HRMS Configuration Workbench - Upload FSA Benefit Elections

Using HRMS Configuration Workbench to upload benefit elections I receive ORA-01403 when trying to load an amount for a FSA plan. I am entering the amount in the "Benefit Val" column on the upload spreadsheet. The following error is generated:
ORA-01403: no data found ORA-01403: no data found in Package BEN_ENROLLMENT_PROCESS Procedure CREATE_ENROLLMENT. The DataPump produces an error whenever an amount for an FSA plan is specified. If FSA plans are set to "Declined" then the Datapump elections are successfully updated.
Our FSA plan has a Standard Rate configuration with "Calculation Method" = "Set Annual Rate Equal to Coverage" a "Coverage" calculation is specified, and the "Calculate Enrollment" box is checked. Our "Coverage Calculation" screen has a "Calculation Method" = "Flat Amount" and the "Enter Value at Enrollment box checked.
Can someone offer some advice?

1. Is this still and issue for you?
2. Did you log a service request with Oracle Support. If so, what is the SR number?

  • HRMS Configuration Workbench - yes or no?

Does anyone have knowledge of HRMS Configuration Workbench being used for an Oracle HRMS and Payroll implementation?
If so, what are the pros and cons?
And would you recommend it as the preferred method for implementation?
I am about to begin an implementation in the Gulf region, but have never used Workbench before.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Why is configuration workbench not used often

Hello all, I am working on an HRMS implementation. Now, the project manager (from client company) has most likely been to some oracle presentation and says the configuration workbench is used to create the company structure. Here is the problem for me, I have never used this in any implementation. Also, I couldn't find a way to modify the key flexfields (like Job, Position) etc and as if this wasn't bad enough, the client implementation requires the creation of numerous additional EITs, SITs etc.
How does a consultant explain not using the configuration workbench? What are the reasons this tool is not typically used (as I have never used or seen anybody use it in 6 years working in oracle hrms)?
    Many Thanks

Configuration Workbench is good, and has got quite a bit better over recent releases.
Sure, it doesn't configure everything. But I'm not sure your choice is that black and white: why not use Config Workbench where it helps and do the other config manually. If it doesn't do anything useful for you (unlikely) I'm sure your PM would listen.
This sounds like a good opportunity for you to learn something new as well...

  • What is the field in system extract for FSA annual election

    hi rakesh,
in your first select single * statement you have given WHERE BUKRS = T001K-BUKRS..but at the point of execution, what will be the value stored in t001k-bukrs...i doubt it will be initial....so,  store bukrs in a variable or hardcode it.....
in the second select, you hve not given any target work area for the into class...that's y your subrc is 4...specify a target area, where you want the data to be stored...

  • Strange XMLP implementation on HRMS Compensation Workbench

We are looking to create reports off the Compensation Workbench (CWB). As it follows from the viewlet found in the Metalink Note 311702.1, XMLP is implemented for the CWB in some pretty strange fashion not described anywhere in the XMLP documentation.
User is shown to create an rtf template. The tags' names, however, are not related to any XML file, but can be picked as the user likes. Upon uploading the template, the user is presented a screen on which he has to match his tags with the available data fields. Something resembling the process with PDF templates, but it is not.
The underlying XML file is created somehow behind the screen, and only for a single employee, so we can not create any reports, say, with the list of employees. So the questions:
    What is this XMLP impementation?
Where is that XML file to which the tags are referred?
How can we change the file?
If not, is there other ways to run reports from the CWB?
    Thanks a lot.

In step -1 Ensure you have the following infrastructure pre-reqs installed and you are a FULL Legislative HRMS customer
    ·         Oracle HR (PER) product installation status: Full
    ·         Release 12.1.3 or later
    What it is mean ?
    License E-Business Suite:Add-ons page i am seeing
    Self-service Human Resources
    Advanced Benefits
    Compensation Workbench
    iRecruitment
    Payroll
    Performance Management
    Time & Labor
    HR Intelligence
    Succession Planning
Already selected.  Do i need to change any thing here ?
If these modules are selected, then you are good. Nothing else needs to be done (assuming you are licensed to use all of these modules).
And i want to install legislation for Singapore. Which patch i have to apply the pre requisites before applying the hrglobal.drv.
Depends on what your current HR patch level is - run the script in MOS Doc 453632.1 to determine this. Choose the column for your patch level in the table and check the key beneath the table for any patches you may need to apply.
And also i am using external tier for (iReqruitment). So do I need to apply this HRMS Legislative Data Patch and prerequisites in both tiers ?

