How the HR tables structure are different from other SAP tables in BW data extraction perspective.

The 1st and great difference is the time dependency of HR 'Infotype' and so when you load master data, it is in great part time dependent!

LSMW Field Mapping: can't map Batch Input Structure for Session Data

In step 5 Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules, I can not see Batch Input Structure for Session Data Fields.
Can somebody tell what's wrong?

To see structure BGR00 you have to map this structure first with input file structure in step 4 (maintain structure relationship).

Physical Tables Structure for HR OM Tables

Hi ,
I am having one query.We have Organization Object(O),
Position (S) and Job (c).
These all go in Logical Tables.For Ex. T527X for OU.
I want to get the Physical table structure where these Tables and objects are stored and want to know about their Relationship, Mean Physical Relationship Table .
Anyone if found the Physical Database structure with Diagram having Relationship Table ,please Post ?

SAP HR has the capability to store any objects and any other relevant integration items on both OM side as well as PA side. This was done to provide the capability to implement OM and PA separately if necessary (even though it is rarely done that way). The tables that you were referring to HRP1000 is the table on the OM side where as T527X is on the PA side.
When integration is turned on, the tables are kept in sync automatically. If you are turning on the integration for the first time, then the reports RHINTE** are used to populate the corresponding tables on the other side. Ex: RHINTE10 will copy the org unit data from HRP1000 to T527X.
Here are the tables for the other objects on the PA side.
Job T513, T513S
Position T528B, T528T
Org.unit T527X .
The tables in most cases are defined as transparent (not pooled or cluster), so there is a physical table in the database so the structure matches.

Need help for SRM Data Extraction into BI-7

Hi Experts,
I am looking for help regarding SRM DataSource Extraction to BW. I am working on BW project and need to extract data from SRM Data Source 0BBP_TD_CONTR_2 and 0SRM_TD_PRO. I need to know about the extraction process from SRM. Is there a tool available like LO Cockpit in SRM for extraction and how can we manage the delta in it. Or i can use the T-code RSA5 for that and follow the normal process. If I can get some documentation that can give me an idea for data extraction and delta management in SRM that would be appreciated. Any kind of help will be welcome.

SRM doesn't use kind of "cockpit" LO-like in ECC.

You could define a data structure to represent one Vertex/Edge-List pair. But then, maybe you don't need to work with vertices so much as Edges? Then you could define a data structure to represent a Vertex, then another to represent an Edge, which would be two vertices. And you might want to think of your "main" Graph as a single entitity, in which case you will need a field to show what fragment this vertex (or edge) belongs to. But then it might make more sense to have seperate data structures for all fragments in which case you wouldn't.
Too many open questions. What, exactly, do you want to do with this thing?

How Bex flageffects internally effects the SID table entries for Master Dat

I do understand how the Bex flag setting works in relation to reporting like y we set the flag or y we dont set the flag when we do reporting or not on ODS.. <b>My question here is, i dont understand, how the SID tables or the master data tables or ODS tables get effected with this flag. Can some one explain me what kind of changes in the tables takes place with this flag setting and how it is used in the reporting..</b> How this thing is different with respect to Cube reporting process.. I do understand that ODS doesnt have Dimensions.. so i am just looking for conceptual clarification and not any forum links related to the Bex falg.. i have already gone through many links in the forum, but they didnt help me to clarify this process at table level which i am looking for... ANy help will be highly appreciated in SDN way..

Thanks Durgesh but I have tried every master data test in RSRV. I think because these document number characteristics don't have master data tables most of the tests return a message that the test does not apply to the characteristic. These characteristics only have a sid table.

I have nearly 30 Master tables item, For easy management i created tables are like as follows

Is there any technical issues for creating master table structure like this.

   Please follow the below steps fro change pointers.
1.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG, transaction SALE), choose Modeling and Implementing ® Master Data Distribution ®Replication of Modified Data ® Activate Change Pointers ‑ Generally.
2.      Set the activation status Activate Change Pointers ‑ Generally, and save your entry (i.e BD61 Activate Change Pointers ).
3.      Choose the activity Activate Change Pointers for Message Types like ORDERS.
4.      Set the active indicator for the message type .
5.      Save your entries.

Data loading for Logistics Data Extraction 2LIS_06_INV through setup tables

Hi Guyz,
I have LO Datasource 2LIS_06_INV which I am using for extracting Invoice Verification Data.
I had intialized and loaded invoice data in BI system and was using chais to load daily.
Now I want to load data again from scratch from source system.
As of now I know we need to delete and fill up setup tables in source system keeping the users locked so that no new records are created that particular moment.
But what about the delta queue and extraction queues.
Do I need to do something over there because as I understand there will be records in both of them so before filling the setup tables I need to delete both the queues and then fill the setup tables so that duplicate records should be avoided.
Please let me know what exactly should I do in detail.

hi,
this entirely depends upon the DS, if the DS delta type supports overwrite mode then you need not lock the users, you can start the setup job without deleting the delta queues as well coz even if the record is extracted twice the values won't mess up as the flow will be in overwrite mode. If delta type of DS is Additive in table ROOSOURCE then you need to lock down the users or run the job over a weekend when no users are logged in.

Creation of SO based on the input in table format for bulk data : urgent

Hi,
The data from an external system will be sent to SAP in a bulk format and also as a Table. i.e. they are going to send around 30 Purchase orders from external system . I need to fetch all of them at a time and create SO for each one .
Hence, anyone please provide a work around for the same.

Proceed as below:
1. Identify the file layout like how it is going to be for multiple items.
2. Upload the data to an internal table:
3. Loop at internal table
4. Populate the data required for BAPI structures
5. AT END of PO number call a BAPI to create a Sales Order.
Make sure you are clearing/refreshing the structures/internal tables for BAPI.
