HR - SRM Replication CP Error

Hi experts,
We have configured HR - SRM replication but when we process PFAL we get an error from message class 5-, message number 107 (Relationship starting from 01CP00154460 impossible - 01BP3000033105 does not exist/is not active). In every process generally CP is created only once and other CP creations fail but when we process the same IDOC from WE19, at every process, 1 more CP is created and the rest gives the same error. Does anybody have any idea about this error and how to solve this?

Vendor Master Replication-getting error message

Dear SRM Gurus,
Currently I am using SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0. I am trying to replicate the vendors from ECC system using BBPGETVD for initial download.
I am getting the error message "*_All backend descriptions are already assinged in the system".*_
I checked in SLG1 tcode even i couldn't find any log entry.
I created root orgnisational unit using ppocv_bbp and same object id i am using for replication.
I am not sure but i believe i have maintained all the necssary settings.
Can you please give me the solution.

I maintained below settings for number ranges in both the systems.
In ECC:
Spro->Logistics general->Busines partner->vendors->define number range for vendor master records
No   From number   To number      Current         Ext
01   0001000001     0001999999     1004422
In SRM:
SPRO-> supplier relationship management->srm server->cross application components->number ranges- Define Number Ranges for Vendor List
No   From number   To number      Current         Ext
01   0001000001 0001999999     1004422
Should I check u2018EXTu201D checkbox in any of the system.
Please check above settings and please guide me.

SRM MDM Installation error :MDM Console Install.exe-Bad Image

Hi,
I have installed SRM 5.5 and need to install SRM MDM, but when i am trying to execute MDMConsole Install from GUI _CLIENTS folder getting below error.
:MDM Console Install.exe-Bad Image
The application or DLL C :\windows\~GLC0000.TMP is not a valid windows Image, Please check this against your installation deskette
I tried to execute other installables also getting same error
Please advice is something is missing

Go to SE11, Menu->Utilities->Database Object->Check
            Menu->Utilities->Runtime Object->Check
If there are inconsistency, please follow note 211492 to adjust the inc
onsistency in original instance . But if these tables are obsolete,
for example doesn't exist in the system any more, you could also choose the option to 'Ignore' the error and
continue with the upgrade. But this is a BC-UPG issue.

SRM PO Changes Error Status - Error in Process (SRM 4.0 and ECC 5.0)

Hi All,
I created PO in SRM from Sourcing (Shopping Cart) and it is replicated to Back End (ECC 5.0). But I did not post GR or Invoice Verication with reference to PO.
When I am trying to change PO in SRM (SRM Webbrowser - Processing PO) like Quantity, I am receiving the PO status as Error in Process.
Please let me know do I need to configure anything for this issue or need to implement OSS Note/BADI.

When we try to post purchase order acknowledge / response to EBP ( SRM 3.0 ) from XI, we are getting the following error. Please suggest how can we overcome this issue.

Able to send the IDOC file to EBP system successfully. We are unable to process the inbound ORDRSP Idoc in EBP, but we are getting the following error message.
Error : Status - 50 : Status set to 50 during IDOC inbound processing ( IDOC Added )
Please how to overcome this issue or provide me the valid approch to overcome this issue.

Hi Giri,
you made a mistake in your target format.
ORDERS05/ORDRSP Idoc type is used in R/3, not in SRM.
Depending on your scenario (PO in SRM or in R/3), you will send back the PO Response to SRM or R/3.
- in R/3 use IDOC ORDRSP
- in SRM use FM BBP_BC_POACKNOWLEDGMENT_ADD or similar (Look at provided SRM XI content, you will find the correct entry point in SRM.)

SRM Confirmation IDOC errors - Not appearing in Application Monitor

We receive Shipping confirmations from vendors in XML format to our Business Connector and then the IDOC gets created in SRM. Some of the IDOCs are failing due to validation errors with data in confirmation. (For example the item level shipping count doesn't match whats on PO). When the failures ocur like this, the errors getting written to Administrators Inbox. All IDOCS succesfully processed in SRM in turn will go through normal confirmation scenario (Creating IDOCs in R/3).
Is there a way to get them into EBP Application Monitor? Please let me know.

Hi,
You may not get ORA-4030 in the Alert log as it for system level resource issue, so it should appear at run time for new processes trying to create new processes and are requesting memory. The existing running database processes does not get impacted when they already have memory allocated.

Not all ORA errors reported on alert.log file. Some of the ORA errors are reported only on client side. This error will be reported on alert.log if any of the oracle server processes is not able to allocate memory.

SRM PO Status "Error in Process"

SRM 3.0 Extended classic scenario
EBP Purchase order goes in to Status "Error in process" after making some ammendments.
Getting following error
1) EEP\Business to Business Procurement(100)\...\Purchase Order\Backend application errors
2)Business to Business Procurement(100) Purchase Order Backend application errors ACTIVE PurchOrder xxxxxxxxxx: Please specify a valid account assignment
3) Business to Business Procurement(100) Purchase Order Backend application errors ACTIVE Purchase order xxxxxxxxx: Instance xxxxxxxxx of object type PurchaseOrder c ould not be changed
Can you please suggest what are the setting i need to check, actuallly the changes is not reflecting in to backend.

