HR payroll extractors : no extractor on CRT table in Business content ?

Hi,
your help would be appriciated for the following topics :
HR payroll extractors
I need a confirmation about the fact that there is no extractor on CRT results (cumulative table) for HR payroll results.
By contrast, there is only datasource 0HR_PY_1 that deals with RT table.
HR time extractors
On the other hand, have you any information (not the SAP help) regarding the tables that are used in Time Management extractors, do you know which important result tables are not extracted via BCT datasources ?

I dont think that there is any standard tcode or table to find out the underlying base tables.
But you can try the below mehtod to to find out the tables related to a datasource.
Go to RSA2 >>> give your Data source name and execute>>>>Double click on the extractor>>>Goto the function module Top include and see the list of tables used.

Generic Extractor on DB Table without Date, Time stamp

Hi all,
We have requirement of creating a generic extractor on the table which doesnt have date or time stamp in the data field. The only option availabel is to extract from Document numbers.
And we cant put the extractor mode to "Read from view" because the table contains Currency field which refers to external table for currency key.
The moment we change the extractor mode from Extraction from view to Extraction from FM the option "Numeric pointer" gets hidden.
What shall we do in this scenario ?? Pls advice.

Prakash : Currency key is needed in BW .
Tapan : I was just trying diff. options i.e. extraction from view and FM . Problem with Generic Extractor is that i dont have any date fields getting updated in the table. The only field that can be used for delta is document number. And Generic extractor only allows date or time stamp option , its not allowing numeric pointer if one reads from FM.

Standard extractor for ECC table BFOD_A

Dear Gurus,
Do we have any standard extractor delivered by sap to extract data from ECC table "BFOD_A".
Also this table does not have any timestamp field..so in case we create generic datasource on this table how to do we extract delta.

As far as I know there is no standard extractors for this table. You are trying to get AR by Profit Center information? The FI consultant had tried adding a timestamp field but unfortunately the customized program is not 100% correct (as we have missing data in delta). So we just created a generic extractor on this table and perform weekly full load until the customized program got fix.

Find an R/3 table in a Business-Content extractor

I don't know about any website providing info abt DS, but I know how to find out the extractor,
Check Table ROOSOURCE (TCode SE16).
If field EXMETHOD = V (Transparent Table or DB View), name of datasource can be searched with field EXTRACTOR containing the table or view name.
In SE 11 you can process the u201Cwhere usedu201D function for a table to determine the views related to it and then search for them.

Generic extractors on pool table and Cluster tables

Good Afternoon all,
Can we create generic extractors on Cluster or pool Table. If yes Let me know how?
I am trying to create a Generic Extractor on BSEC Table but it is not allowing me to do this. It throws error that"Extraction from pool tables and cluster tables is not permitted"

you cannot do generic extraction directly on pooled or cluster tables.
You can create a function module, then you can create a Generic Data source based on this..

I am looking for the following information on a Payroll Extractor, as part of my project.
- Currently we are using an extractor 0HR_PY_REC_51 in our project.
- We intend to know if Payroll reconciliation with GL happens in the extractor 0HR_PY_CE_1, so that we could change our extractor from 0HR_PY_REC_51 to 0HR_PY_1_CE.
Please let me know if anyone has worked on this extractor.

The object you are referring to was created for functionality called
"Payroll Reconciliation" for Nordic Country Versions.
There are some limitations associated with it which are related
to reconciliation requirement of different countries.
Therefore, we do not recommend customers to use them, and there is
currently no support provided for these objects because these objects
are subject to major modifications to address the limitations.
The data source" 0HR_PY_REC_51" is used to extract payroll data for
reconciliation, which is not recommended to be used by the customers as
the solution is not yet released to the customers.

do not have further queries.

Payroll extractor 0HR_PY_1 do not return any data in RSA3 in full mode

Hi,
I have activated Payroll extractor 0HR_PY_1.
I use RSA3 to check the extractor.
It does not return any data(0 records) in full mode.
Do i need to do activate any other object, apart from the datasource?

Hi Suresh,
HR extractors need additional authorizations. When the extractor is run, there would be a check if the user is authorized to extract data. Check SAP notes 672514 & 397208. Also find my previous post on this.

If not Use this Marcro.
RP-IMP-C2-IN.
Call this macro and check EPF[ ].This marco will populate both RT and EPF.
Check transaction - PC00_M40_ EPF

The RT (results table) will give you the payroll results for one specific run of payroll. It includes all wage types that were processed during the payroll run. The CRT (cumulated results table) contains payroll results only for cumulated wage types that have been processed in payroll runs so far for the year. It contains month-to-date, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date totals for those wage types. Not all wage types found in the RT will be available in the CRT. You will have to check the configuration for a specific wage type to determine if it is available in both
You can check all RT WT in PC00_Mxx_CWTR where "xx" is youre molga. Also, you can check RT, CRT and other payroll results in PC_Payresult.
Report RPCEDTx0 prints out payroll results (x=country indicators).

What is the Business Content Extractor for HRP1000-OBJID ?????

R/3 in to BW. The table name is HRP1000 (Info Type 1000 DB Table).
    What is the Business Content Extractor for these fields, please ?

If an employee changes Company code,how his YTD cumulations in CRT table calculates as per SAP Standards ?

Please help me out in understanding below scenario.
If an employee changes from one company code to another code, how his/her YTD cumulates in CRT table as per SAP Standards.
Let me go with example to make a clear understanding.
Ex : Payroll has run for an employee upto payperiod 05. As per his pay assume that his /101 is 5000.
                         Monthly                  Yearly
PP 1      :           5000                       5000
PP 2      :           5000                      10000
PP 3      :           5000                      15000
PP 4      :           5000                      20000
PP 5      :           5000                      25000
In PP 6 he has shifted from one company code to another company code. Now, how the system cumulates as per SAP standards ?
PP 6       :           5000                        ?
Will the amount nullifies or else adds to previous PP5 ?

I understood the same. But my client is asking that the amount should nullify in CRT table for yearly when an employee changes company code.
And they have maintained different tax grouping for company codes in table v_t7ph0a. will that table makes any difference ?

Delta Enabled Business Content Extractors and Safety Intervals

Is there a transaction/table from where I can check the safety intervals of Business Content extractors for example 2LIS_13_VDITM. If I created a Z copy of an extractor is there a way of changing this value? Thanks

There are two fundamentally different extractor types:
1. Que, which is updated at time of transaction
2. Delta based on incremental field on transaction
LIS extractors are type 1 and CO extractors and generic data sources are type 2.
Type 1 is more advanced as it handles the change directly. Type 1 handles complex data scenarios where type 2 is better for simple scenarios. Learn more i BW350
