HR TEM - replaced attendee as cancellation.

Hi Experts,
We are on SAP 4.7 and when ever we replace an attendee on the Business Event the replaced attendee is not recorded anywhere except in HRPAD25 as the Previous Object ID.
Now the requirement is Whwn ever we replace an attendee then that Replaced attendee should be visible in the cancellations list of the Business Events in short that attendde should be recorded as the cancelled attendee ( relationship A040).
I've checked all the SPRO settings and found nothing, i've also searched the forums but in vain.
Do we have any standard way to achieve this requirement?
Appreciate any suggestions/advice/comments.
Regards,
Gurdip

Hi Gurdip,
You will notice that the trigger in table T77FLC is based on infotypes and subtypes. This means cancellation would fall under subtype 040. You might want to consider developing a bespoke notification abbreviation in table T77FL with the logic that you require.

Priya.

  • HR TEM - replace Attendee in the background

    Hi Experts,
    We are on SAP 4.7.
We have a requirement to automate the Replace Attendee process(T code PV03) in TEM.
I need to ask, if there is any standard function module or BAPI like we have for Booking  (BAPI_BOOK_ATTENDANCE) and for pre booking (BAPI_PREBOOK_ATTENDANCE) ?
i've checked the function Module RH_PARTICIPATION_REPLACE but it requires screen input and works in foreground.
If any one has any idea abou the function module or any other way to achieve this, the suggestion is highly appreciated.
    Appreciate your help!

  • How to identify replaced attendee?

    Hi All
In SAP HR TEM sub-module, I have a scenario wherein an email notification is sent to the attendee who is replacing but not for the one who gets replaced.
My requirement is that an email needs to be sent for both the attendees(one who is replacing[here email is sent] and one gets replaced[email is not sent]).Is this something SAP standard? Or
Is there any configuration that I can do in order to fix this?
Is there any way to identify a replaced attendee?
    Appreciate your help.
    Kind regards,
    Gurdip Singh

    Hi Gurdip,
The replaced ID of previous participant is stored in HRPAD25.
Using PP01, once you have replaced a delegate on the course, find the corresponding 025 Is participated in by relationship, click on the Additional Data button within the screen. Against field Related object you will find the pernr or objid (in the case of external person).
If you want to find it through the tables, then in HRP1001 find the 025 relationship between P (replaced pernr) and E. Read the value in field ADATANR. Use this value in table HRPAD25 to get the pervious number in field PREVSOBID.

  • TEM: when attendee is in Waiting list status, workflow should triger notifi

    Dear Professionals,
In TEM, we have a scenario where, if an employee/attendee has booked for an event and in waiting list status, when his waiting list status changes to normal booking (bacause of the cancellations in normal booked) a notification mail should be triger to the manager.
We have identified tables related to attendee status and need help/suggestion on: how this can be designed/achieved in workflow?
what are the workflow tasks standard can be used?
what are the workflow containers required and what parameters need to be passed from workflow container to task container?

    Hi
First you need to determine the object type and the event associated with this requirement. In order to trace that, switch on the event trace using SWELS and then change the status to the normal book and come back in t-code SWEL to find out the event.
Once you determine that , then you can create a workflow using the above event as the Triggering event. Looking at the object type you can determine the various attributes which can be passed from the object to Workflow Container.
In case, if you didnt find the standard object and event for this scenario then developers can create an object type and event for this scenario and from there workflow can be initiated.