  • HRMS CONFIGURATION questions

The Configuration guide says.. as below and request your help on the same.
Identify the Recruitment Source Types in your Oracle source system by using the
    following SQL:
    SELECT
    HR_STANDARD_LOOKUPS.LOOKUP_TYPE,
    HR_STANDARD_LOOKUPS.LOOKUP_CODE,
    HR_STANDARD_LOOKUPS.MEANING
    FROM HR_STANDARD_LOOKUPS
    WHERE LOOKUP_TYPE = 'REC_TYPE'
    -- This step is fine.
Using a text editor, open the domainValues_Recruitment_Source_Type_
oraVersion.csv file located in the $PMServer\LkpFiles directory (for example,
    INFA_HOME\server\infa_shared\LkpFiles).
    -- done
Copy the Lookup Code and Meaning to the SOURCE_TYPE_CODE and
SOURCE_TYPE_NAME columns in the file respectively. The data must be copied
starting from the sixth line. Use commas to separate the entries.
    -- this is done.
Map each Recruitment Source Type (LOOKUP_CODE) to one domain value for
each of the two domain columns - W_SOURCE_TYPE_CODE and W_SOURCE_
TYPE_DESC. The Recruitment Source Type Description (MEANING) is extracted
with the Source Type to help you map the domain values.
-- so where would i get the domain column values??? If some HRMS functional is going to give us.. where would they get it from??? ANY HELP IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Map each of these additional source types, which are added to W_RCRTMNT_
SOURCE_D table by the extract mapping:
    ■ Type = IREC; Name = iRecruitment
    ■ Type = UNKNOWN; Name = unknown
-- What do you mean by additional source types??? is it saying that if we get information from some other sources???
It would be great idea for ORACLE people to give these points in better detail because it reduces dependency on the functional people and probably as a BI guy I can just ask them for validation... pls appreciate any clarifications on the above points..

  • Size of local configuration file uploads?

Where is the size cap of files in the upload of the "local"->"configuration files" section set? Trying to upload a rather large file and getting the "file too big to upload" message.

    Hi!
As far as I know, you should upload the file directly from the Console Server. If you upload Files from any other "managed host" you will run in this limitation.

  • Static RP Configuration PIM vs Candidate RP election

    Hi Team,
i have static RP for a group range (225.0.0.0 to 255.0.0.0) and i have configured dynamic RP (bootstrap mechanism) for the same group range.
which one will be elected as RP-SET.
    please share your views.
    thanks a lot in advance.
    regards,
    Rajesh kumar V

    Rajesh
Static RP can co-exist with dynamic RP mechanisms (ie: Auto-RP). Dynamically learned RP takes precedence over manually configured RPs. If a router receives Auto-RP information for a multicast group that has manually configured RP information, then the Auto-RP information will be used.

  • How to configure quick upload? I used Migration Assistant to copy iTunes from windows XP

The transfer worked fine, and the folder is now on my desktop. When I click to open it i receive this message. "Quick upload is not configured. In order to use the quick upload feature you must first select a favorite folder by right clicking one and chosing set as favorite."
What is a "favorites Folder," and how do I fix this issue?
    Thank you.

Anyone? Am I leaving something out? Please i need to get this figured out. Thank you.

  • Configuring Workbench behind a HTTP proxy

    Hi,
I'm trying to configure the access to Endeca Workbench v 3.1.2 through a ProxyPass configured as follows:
    <VirtualHost *:81>
    ServerName workbench.etc.com
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    <IfModule mod_proxy.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    ProxyPass / http://<hostName>:8006/
    ProxyPassReverse / http://<hostName>:8006/
    </IfModule>
    </IfModule>
    </VirtualHost>
It works fine with the workbench home page and the endeca_jspref, but when I try to access, for example, to the EAC Connection Settings page, I get a 503 error. I found out that in the EAC Connection Settings case, but it's the same for the other sections, the html page contains an iframe which points directly to "<hostName>:8006" and this prevents us to correctly display the page.
Is there something I can configure in order to make the Workbench correctly point to our virtual host?

A long-shot, and I've not tried this, but have you tried setting: ProxyPreserveHost On [1]?

  • How to configure file upload restriction by file extension or size?

    Hi,
I have recently configured a 7.0 portal with the BI-JAVA component. A feature for the BW reports and IP iviews is that a user can add comment and even upload a file to a default BI repisotory. It is easy to restrict access to users by means of ACL, but i also want to avoid users from uploading anything apart from *.PDF. It would also be nice to restrict in file size (otherwise it is easy to just rename a file you are uploading). Is there someting available to implement this in the portal?
I have read some threads that state this is not possible by default and only by creating a custom repository service or just hacking the upload command. These threads seem rather old and i dont know if the presented solution is still valid. Does anybody know if SAP is to delever a solution for this? (perhaps in an enhancement pack?)

    Hi,
Is there someting available to implement this in the portal?
No. You have to develop this functionality.
Have you read this blog: Restricting The Size Of The File To Be Upload in CM Repository ?
