariff.
pay scale group is basically customised by taking job evaluation & indirection evalution in consideration.
for example pay scale group can be manager ( generic job) in this again subdivision will be there which are called pay scale level. for example group manager and level 1 will get a salary package of 1...... amount.
by maintaing different level & group we can maintain pay scale of different employees in the organisation.

E1 PRI C1760V - unable to config pri-group timeslots 1-8,16

I'm trying to set-up a C1760 voice gateway with a VWIC-1MFT-E1 connecting to an ISDN30 PRI (E1)pri-group timeslots 1-8,16 on the controller E1 I get the following message:
%Controller tdm clock does not have data capability
Any idea's why I can't do this???

This behavior is only seen when the c1751 or c1760 voice gateway has a T1/E1 VWIC installed and the T1/E1 controller is in a DOWN state, either due to an actual outage or even due to administrative shutdown. The T1/E1 controller can be set up for a voice pri-group, voice ds0-group, data channel-group, or even nothing at all -- the key is that the controller is DOWN. Once the T1/E1 controller is brought back up the OUT STATus for all POTS dial-peer will return to an UP state and calls may terminate again on those POTS dial-peers.
Workaround:

I know the solution that you can assign the values directly in IT0008 (of course T588M has to allow this).
In the customizing "basic pay" in the personnel administration section, you have to set up the possible combinations (definition of the values).

Hi,
In India, depreciation on assets for the purpose of computation of net income as per the Income Tax (IT) Act 1961 is calculated over a block of assets instead of individual assets as allowed under the Companies Act 1956. Asset acquisitions and retirements are managed over the block level. The IT Act prescribes certain rates of depreciation to be used under the Written down Value (WDV) method over these asset blocks to compute depreciation.
The following are the customization settings that may be followed in the R/3 system in order to manage your assets in the income tax depreciation area.
1. Copy the standard chart of depreciation 0IN as provided by SAP and create your own chart of depreciation.
2. Use the depreciation area 15 for the purpose of management of assets under the IT Act. Make it statistical in nature. (Reference Transaction Code: OADB). Do not check the box negative net book value.
3. Specify that the Income Tax depreciation area takes over the APC from the book but not make it identical (Reference Transaction Code: OABC).
4. Create an asset class for the purpose of income tax blocks. This asset class will be used to create only group assets. (Reference Transaction Code: OAOA)
5. Specify that the depreciation area for income tax can be managed only for group assets. (Reference Transaction Code: OAYM). This would mean that depreciation for this depreciation area would be computed only at group asset level.
6. Specify that the asset class defined in (b) above will be used for creating group assets only. (Reference Transaction Code: OAAX)
7. Two period control methods (IT and NL) have been defined in the system for determination of start or the end of depreciation calculation at the time of a fixed asset acquisition or retirement. You may use these period control methods while creating the depreciation keys for the purpose of IT depreciation.
Calendar assignments have been made for the above mentioned period control methods in order to reflect valuation requirements as per the Income Tax Act (Transaction Code: OAVH). You may create your own period control methods depending on the fiscal year variant you use. The period control methods supplied are based on the fiscal year variant V3.
8. Depreciation Keys: The following depreciation keys have been created in the system. They correspond to the income tax blocks that are prescribed under Indian tax laws. They are as below:

Default pay scale group

Dear All,
Can we restrict/defaulted pay scale grouping accordingly to employee sub group? in TARIF feature we can default pay scale type and area in basic pay, but how we can defaulted the payscale group, please let me know the steps.

Through TARIF we can default the pay scale type and Pay scale area, now I am looking restriction according to employee sub group, pay scale area also get defaulted. For example :
Employee Sub group :
A1
E1
E2
A2
S2
Z1
Payscale group:
A1 = PSA1
E1 = PSE1
E2 = PSE2
A2= PSA2
S2=PSS2
Z1=PAZ1
Now when you enter Basic pay here its showing all pay scale groups. Our requirement if we tag the A1 as a Employee subgroup to employee then in IT 0008 only PSA1 pay scale shoud be reflect.

