HRFORMS Workplace Infotype 0008 in generated print program

Hi folks
We have a problem with generated print programs for time sheets. Generated by the HRFORMS workplace.
Even when the workplace generate the printprogram for the SmartForm, accordingly a code line is generated as the 1st in the PrintProg.
INFOTYPES: 0000, 0001, 0008.
The comment tells us that this will be necessarily for authority checks on the LDB for pay roll.
Due to company restrictions we don't want to give key users the authorization for info type 0008.
Has anybody an idea what's to do to eliminate the info type 0008 from the printprogram w/o a modification.
We would appreciate for any help to this subject, kindly.

can you let me know for which country  are you trying to generate the HR form for payslip?
There are certain countries for which payslip isnt supported.
For such countries you get a similar error.

    Hi Gurus,
    I am trying to activate a copied HR FORM, using HRFORMS transaction. I get following error whenever I try to activate.
    Generated print program contains a syntax error
    Message no. HRFORMS011
    Diagnosis
    Generated print program /1PYXXFO/ZHRPY_BULLETIN_PRNT contains a syntax error in line 161 of include /1PYXXFO/ZHRPY_BULLETIN_PRNT.
    In this include SAP says that field P_IPVIEW is unknown
    I am unable to execute the form. Can someone help me on this?

    Hi K,
    Go through SAP Note 878168.
    You cannot fix this with an HR SP; use the database utility instead.
    Start transaction SE11 for view V_HRF_SELFIELDS and then go to Utilities
    -> Database Object -> Database Utility.
    After applying the note, please go trough the following steps to
    regenerate the forms:
    1) Start transaction HRFORMS
    2) Select menu Utilities - activate forms
    3) Input the names of your forms
    4) Press F8

    I have developed a HR FORM for printing the employee remuneration statement. In that, i have designed the layout using Adobe form and activated this form. But when i try to activate the HR FORM, it returns the following error.
    "Print program contains a syntax error."

  • Infotype 0008 - User Exit Validation

    Hi Gurus,
    I have to validate infotype 0008 amount fields  in PAI user exit ZXPADU02 .
    For a scenario, if the amounts are not equal  ( BET01 <> BET02) then  I have to geneate error message.
    Then the user is supposed to correct / re-enter  the amounts .
    The problem is , when I generate error message , the amount fields are grayed out.
    I think this is happeneing cause of standard SAP code (  in flow logic for program MP000800  ) .
    Is there any way to generate error message in the user exit and
    Give the users an option to update the amount correctly ??
    Core mod is the last option.

  • Unable to Generate Printed Documentation in PDF Format

    This past week I started having a consistent error when attempting to generate a Printed Documentation layout. This error reads "Internal error encountered,  Failed to generate Printed Documentation."  Prior Printed Documentation builds on this same project completed fine. Nothing was done to the Help project between the times when this worked and when it no longer was able to create Printed Documentation.
    I receive this error even if I generate an entirely new "blank project" build, and then attempt to create a Printed Documentation build from this new blank project.  Researching this error, I see this has been a reoccuring problem with this product for some time. The few threads that list the problem as having been "fixed" provide resolution steps that have not worked in my case. Right now I am waiting for our IT Helpdesk people to re-install the Suite. Hopefully this will resolve this problem.
    Additional information on this problem - PDF Printed Documentation is failing - the HTML build works fine. If I select just a .DOC Printed Documentation output, this also works correctly. The resulting Word document looks good, although hyperlinks do not work within this Word document. I have reloaded Office 2003 as a troubleshooting effort, but this has nbot resulted in any change in symptoms.
    The entire error text is enclosed below, although several other people have also done this in past entries. The few lines that read "Warning, and then report a style issue is NOT the problem here. As stated earlier, when I do this same Printed Documentation build on an entirely new "blank project" it does not work, and the Output text in that case does not contain any such "Warnings" about Styles.

    If I select ONLY the Word DOC Output format in the Printed Documentation
    setup, the output is created without an error (output text below).  Links do work within
    this Word document (a symptom change since installing patch 8.0.2).
    When I use this Word document to create a PDF (using the Adobe PDF
    printer driver) a PDF is successfully created, however no bookmarks are
    created in the bookmarks panel and none of the links in this PDF work
    (although they are created looking like they will work, i.e., blue
    underlined text).

