HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA is it possible to perform same action as PA41

Hi All,
Is it possible to perform same action as PA 41 through HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA ?
I have a scenario If employee is already left i.e. date of leaving is already in info type 0 and if after 2 days I want to change leaving date of employee is it possible through function module Z_PBHR_INPUT, is there any functionality of PA41 or PA40 in this IDOC?

Is there any possiblity to run 2 same actions on same day...

Hi Experts...
According to my user s need..they want to run "change of position action" twice on the same date with different position Ids.
I have tried but the recent action overrides the first action details.
In overview i can able to see only one Change of position action.
Even i tried to see 0302 IT through SE11.There i have found additional action is there for every action performed to him including Hiring action.There is only one addtional action is showing up for change of position action.
Please advise me to resolve the problem.
How i have to answer the client.

Puneet is right. 2 actions are possible (if one of them doesn't change the employment status) but they should be different.
If you run the same personal action on the same day, then it's not an additional entry but a chang eof the earlier captured action so no recording of a 2nd action.

PS For what it's worth, I won't bother creating an action '2nd position change' because then in no time action 3, 4, 5 will be "required" as well.
Plain and simple: It's not possible to record the same action on the same day twice.

I trying to do something similar to what there is in JBuilder where you right click a method or a class - you get a popUpMenu and if you choose the
"Browse Symbol" JBuilder browses to that method/class.
I'm trying to do the same and to browse to some class of mine (not a java class). But there's a problem.

for your actionlistener all those items are more or less the same. when browsing to them you have to give them different names or better different actioncommands.

Something sketchy.
I had the same message appear. It resized my window to the smallest possible size (not minimize!) and when I resized it larger, it had opened a new tab with that message. It was on "c510a1.minersaver1.com" which sounds like a related site. It tried to download "avmast_2004-4_mst5.exe"and I was going to try and refind this site on my Linux box, but forgot to save the exact URL (oops!).
Running Firefox 4.0b11 on 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

Inserting an image "You cannot perform this action..."

I see from earlier posts that users are struggling to add
links and are seeing the error "You cannot perform this action in
this area of the page". I am getting the same error when trying to
insert an image. No reason why I should start to get this error.
I've inserted images on this page before. But then Contribute does
seem to start doing (or not doing) things of it's own accord. I
have tried using the <p></p> fix that other users say
work fo rlinks but it doesn't work for images. Frustrated.

I might be able to shed a little light on one possible reason
for this and I believe it to be a bug in Contribute.
This only seems to happen on .asp pages where you have Flash
that you are feeding URL variables into it.
If you edit any editable region on the page for some reason
Contribute wants to bung:

Into my Flash code, thus corrupting the whole page code and
totally confusing Contribute. And this happens even if you are
editing a region totally unrelated to the Flash

were so unhelpful I gave up and rewrote the pages as standard .html
and used template variables instead.

Problem Description:
Let's say my domain is: test.com, my group user is: test\group , my user is: test\user1
Except an admin account with full control at both "Web Application" and "Site Collection", all others account all have problem when creating a list item. After creating a list item, the workflow status is "cancelled" immediately
with the following message:

- The workflow is still fail even I assign "full control" to my users group "test\group" – at Site Collection level.
Surprisingly, I have successfully found a solution for this error message. However, I still have some points that I do not clearly understand. Let's start with my solution first.
Solution:
*** i. Assign permission policy at Web Application level – Central Admin site ***
1. Central Administration ==> Application management
==> Manage Web application
2. Go to "permission policy", then create a new permission level. This permission level contains all "edit item" permission.
3. Select "user policy", then I assign it directly to my user account: test\user1.
*** ii. Assign "edit item" permission at Site Collection level ***
1. Site Setting ==> Site permission
2. Assign "Edit" permission to my test\group.
(Actually I removed all permissions of my user group at Site Collection level. It seem my group has inherited permission from Web Application level, is that correct? )
*** iii. Create a new list item and workflow runs ……. ***
==> My question is:
1. Why I cannot assign permission to my users group - "test\group" -
at "Web Application" level? Instead I have to assign permission policy for each users, one by one?
2. Could you please let me know how to collect full detail error message of workflow status?

