HRSSA Dynamic Approver comptability with the notification Mailer

Dear All ,
we are developing "HRSSA " while testing it's working so fine with the user if he defined on the workflow with a static value , but if his value is retrieved dynamically with select statement it isn't working
it ignores the approver & update the requester with approved status
Example
first approver : defined static (he recieved the mail & approved )
second approver : defined as dynamic (doesnot get the notification & update the requester record request as approved )

E-Mailed PO Notifications from the Notification Mailer rejected by Vendor

Greetings All! We have an issue where some of our vendors have spam filters that are rejecting the E-Mailed POs coming from the PO approval WF process. We are currently on R12 and wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what was done to get around the issue. The notification mailer is sending the messages out but our internal Unix domain (where the EBS resides) is buried in the e-mail header and the Vendor's spam filter rejects the message as it believes the mail is spam.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I've checked those notes and they do not apply. The Notification Mailer itself is working properly and is sending e-mails to the vendors. The problem is that the R12 Java SMTP program doesn't allow us the control we had with the concurrent program in 11i. In 11i we could include Sendmail line commands in the wfmail.cfg file that allowed us to spoof the "From" address so that it appeared the mail came from our external corporate domain. In R12, we don't have access to that since the Java notiifcation mailer uses basic SMTP and the "From" parameter just changes the human-friendly name for the e-mail withoug changing the actual from address. As such the mail headers for the e-mails have our internal unix domain which isn;t valid outside of our firewall. We have done some work with a Unix alias that solves the problem for a couple of the vendors but there are still vendors rejecting our e-mails if they come from the Unix box.The bounce messagess provided to me by our network team clearly show that it is a spam filter rejection due to an invalid domain. I'm looking to see if any other companies have hot this problem and what they may have done to get around it.

So there is only the document number, document type and last changed by information in the notification mail. How can we add the description of the document?
We have checked the related container and could not find the description of the document.

Hello Emre,
the mail is generated by report RSWUWFMLEC. You have to modify this report to change the mail text.
An easier way might be to change the subject of the mail which is generated from the workflow task. You can enter the description of the GOA in the workitem text of you active workflow (WS14000088, task TS14007969?).

How can i use Mail on 2 macs with the same mail address?

I have two Macs, connected through WLAN. From each Mac I can use Mail (sending and receiving) with the same mail address. This worked well; on each Mac I have separate files storing the mails (input, sent, trash, …).
Some days ago I had to change the provider. (Perhaps this may be the reason for my problem?) Now both mail systems are connected - in the way that if I put on Mac *1 a mail into the trash it is automatically thrown into the trash on Mac *2.
What is to be done to separate the two systems (i. e. make them independent of each other)?

It looks like you are using a IMAP mail account, a protocol used by most email providers nowadays. Read -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Message_Access_Protocol

How to send concurrent program output file as an attachment in the notification mail

We are on Oracle apps version - 11.5.10.2
We have a requirement wherein we need to send the concurrent program output file as an attachment while sending the notification mail to the user.
Currently we have tried the approach wherein we are specifying the user id in the OPTIONS tab (Notifying the following people) while submitting the concurrent program.
But using this approach, the user gets only the URL of the output file in the notification mail and not the output file as an attachment.
Kindly let us know if anyone has incorporated the logic to send the output file as attachment in the notification mail.
Please Note - We do not want any custom code to be written to send the attachment.
Any pointers to this will be helpful.

What is it with the application "mail" and the Yahoo mail servers that is in conflict all the time. We have reconfigured the settings and done everything possible and the "mail" application is still conflicted.... Running Lion 10.7.4

I know it is a pretty long question and am unsure if it can be answered, but have had just a lot of trouble with the Yahoo mail servers... Where could a man go and get the mail application, I can not find it in the app store. It is my thought maybe to just replace the app I have with another mail application and reconfigure everything and go from there. But I do not know where the mail application can be found.

Depending on exactly what you want to do, there are a couple of ways of handling this. You may want to access teh user guide for some ideas: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/ipad_user_guide.pdf

Yes, our domain and email accounts are on a server that does accept IMAP. Also, our mac mini and imacs are all set up for IMAP. Buying an ipad will enable me to work from home during this winter.
Another ?: do you know if you can use text edit with the iPads mail feature? Reason being we have about 100 generic emails that all we have to do is change a few fields before sending out. Can this be integrated in without having to recreate all these messages?

The mail server responded what is that question. You posted what looks like half the error message. So like you I do not understand. Those message have a second half that explains what the problem is.

Resolved it through the concurrent request

Message bodies are not downloaded until you open the folder containing the message. If you have a POP3 account it is possible that the message has been downloaded and deleted from the server by another mail program running on a home or office computer, so the message is gone by the time you are ready to read it. If you have a POP3 account you should make sure that any other computers that access your mail are off or at least have automatic email retrieval disabled.
If you have an Exchange account there really IS an issue. When you set up an Exchange account on the iPhone it gets its settings from the Outlook client on your computer. In some cases this setting doesn't work right on the iPhone. So if you have this problem AND your mail server is Exchange do not set up the iPhone as an Exchange client. Instead, create the account on the iPhone as an IMAP account.
If a message is very larger (probably over 1 MB or so) the iPhone won't download it. This could be why it happens with only some messages.
Finally, if you have it set up as an IMAP account and it still happens you are very unusual, as just about everyone who has reported this problem is using either Exchange or POP3. (Unless it happens on very large messages only)."

Shift-Command-H is the key-combo to switch 'Long Header'/'Standard Header' .
Long way: Top Menu -> View -> E-Mail