  • Unable to generate printed documentation

    I am running RoboHelp 9 HTML using Microsoft Word 2010 on a Windows 7 machine.
    Whenever I try to generate printed documentation using a single source layout that is set up for generating either a .docx file or a .doc file the program hangs up after printing the output message "Processing Topics". This occurs with the simple "Test" sample provided by Adobe that contains only one topic as well as with a more complicated project.
    I read some posts that said things about anti-virus software that may affect RoboHelp. On my system the security department at my company has control of that, so I am not really sure what anti-virus software I have. When I look in my "All Programs" list under the "Start" menu, I do not see any anti-virus software programs except something called "System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection". I believe this is the anti-virus software that the security department uses, and there is an icon for it in my System Tray. Has anyone ever heard of issues involving that software and RoboHelp?
    Meanwhile any other insights any of you may have into this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    I found a smartform for the order confirmation.'/SMB40/SDORC_A'.I have searched the forums and found the print program to be the same.But we don't have it.We're on ECC 6.0Where can we download the program from?

    Hi John,
    He has given some FM that is generated by that form. But that FM will vary from system to system . So thats very very wrong.
    Some times smartforms will not be there in our system . You have to request your superiors to place the forms in place.

  • Triggering print program for shipment creation

    Hi All,
    I have created a new print output type 'ZEDF',which should ideally generate a spool at the time of saving the shipment. But unfortunately, this is not happening.Whenever I save a newly created shipment,this output type is not getting triggered,but when I repeat the same output type through VT02,a spool is generated automatically.I have maintained all the condition records properly in the system. Please help me on this.

    Have you checked the settings in NACE tcode?
    Pls check the same and amde the configuration according to your Device Type.. Pls have a look on below points.
    Hi,
    1. Goto in NACE
    2. You need to ask your functional buddy to let you know about Application area, I suppose u need to take EF.
    3. Select EF from the list and than click on Output Types, select any output type (Which you wud like to give to your script)
    4. Else if you like to create a new one for your script, then on same screen click on change button, then click on New Entries
    And give all the detailed info.
    5. To use existing output types, select a output type like "ZEDI", at the left hand side double click on Processing Routines.
    6. In the Processing Routines block , Give the Program name as print program and here you need to give your SAP scrip name in Form option.

    Fieldname : Any infotype field in IT0008 whose change has to trigget a mail
    FC: Choose function code 2 digits as required (press F1 on the field for further information)
    No: Enter a sequence number
    S: Choose M(Send Mail)
    Variable Function part : Trigger Feature name - Ex. M0001 (press F1 on the field for further information)

          If you are going for classic payment medium i think RFFOJP_T will fullfil your needs.
    if you going for DME,
    i think DME tree type for japan  is "WTRE" and tree is "DMEFILE_JAPAN".
    check this in t.code "DMEE".

  • Printing with FF 4.0 is slow and generated print files are huge

    I tried the RC and released versions of Firefox 4.0 and found the printer module(?) doesn't work as it did in version 3.x
    If I print to my laser printer it generates each page slowly (I'm guessing it turns it into graphics) or if I print to a PDF file instead of being a few hundred kilobytes in size, the files are megabytes long.
    Is there a way to make Firefox 4 print the way 3.x pronted? I downgraded to 3.6.16 and the problem went away. Other browsers also print normally.
    I'm on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.

    I am having the same problem with FF 4.01. I have two computers, both newer Dell laptops with Win 7 pro. Both have the same printer drivers installed, including Cute PDF which in particular is what I'm having the problem with. One computer prints to Cute PDF perfectly fine, giving a reasonably small file as a result (e.g. this page here is 187kb as a PDF). The other computer produces enormous files (this same page is 1.1mb!!!). Both computers have all the latest Windows updates. On the computer which is producing the large PDFs, I tried numerous other PDF printing programs including Adobe Acrobat 9. All of them produce large files. This only happens in FF - IE and Chrome produce reasonably-sized files. (Chrome, incidentally, has the smallest file size!)
    I love FF but I produce a lot of PDFs of a custom web application, and I can't do them in FF any more. *cough*Chromeworksbetterforthis*cough*
    If I find a solution, I'll post it here.

    I have the SAPscript form name. I need to find out the name of the print program.
    The table TNAPR gives the standard program name attached to the SAPscript.
    But, I need to find out the Z* program name associated with the SAPscript.