Hi,
The Grouping determines the eligibility & amount for various allowance, reimbursements and perks for an employees.
Above is depending the company specified rules.
Step are as following
01. Define Pay Scale Grouping for Allowance - V_T7INA1 or SPRO => Payroll India => Pay Scale Grouping => Define Pay Scale Grouping for Allowance - for country & allowance grouping are based on category & Grade of employees
Example : 01M1- Assistant Manager create this type of grouping
02. Assign Pay Scale of Grouping for Allowance - V_7INA3 & Path is also same only select Assign PS of Grouping - Pay Scale grouping are assigned to Pay Scale Groups.
Example :
PS Area : 01
PS Type : 01
ESG/CAP : 3
PS Group : L2
PS Level : M1
AlGrp : 01M1
03. Maintain Pay Scale of Grouping & Levels - T_510 - in this the Wage type belongs to particular payscale area and type. ESG & CAP should have record in the screen. they will select the IT-0008 for creating basic record for employee & then you can get default amount in IT-0008.
Example :
Grpg : 3
PS Grpg : L2
Lv : M1
Wage type : all wages types which is related for asst.mgr which will updated in IT-0008.
start date :01.01.1900
End date : 31.12.9999
Amount : As per company i.e. basic should be 40 % on CTC then give the value in the same screen.
Currency :
04. Assign Wage type module for Pay Scale Grouping for allowance : V_T7INA5 : In this you should assign wage type model to payscale grouping for allowance.
Wage type can be earning & deduction & it must be prefix with 20/ to indicate that maximum 20 wage type you can stored in particular wage type module
Example :
AlGrp : 02M1
WT Model : 20/02M1
05. Maintain default wage type for basic pay : - V_T539A : in this wage type you can create the each record for each wage type belongs to particular wage type.
06. Maintain valuation of base wage types : V_T539J : herewith you define for indirect valuation (INVAL)
07.seting required : V_503_ALL : you can assign value assigned for different employee subgroup you can see herewith all details.

I would like to prevent OS-privileged users or connect as SYSDBA without giving password!
(there would be no passwordfile)
In a unix environment we can hide the name of dba-group changing config at /rdbms/lib
and relink:
Change: #define SS_DBA_GRP "dba" to: #define SS_DBA_GRP "mygroup"

??? How can I do that in a WINDOWS environment ???

Mobility group between controller 4400 and virtual wlc

Hello everybody...
I read the configuration guide about the 7.3 release. And I figured out that you will need a hash key for establishing a mobility group relation between a controller and a virtual controller. The 7.3 release for the 5500 series works fine for me.
But the latest release 7.0.235.0 for the wireless lan controller series 4400 does not have a functionality to add a hash key while creating a new mobility group member.
The command "config mobility group member hash" is totally missing.
Does anybody have an idea how to establish a mobility group between a 4400 controller and a virtual then?

The vWLC is out since yesterday.
We installed it in our lab and the deployment guide is out now, too.
Anyway... the hash is "god-given" in the vWLC. I can't change it to "none". So it is quite mandatory to enter a hash in the 4400 controller otherwise it just do not pair. So I am unable to establish a mobility group.
Any other ideas?

Unable to add new WLC to the Mobility Group

Any help will be very welcome.
I recently add a second CT5508 to the network, but when I tried to add the first 5508 to the mobilty group I received a message like this:
"error in creating member"
I've tried different mobility names, via GUI, via CLI and always the same error.
I've verified twice or more than twice connectivity issues or any error on the entering the MAC and IP of the controllers, everything is fine.
Any idea?

Did you load a configuration backup from your first WLC to the new second WLC? If so, it's possible we have a stale duplicate entry from loading a configuration.
On the WLC where you cannot add the member, let's try clearing out the stale entry from the CLI:
config mobility group member delete 00:00:00:00:00:00
Then, try to add the member and see if it works.

I have tried tying all these groups together in multiple ways but cannot figure out how to do this. This what i think it should be "access-list outbound_access extended permit object-group obj_Meraki_outbound object-group obj_Meraki_lan object-group obj_Meraki_pub"
What i want is the use the service objects and the source network would be obj_Meraki_lan and destination would be obj_Meraki_pub. It seems the rules completely change when you use object groups. Can someone explain this maybe with a few examples. I am already using object groups in many acls but not for every element.

Also have used such configuration in some special cases where the customer has insisted on allow specific TCP/UDP ports between multiple networks. And nothing is stopping from adding ICMP into the "object-group service" also.

Transport Of Config Table

Hi Guys
I've written an update program that makes changes to the T510 table in one client but I need to transport it programmatically to another client.
Programmatically in the sense that after the update program has finished I need it to come up with the appropriate dialog boxes, these dialog boxes are bog standard dialog boxes that appear when the T510 table entry is changed on a transportable client.
1) Maintain Table View Initial Screen
One with table/view name and 4 buttons Display, Maintain, Transport and Customizing.
Upon pressing Transport button
2) Should prompt me for the Country Grouping, Pay scale type and Pay scale area dialog.
Green tick this.
3) Prompt for customizing request - i.e. where you can select an existing transport or create a new one i.e. where the DVLK<no> appears.
Green tick this.
4) Finally the transport view "pay scale groups" overview dialog.
Here you would highlight the entries and then press the Include In Request button.