Point 1: Yes my 2 service: user profile & profile sync service are running. I performed "full synchronization" as well. Actually i've tried 3 another action plans before coming up with the solution i posted:

Point 2:
- Yes my user had Edit permission at workflow task list + list affected by workflow.
I have just remove all permissions of my user at "Site Collection" level. However, when i show my user permissions at my workflow task list and my users still have "Edit" Permission ( assigned at Web Application level. These permissions
still exist even after my workflow task list stop inheriting permission).
==> the problems probably belongs to "permission" at "Site Collection level". It seems "permission level at my Site Collection does not work". All users accounts are also suffer from the same issues except farm admin account
( which has full control at Web Application level).
I would appreciate if your guys can guide me how to make "permission" at my "Site Collection level" work again?

How do I perform an action on return key press in an inputListOfValues?

I know about the autoSubmit attribute, but I do not want to perform an action on a tab character or when exiting focus. Instead, I want to perform the same action as pressing a button when the user presses the return key in the input field. For example, an inputListOfValues for a search input, and a search button. When the user presses the return key, I would like the search to be performed. I'm sure that this can be done, I'm just not sure how. Thanks for any info.

I did something similar, on an input box, not on an inputListOfValues, but I assume it should work the same way more or less. I got it from

I used it for my login page so the user doesn't have to click on Login, just press enter after entering the password. I just had to map the corresponding method binding.
BTW, the link above doesn't tell you have to add the javascript to the page. What I did was add an af:resource element inside of af:document.

I am using 2 popup in a view.same popup's having same buttons 'Yes', 'No'.when i use 1st one i have to create an action for that Yes button where i put my code for that particular Action.
But when i used 2nd one the action define for that is not acceptable with differ name.it takes only standard one.
Now my Query is : How to use same actions for differ pop-up buttons with in a similar view?Where i put my code.

Take one integer value attribute in the context of view
when you r performing action on POP1 set it's value to 1
when you r performing action on POP2 set it's value to 2
create one method which receives integer argument, say diaplay(int a)
In the action call display(wdContext.currentContextElement().get<intvariable>()) by passing the value in the context attribute
in display() method, Check the value of integer variable..
if it is 1 then perform action related to POP1
if it is 2 then perform action related to POP2

Unable to expand DG is Lync client - Cannot perform this action, and the cause is unknown.

I have a user in our Hong Kong office that is unable to open a distribution group she has added to her Groups. She gets the error message "Cannot perform this action, and the cause is unknown. Contact your support team to investigate."
I can add the group and expand it, so can some of her colleague, and some cannot. Her colleagues who can have the same client and global policy settings as she does.
I read in a similar thread that this could be resolved by confirming the server times on Lync, AD (domain controller checked and Exchange but they were all correct and in sync.
The global policy is set to 250 max contacts - but does a DL count as 1 contact, or does it count all the people within the DG? I am getting HK to confirm she does not have too many contacts but I dont think this is the issue.
Anyone else come across this issue?

I'm using ASP .NET MVC 5
I'm trying to use Create view with the index view to show the created item in the same page. For that I'm using _CreateCategory as the partial view and I added following to the index view

Your class needs an action listener, so add implements ActionListener to you class creation string.
Then on each button set an action command;
button1.setActionCommand(BUTTON1);Now add an listener;
buttons1.addActionListener(this);Finally create a method to perform a task

Dear all, I need some help here,
My user need to open "Inventory in Warehouse" report. Basically, he could open aforementioned report (parameter selection), but after he click "OK" button, SAP subsequently show error message as below
You 're not permitted to perform this action - Absence Report
I have already grant "Full Authorization" for "Inventory in Warehouse" report (indeed, my user could already open "Inventory in Warehouse" forms, problem occurs after he click "OK" button)
Its pretty confusing for me, because this only occurs for "Inventory in Warehouse" report only. It doesn't occurs for "Inventory Posting List" report or for instance "Inventory Status" report. It only occurs for "Inventory in Warehouse" report.
Some advice would be appreciated here.

You have two modules to be authorised to your users for that. One is Inventory module and give authorisation to inventory reports. And second is Reports module in which again you have to give authorisation to the same inventory reports sub module.