    Sapscripts are client dependend and smartforms are client independet.
    SAPscript are CLient Dependent, SmartForms are Client Independent. The reason why SmartForms are client independent is because when you activate a SMartForm, SAP actually generates a Function Module (which as you know is client independent). The Print Program (or as SAP likes to refer to them these days - Application Program) calls your generated FM.
    In the "smartforms" transaction, when you are viewing a smartform, you can go to the Environment->Function Module Name menu path to see the FM name.
    Look at the "Application Program" for the Invoice SmartForm (RLB_INVOICE):

    Difference with SMARTFORMS vs. SapScript (SE71)
    The Following are the differences :-
    a) Multiple page formats are possible in smartforms which is not the case in SAPScripts
    b) It is possible to have a smartform without a main window .
    c) Labels cannot be created in smartforms.
    d) Routines can be written in smartforms tool.
    e) Smartforms generates a function module when activated.

    f) Unlike sapscripts (RSTXSCRP), you cannot upload/download Smartform to your local harddisk.
    It was said that it was provided in CRM 3.0 version, but not available in R/3. You can download smartforms into Local PC in a XML format. In the same way you can upload this XML format into Smartform. From the smartform editor itself you can call download option, if you are working in CRM 3.0 environment.
    In R3 also, you can download into XML format. However, it's not sure about uploading. Refer to the program 'SF_XSF_DEMO'.
    In 4.7 Enterprise, other have seen this utlity which is completey missing in 4.6c. There is functionality to downlaod a complete form or only a particular node. (Utilities -> Download form). It will create a XML file and save it in the hard disk.
    For others, if you want to download/upload the Smartforms source, you will need the help from the Basis people. What you can do is to create a Transport and then FTP down to your local harddisk. When you need the Smartform source in another system, you have FTP up the Smartforms file back to the SAP server. Finally, the Basis team, will tp it into your system.
    g) The protect and endprotect command in sapscript doesn't work with smartforms. For example on a invoice: First data of position no 80. is printed on page one, other data of position no 80 is printed on page 2. And there's nothing you can do about it. Actually, there is something you can do about it. By using a folder node and checking the 'protect' checkbox, everything in that folder will be page protected.
    i) The main difference is that SAP script is client-dependant, while smartform is independent. Also there are some advanced and intreractive features available in smartforms.
    You can use an External subroutine-call in sapscript editor like:

  • F0273 - F110 - Printing program RFFOF__V - proposal run

    Hello,
    After changing document numbers ranges for company code BP01 in our
    development environment (duplicating fiscal year 2099 to 2011 and 2012,
    updating status of 2011 document number range to match current status of
    2099 fiscal year document range), we faced the following problem :
    It is not possible to create a proposal in F110 and to create the payment
    medias while creating the proposal. The error message :
    The following payment documents/payment orders were not updated
    (Result of the payment document update)
    CoCd Payment document/Payment order
    BP01 F110000001
    BP01 F110000002
    The accompanying payment media have not been generated
    ...is displayed in the logs of printing program. Using another company
    code - without the document number range modification -, there is no
    problem.
    When we want to run the payment run and tick "Create payment medium"
    while launching the payment run, we faced the same problem with the real
    documents. It was possible to print the payment medium after a few
    seconds, using the "printing" function of F110. After activating the
    field XSYUP in table T042C with value "X", the problem disappeared for
    the real payment run. In the proposal run, the problem still occurs.
    Would you have any explanation and potential solutions to solve this
    problem ?

    Hi Florent,
    Check if you have the F0272 and F0273 errors, this result from (1) Update terminations or (2)
    Starting of the print program before postings are completed.
    The reason for the payment document not yet being updated in your case
    appears to be that the print job was started too early, (since there
    are no update terminations, check it at  SM13).
    Checking the print program variant, and when messages on the log are
    output: the system checks whether the 'validation of payment doc' is
    marked and if it is, it looks to see whether the document exists.
    If it does not the system issues the error, like in your case it
    probably happened.
    When this occurs, there are two options.
    1) Re-run the print program. If the invoices have been paid and clea-
        red then you can re-run program and mark the reprint button. This
        will allow you to regenerate the checks.
    The recommendation of note 855825 is valid for all RFFO* programs. In
    fact it's a generic recommendation and will help you in this case.
    Also let us know in case you are facing another issue, let us know the error numbers, it
    will help us in order to provide you some hints on how to fix it.
