HR-TM: Two Holiday Calendars That Have Different Non-working Days?

Dear All,
Please help me on the predicament below:
I need to create two holiday calendars.
Holiday Calendar 1 will have Saturday and Sunday as non-working days.
Holiday Calendar 2 will have Friday and Saturday as non-working days.
And both holiday calendars are used in the same country.
Then, there is one holiday which is assigned to both holiday calendars such as New Year Day.
How can I configure so that
1) if New Year Day falls on the first non-working day of each week of each holiday calendar, the holiday will be moved to the previous day?
2) if New Year Day falls on the second non-working day of each week of each holiday calendar, the holiday will be moved to the following day?
Should I create two lines of data for New Year Day so that each of them assigned to different holiday calendar?
Or I can just use one New Year Day in both holiday calendars?

I've got my answer.
First calendar, i use fixed date and floating date for the public holiday based on the real situation.
Second calendar, i use floating date for all the public holiday, then set the date every year once.

    You can't use family sharing or multiple Apple IDs with iTunes match.
    ITunes match is only attached to Apple id that you used to subscribe.

    How to Apply adjustment layers to multiple layers that have different blending modes  and keep the colours the same as the adjusment done?
    I work in Animation painting Backgrounds.  My files are sometimes upwards to 200+ layers.
    I will use adjustment layers to quickly balance colours and constrast on top of those many many layers.
    The only way that I know of how to apply adjustment layers it to every single layer  ( by applying I mean I need to get rid of the adjustment layers because we cant use them in production but i need the new colours be applied to all layers underneath ) in a psd is to manually do it By duplicating the adjusment layer 200+ times and  then merging each layer to one of those adjustment layers so that that layer can take the adjustment layers effect permanently.
    The issue is that Within Those 200 layers I have some layers set to Multiply or OVERLAY.    IT obviously wont apply the adjustment layer properly to those layers because those layer blend mode affect the layers under them. The colour wont be the same anymore in the spots that had the multiply blended mode.

    I have 2 adjustment layers up top.  I need to get rid of them by applying them to each layer! I cannot merge any of the layers. We need all those layers for production.
    I can apply the adjustment layers manually and this works GREAT for all Layers set to normal.  THey take on the colour change just FINE.
    However, The issue is that layer 6 and layer 4 are both set to mutiply and this screws up the colour once i apply the adjustment layers to each layer manually...
    How can i apply my adjustment layers to a file like this with some layers being set to multiply while keeping the layers exactly the same configuration  and The new colour taking efffect exactly how i looks before i apply the adjustment layers?
    Now the simple solution is to merge the multiply layers to the layer that it affects HOWEVER I NEED those multiply layers to be seperate! 
    I'm assuming what I want to do is impossible? Hope this isnt confusing.  As far as i know its impossible to do what I want it to do.  but just wanted to ask and see.
    I would REALLY REALLY love to talk to a adobe programmer/ technician/pro working at adobe about this.  Theres just no way to get in touch with anyone... =(

    Sure... if you want to put it that way. Either way its not the desirable outcome. 
    its just frustrating that theres no way to apply adjustment layers to hundreds of layers while keeping them in the same configuration ( blendmodes,  layer order ,  without merging)  while keeping the same end result.
    works great if all your layers are set to normal though..    But I really need to keep shadow layers seperately and be able to adjust on the fly aswell as apply those adjusment to all my layers.
    I suppose that just isnt possible.   I understand the math required for this would be tremendous/ complicated if something like this would ever be implemented.  Would be nice if adobe could come up with some solution to this.  Its really a huge issue in my work flow and theres no alternatives.    How else can I adjust colours to 100+ layers  with a few clicks that lets me play around the the adjustment until im happy with the outcome.    Really wish i could adjust and the quickly apply that adjustment to all my layers regardless of blend mode.   LIke If the Layers with blendmode could somehow take the properties of the adjustment layer and keep adjusting those layers undereathe on top of that blended mode that its doing...

  • Editing Working Days/Non Working Days in the base Project Calendar PWA

    Hello Experts,
    I am attempting to edit working days/non working days in the base project calendar PWA 13. I receive an error message when I attempt to open the base project schedule.
    I click the "edit" button under "Enterprise Calendars" page.  The error message states:
    "This Project Web App feature requires at least Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0"  (using Chrome)
    Attempting to Opening PWA in I.E. I receive a different error message stating that I need Project Professional installed on my computer and it cannot find the current project.  
    I have Admin rights, I have project pro, and Im able to access any project or function using PWA and Project Pro. Can you tell me what I am missing (detailed steps--kinda new to PWA)

    If you allow me to jump in, I'd advice you to first open MS Project Pro and then try again.
    Also check that your MS Project Pro URL account do not finish with /default.aspx.
    Finally ensure that your PWA URL is in the trusted site and eventually add it to the compatibility sites.