SRM Catalog Transfer Error

We have just finished installing SRM 7.0 ABAP (AIX/Oracle/NW 7.0 EhP 1) on one server, SRM 7.0 Java (same config) and SRM-MDM (3.0) on another server.
The servers talk fine. We're using ABAP for UME, we've done all of the configuration in the SRM-MDM catalog config guide and the SRM config guide.
We have a test user, set up to be able to see the catalog and shop. When logged in as this test user, we go to Employee Self-Service, Shop and click on a catalog to search. The catalog items are displayed on the screen.
When we try to transfer items to the shopping cart, we receive an error:
"Unit not transferred and cannot be determined
Incomplete items in catalog. Only complete items were transferred."
There is nothing in the J2EE logs, or MDM logs. No short dumps, nothing in the System log on the ABAP side.
Can anyone think of any place else to look?

Log into your MDM_SRM_UI_App, check your OCI setting and find out which field in MDM is mapped to you order unit. And check MDM catalog manager to find out whether or not you are sending this value.
If this check is fine, check the uom has a correct ISO code in SRM and the primary iso code check box is checked. I am sure the first check should solve your problem

SRM-MDM catalog error - shopping cart preview

Hi,
I am experiencing the following error in my SRM-MDM (ver 2) catalogue:
When I select an item from the catalogue, it displays that there is 1 item in the shopping cart.
But when I click on the Shopping Cart Preview button, it duplicates the item and doubles the total value??

Can any one explain about the error "Please buy (PR Number) to exist" which is not allowing to create follow-on documents although PR and PO are created in backend. We are following the Classic scenario.

Please proceed by this way
With transaction BBP_PD in SRM(GUI) enter the SC no. as the object id, navigate to each SC item detail in backend item data, table BBP_PDBEI, you will find the reference to the object type & ID that SRM tried to create in R/3: tell me what's there
check if the corresponding document exists in R/3
if yes, then you have to re-create manually the corresponding entry in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB, to let the job CLEAN_REQREQ_UP finalize the process (look how other entries are populated, or look at note 532213)
If not, then you must retransfer the SC: use BBP_PD_SC_RESUBMIT, but in the field OBJECTKEY, you will put the backend object ID you got from table BBP_PDBEI (PO or PR ID). This will retry to create the backend doc, and then create an entry in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB, ready for CLEAN_REQREQ_UP.

SQL Server 2005 - Possible Replication Related Error

hey all,
I was setting up a replication job on a server. I was setting up the publisher end. I used the wizard to create a scheduled job to do a snapshot of one of our databases.
I completed the wizard and clicked Finish. The progress window appeared and it appeared to get hung on step one of the process (Adding articles). I killed the job via Task Manager. This was at 2:11 pm.
At about 3:30 pm, the server started to become very slow. I brought up Performance Monitor and the Pages/sec was maxed out. CPU usage was at 11%. Memory consumption was at about 50% of total memory.
The issue did not clear up and we had to bring the server down and restart it to clear up the issue. This was at 4:00pm.
Looking at the error logs, there is a warning for stopping the replication publisher job and removing it. Then there is an error message regarding a "deactivated schedule 41". Then errors from bringing the server down.
I'm wondering if it is possible for the replication publisher job that I killed to have kept running in the background gobbling up resources. I've done a search of the internet and several forums and I've found nothing conclusive.

It is probable that there is an open transaction you will need to kill. Issue a call to dbcc opentran in your publication database and evaluate any open spids to see if you can kill them.

Change Pointer RBDMIDOC in SRM Replication

Hi Experts ,
We have ECC 6.04 with SRM7.0. We replicated HR Org Structure from ECC to SRM.
Out of 10000 Employee , only 2000 Employee will sue SRM, So I wish to replicate only 1500 Employee as initial upload from ECC by eopy paste from EXCEL in PFAL selection screen. That is okay.
For changes & Delta , I will schedule Chnage Pointer RBDMIDOC in SRM.
1) My doubt is exatly what this Change Pointer will replicate to SRM (with matching to Filter setting ).... out of below ?
1. Changes to already replicated Employees in SRM
2. New created Employees after initial replication
3. Remainning Employees in initial replication as well ( i.e. 13000 )?
Is all these 3 cases will replicate to SRM ?
2) In case of change of one field value, will system send only that Value in IDoC or all the date of Employee again ?

These are the steps for change pointer :
1. BD61 :Activate change pointer generally .
2. BD50 :Activate change pointer for message type.
3. BD21 :Create IDOC type from change pointers.
4.Save the content : create a variant .
5.For automatically process:go to SM36 :Create a job with the program "RBDMIDOC " and the variant you created.

SRM RFC Model Error in Webdynpro JAVA

Hi All,
When I create a model from Any R/3 RFC in Webdynpro(JAVA) and map the RFC model context to Controller Context then every thing works fine, but when I create model from SRM RFC(Model is created with no problems at all) and map the SRM Model context to Controller Context, then I get below error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.TypeNotFoundException: type com.cnsl.srm.model.types.Bbp_Category_Id could not be loaded: com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: Type com.cnsl.srm.model.types.Bbp_Category_Id does not exist
Is there any thing specific to SRM that we have to do on the Webdynpro(JAVA) side to be able to call the SRM RFC. Kindly suggest me. Also please if you can forward me to forum thread/blog in case there is any.