  • WorkFlow Issues: Appending (not replace) Attendee Field in Calendar List and Email Variables (including .ICS file link)

Kind of new to attempting any custom development in SharePoint.  Working with 2013 and have the 2013 Workflow Farm setup/working.  I am trying to have a calendar that users can register to appointments via custom list.  I
have the list that pulls the title into its  own "Event" field as a lookup.  Also have a workflow on the calendar that adds the current user as an attendee and made that field "not required".  I'm trying to accomplish this:
    1) Have the Custom List update the Calendar list attendee field with the username. Currently it wipes out what is there and replaces with the "Created By" name. Tried to set a variable that would put the current attendees in a string
and just add the current user, then use that variable to update the attendee field.  No luck.  Ultimately if I can understand this enough and get fancy enough, I'd setup a workflow  that can have someone delete their own registration item in
the custom list and remove only their own name from Attendees...
    2)  Have a workflow kick off an email that sends the registrant the calendar details. Have tried to pipe in variables to get the ICS file (some variation of this )
If I put the List ID in brackets I get an error about having that and variables in the same code for an email workflow.  In any event I can't really get the email workflow to give any kind of nice piped in values the best looked like this and had
the wrong date: You registered for  {"results":[{"Id":22,"Value":"Test Event 8"}]} on 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM

    Hi Jason,
seems your requirement a bit complex, we forum team may have limited resource regarding this issue.
you may consider to use infopath for example from this 3rd party article:
    http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/programmatically-add-item-sharepoint-calendar-infopath.htm
    or for general example:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/infopath-help/customize-a-sharepoint-list-form-HA101821257.aspx
the article is to add an item to your calendar list, so then you may need to do wipe or other procedures, by infopath you may add the data as
    you need.
if should infopath feature may not be possible to use in your environment, i may need to suggest you to open an advisory case to us, by contacting our representative,
    https://support.microsoft.com/

  • Open/create/replace file.vi cancel pb

in the windows dialog box I have two options for example open and cancel if my choice is cancel it want to read a file or cancel if my choice is cancel it stop the vi with an error. How can i change the first cancel in a real cancel? Thank you

It's simple enough to modify the VI any way you want. The cancelled output is wired to a case statement that sets the error status Boolean to True and generates error code 43. You can remove the write to the error cluster. The other way to do it is to trap error code 43 in your main VI by just doing a comparison and clear it or do whatever other action you might want to take. If you do modify the VI, make sure to save it with a new name and in a new location.

  • Why is there 2 cancel buttons in MOPZ?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the answers.
In MOPZ down below when I go to download files, I can see two cancel buttons. Is there any issues with my setup or SAP has given an extra CANCEL button free ?
    Thank you, KL

    Hello,
To correct this error, you must manually change the translation in your system.
To do this, proceed as follows:
    1. Call transaction SE63 (Standard Translation Environment)
    2. Select: Translation -> ABAP Objects -> Short Texts
    3. Select object type S3 ABAP Texts -> REPT Text Element
    4. Enter "/TMWFLOW/CL_MO_HTML_REQUEST" as the object name
    5. Select the Source Language "deDE" German DE, and the appropriate Target Language (for example, "enUS" English US)
    6. Click Edit
    7. Find TEXT   WID , with the German text "Zurückziehen"
    8. Replace the translation "Cancel" with "Withdraw"
    9. Save your changes
I am sure this will help you

  • Complete apple customer service incompetence

Well, I'm not sure where to post a statement like this but here goes...
At the beginning of September, I had ordered a new 15 inch macbook pro from apple with the quicker hardrive, which proceeded to arrive within the the next week (good job there). The problem came when the trackpad and keyboard started to sporadically cease responding (while external keyboards and mice would function just fine). Eventually they stopped working all together. This was within the first week of owning the computer. After taking it to the nearest apple authorized dealer/repair shop, the computer was diagnosed with an extremely rare bug/flaw. Apple decided to take the computer back and do an exchange. The problem was, in order to send the computer back, I still had to wait for the special fedex shipping labels from them to arrive. After about a week the labels had not yet arrived, so apple gave me the special numbers without the label to get the computer shipped out any way. After the computer started its trip, Apple, given the tracking numbers was going to expedite the replacement to get things done as quick as possible. Its now October first, a month later, and I still have no Macbook Pro (which was going to be my college computer). Now it turns out someone at Apple customer service screwed up and cancelled sending out the replacement upon also canceling the labels that wouldn't be needed. So now the new computer was supposedly given the order to get sent out today, how long will it take this time? By the way, those labels arrived just last week. So now they obviously have the messed up computer, and my money, but I still don't have anything (except $50 dollars put back on the credit card). When does this start getting called theft?
I love Apple products, I've been using them my whole life, but this is the worst case of incompetence in the case of customer service that I've ever seen.

check out my posts about the same issue in the macbook section. I ended up going to a macbook pro. feel free to email me for some serious comments!