  • Factory Calendar to prevent delivery on a non-working day

    Hi Guys,
    You may have already come across this problem and hence requesting your inputs on the same.
    I'm able to create a delivery for a sales order on a week-end even though they happen to be 'non-working days' in my Factory Calendar. I have gone through the search forum and the 2 things that most of them said was to attach the Factory Calendar (having Sat and Sun as non-working days) to the Plant and Shipping Point, which I have already done, inspite of which I'm able to create a delivery for a schedule line date which falls on a non-working day.
    My business scenario requires that even though a Sales Order may be created on a non-working day, the delivery should only be possible on the next working day, even if stock is available on those non-working days.
    Your thoughts/suggestions/ideas would be useful.

    Hi Shripad,
    In Customer Master, General Data , We have  Unloading Points  Option. There we can opt for the delivery to the cutomer.
    Then we can stop delivery for that day.
    Award points if it adds information.

  • Team Calendar non-working days

    Hi Gurus,
    Is there a way we can configure the team calendar to show non-working days for the employee (public holidays, days off in part-time/shift work-schedules) in green for example?
    I haven't seen any configuration options for this, but I would expect it to show them somehow!?  Will we need to do custom development for this?

    I didn't think the "10 points offer" was open to all.. ideally, it should be to Duxton only.. You could probably open a customer message in OSS & seek SAP's clarification on Team Calendar

  • Trying to join two views that have different column types

    I want to join view1 and view2 on region and city int columns. Need to break apart View1 varchar field into two Int fields and replace any non-numeric values with zeros.
    View1 has a single Region_City field that is VARCHAR. the last record is erroneous. the individual values for Region and City should always be Int.

    I want to create two new individual columns in view1 that will have Region and City each as a Int. And for any Region_city that is invalid numeric just use zeros in Region and City.
    I currently have this (in house ParseDelimited sproc), but am having trouble with the invalid numeric values (XXAA-EEE)

    This is a way to do it, by no means the only way, but a way.  (The other way to achieve this would work fine, but would require functions inside functions inside other functions, including repeating at the very least "Patindex('-', RegionCity)"
    a few times.  In this situation, the APPLY statement comes in handy by making it a little easier to read.

    You didn't mention how bad the source data might be, how unpredictable it might be, whether it's always coded exactly as listed.  This way is reasonably flexible.
    EDIT: I used "IsNumeric" in this example.  It's quite an imperfect function, often best avoided, but I used here just because it's probably OK in this example.  
    This is probably better:  "Case When PatIndex('%[^0123456789]%', CityCode) = 0 Then CityCode else 0 End"

  • Identify InfoObjects that have a non-7-bit-US-ASCII character in key

    we plan to do a Unicode migration with our BW. SAP recommends, that in order to prevent problems during data extraction all keys of the characteristic InfoObjects should only contain 7-bit-US-ASCII characters.
    But we have manually (by hazard) identified some master data records that contain some non-7-bit-US-ASCII characters (like for example "Ö" or "Ä").
    We'd now like to check ALL characteristic InfoObjects regarding this issue.
    Does anybody know about an ABAP-Report that would ease that task? Generally spoken, the programm should walk through the list of all characteristic InfoObjects and check for each one the master data table for "bad" keys (i. e. keys that contain a non-7-bit-US-ASCII character).

    The tricky part with this is that Move-Item won't create missing folders, which you need if you want to maintain the folder structure, so you'll need to create those manually. This should do what you need.

    Is there a way to configure the Calendar selection, duration calculations, and notification dates in the system to only include working days (i.e. holidays and weekends are not counted and not available for selection)? This is particlular for Purchasing and Sourcing Modules.

    You can do the change through group policy preferences, or some other method you prefer (ConfigMgr compliance settings for example).

  • Working Day - Is there a table in the DW that stores non-working days?

    Scenario
    I need to query the previous or next working using W_DAY_D to compute certain daily statistics. At the moment I can use W_DAY_D and exclude DAY_NAMES like weekends. However I cannot use it for say Bank Holidays.
    Is there any table in the DW that stores the working days or to put the other way the holidays? Are there any flags on that table that would suggest the day is a working day?

    You will need to extend your W_DAY_D for that and load it according to your "working days" logic (i.e. including bank holidays etc.).
    Each row will need new foreign keys like "PREV_WRK_DAY_WID" and "NXT_WRK_DAY_WID". With those you can then join in new time dim aliases which will yield the results you're looking for. Basically the old Siebel Analytics approach before the integrated time series calculations.