  • Need to Immediately Deactivate a Skype Number

I purchased a Skype number that turns out to have been previously owned by a scam operation and is still receiving calls.  I alreaday purchased a second Skype number to replace it, and canceled the first number.
The problem is that the first number is still active until the end of the subscription in 2015.
How can I deactivate this number immediately?   I don't expect a refund, I just want it to go away  now.    I really don't want to shut down the entire Skype account and lose my Skype name just to deactivate a phone number.

Hi, Kevin, and welcome to the Community,
Skype needs to be alerted - and due to the nature of the number being abused, I would request a refund!  Here is a link to the instruction on how to request a refund: request a refund
Better yet, here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
Here are a few extra notes to help you find your way:
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. When you complete the webform and click Submit, your information is relayed to Skype and you will receive a reply via e-mail.
If you are a Skype Premium or other eligible customer, you will be routed to start an instant message chat session with a Customer Service agent.
    Regards,
    Elaine

  • Choose file name in Snow Leopard

In Leopard, when I run the StandardAdditions command *choose file name* and I click on an existing file listed in the resulting *Choose File Name* dialog, the +entire file name including file extension+ is placed into the *Save As:* text box, and that is what is returned when I click the Save button.
In Snow Leopard, when I do the same, only the file’s +base name+ is placed into the text box, and only the +base name+ is returned.
    I need the Leopard behaviour.

Appending a filename to the returned result is rather trivial
Trivial? Consider, in Leopard and before:
      |    set f *to choose file name*
      |    +(* At this point, f is a file specifier and exactly one of the following is true:+
      |          +• the file specified by f does not exist; or+
      |          +• the user wants to overwrite the file.+
      |     +And the file specified by f is exactly what the user chose. *)+
That’s one line. Compare that to Snow Leopard:
      |     property FileNameExtension : ".pdf"
      |
      |     repeat
      |           set f to +POSIX file+ ((POSIX path of ( *choose file name* )) & FileNameExtension)
      |           try
      |                 alias f
      |           *on error* number -1728 +-- can’t get reference; i.e. file does not exist+
      |                 *exit repeat*
      |           *end try*
      |           try
      |                 tell application "System Events" *to get the* name *of the* result
      |                 *display alert* "“" & the result & "” already exists. Do you want to replace it?" ¬
      |                       message "A file or folder with the same name already exists. " & ¬
      |                             "Replacing it will overwrite its current contents." ¬
      |                       as warning ¬
      |                       buttons {"Cancel", "Replace"} ¬
      |                       default button "Cancel" ¬
      |                       cancel button "Cancel"
      |                 if button returned *of the* result is "Replace" *then exit repeat*
      |           *on error* number -128 +-- User cancelled+
      |                 +-- ask again+
      |           *end try*
      |     *end repeat*
      |
      |     f
      |     +(* At this point, f is a file specifier and exactly one of the following is true:+
      |           +• the file specified by f does not exist; or+
      |           +• the user wants to overwrite the file.+
      |     +But the script has had to force a file name extension on the user,+
      |           +so the file specified by f is not actually what the user chose. *)+
You might do it differently as a matter of style, but you can’t do it simpler and you can’t do it shorter.
(Rant: do you have any idea how much fiddling it took me to come up with
      |           set f to +POSIX file+ ((POSIX path of ( …

Perhaps you should file a bug report/feature request, however you see it at [http://bugreport.apple.com>.
    I’ll do that tomorrow.
