HS-900 and Steam

Ok, i just joined this forum mostly for this problem. I just bought the HS-900 and i'm trilled with it...with everything but steam itself and steam games. Alot of people are saying that their mic isn't working at all and this is not my case. My mic works perfectly in BF2142 but not when i try to test my mic in steam settings and although it works sometimes to a degree (which is very strange) other times my friends will mute me because they say i am extremely loud (like a god voice) and very staticy. When i test in steam settings usually i'll just get a little fizzle when i speak. I am currently plugged into the front mic jack on my X-Jupiter case although this fizzling and staicing happens whether it's into the mobo or not. Any help is appreciated, I am running windows vista.

In my power plant, Steam and power is produced.
I want to map the scenario. But how can i saw power production and sell to different units. As power, we can not keep in stock as it is directly issued/consumed/sold. So are there any specific things are provided by SAP for power production and selling?
If you have any idea plesae share the same as I want to produce steam and power and want to sell the same to different plants within client or may be to supplied to govt in future.
FYI in my company, Descrete manufactuting is there. Version 4.6 C
In PP/SD/CO/MM side, what transactions may be followed to achieve this?(steam and power production and sell).

Hi, YOu can use REM to capture the production cost of the power and steam. Create as halb materials but make sure that the process is mapped in such a way that stock is consumed to full at the month end processing....
1) if we generate steam and power and stock it , how to clear it. : depend on your process, if the consumption for steam and power is booked at end of shift, just before that do a GR for the equivalent power and consume it....
3) What will be the implications on cost , if we stock steam and power. - you can do a standard cost estimate.

         Here we have a scenario where we are generating LP Steam and Power in power plant and using it in other plant for paper making.
So we are considering LP Steam as finished product and Power as co product.Here we are generating LP steam and Power by using HP steam ,and HP steam is generated by using RO water.
So we are considering HP steam and RO water as semi finished products.
         And in paper plant , we are bringing LP steam and Power as activities , so
1) if we generate steam and power and stock it , how to clear it.
     Whether every day or once in a month.
2) If we consider Steam and power as activities in paper plant , how to go about it.

4) Do we need to move the stock to paper plant if we are considering steam and power as activities in paper plant.

SDX 900, and AJ-SD93 capture sync issues

We are working on a TV Series, and we have over 50 hours of footage, working on Dual 2.3 g5 Mac Tower, with FCP 5.1. Now I have done capture now on footage shot with a SDX 900 and 4 channels of audio captured through an edirol audio setup. The capture is through a firewire as well. We continually have audio drifts, and this isn't making any sense what-so-ever, why would this system have audio drifts when we capture using DV50 48k Anamorphic settings? Please help me. Thanks

We have the AJA IO and Kona 2 setup, we just haven't gotten the board for the AJ-SD93, so for the moment firewire is our option. The edirol Edir4 digital recorder is what we used for the Lava and Boom sound. We are coming in fine on the first clip, but as it goes along it becomes more and more out of sync. We didn't have this problem last year with the same camera setup. Could this be something to do with 5.1?
What is an alternative to capturing in smaller chunks?

PhotoStream is a convenient way to have photos available on multiple devices but it is not a long term storage or backup site for photos. There is a limit to the number of photos that will be kept on your photostresm and a 30 limit for photos. If you haven't already done so back up your photos to your computer.

Harmony 900 and 10.10.1

I am running 10.10.1 and attempting to reconfigure my Logitech Harmony 900 and I am getting error -
I have already downloaded the lasted Java 8 update 25, as well re-installed the lasted 10.10 Harmony 900 software. Still not workie.
Has Logitech just not caught up, or is the 900 not getting the support any longer? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Cant install flash player for firefox and steam

hi
as i stated in the topic i cant seem to install flashplayer for those 2.
just to give you all a general information i have a core i5 760 cpu on asus p7p55d-e pro motherboard with 4gb of memory and gtx 480 as my system. when i used internet explorer flash was working properly it also works properly in google chrome but it doesnt play movies in steam client leaving a message in the middle that i need the latest version and i cant seem to install firefox plugin anyway too it redirects me to do it manualy and thats where problems start.
when i go to flash website from ie or chrome it shows i have the latest version available installed but it doestn work with steam and firefox.
what i noticed is when i download the latest version of flashplayer installer for windows 7 64bit either for ie or for other browsers and try to install it including running it as administrator the installer doesnt do anything that leads to install . what i have noticed is after i confirm in windows that i want to install it i get this little circle as my cursor for about 1 min randomly showing up and turning into normal pointer on top of that when i turned on task manager to see why is that happening i noticed that flash installer starts in services tab one two or even three times at a time and closes itself to do it again one or 2 and one again. also noticed it showes few coppies of flash installer that appear in that time in my temp directory on disc C with weird names like quote:

all in all im not so much bothered about firefox as i dont use it anymore but i wish i could install flash for steam
does anyone knows solution to my little problem ?
p.s i tried ussing that flash installer in windows safe mode with no positive result.

Why are there now TWO Adobe Flash Players needed to view all websites: v11.9.900 and v12.0.0.43?

I had Adobe Flash Player v.11.9.900.170 and upgraded to v.12.0.0.43. When I checked the Add-Ons manager, both Flash versions were listed and active. I de-activated the earlier version, and now some websites indicate I do not have Flash. When I re-activated the old version, the video played fine. So what's the deal with it being necessary to have TWO versions of the Flash Player installed, the current one AND a previous one? Seems hinkey...

@the-edmeister: Thanks for the tip, but it seems to be working OK now; tested on various sites with Flash. It may just be some bad code on Yahoo's part (wouldn't be the first time), and the Captcha works, just not its audio. Still testing, but seems like the double Flash versions issue magically solved itself, even without a re-boot. Perhaps just some squirrelly code from Adobe...

Half-Life 2 "The Orange Box, and Steam

Is there an "easy" way to get Steam installed? I thought it use to be easy to install it, and it seems to be a lot harder now. I believe just a few weeks ago, you could install with a typical "wine /media/cdrom0/Setup.exe". Now I get permission errors when trying to read the DVD, and when I google it, there seems to be a lot of manual effort involved. Previously I was using the Steam installer included with Left 4 Dead, now I am using the one in The Orange Box. Maybe I can just install the games without using Steam, since I have the DVDs?
The instructions I found had a bunch of info on copying fonts from a Windoze box so that Steam could render itself properly, I don't remember having to do that before.
I also tried to install Diablo 2, which use to install easily. My new box of CD's are labelled strangely, and wine can't install them. I get the same DVD permission errors. The old CD's were labelled "Install", "Play", and "Data" (I think). The new CD's are just labelled "1", "2", and "3".
I can post more detailed info, I was just curious if anyone had these games working using the latest boxed CD's.

Seconded. However, I don't think you even have to have a Steam account to download the installer. To run it do:

PNP and Selection Screen 900 and Authorization

We have used the combination of logical db PNP with selection screen 900 to write a few custom payroll reports. We noticed right away that this combination seems to ignore HR authorizations. Meaning, someone could read payroll results for employees they are not authorized to see. We had to add our own authorization checks.
Am I missing something or is something wrong with the 900 selection screen?

The 900 selection screen is for evaluation of Payroll Results. The system checks whether the user who started the evaluation has the correct authorization for this evaluation. Since the data retrieval is from the Payroll Results and not Master data the regular Authorization checks might not be relevant here. Even if the User has no authorization to view the Employee's Master data, he/she might still be able to view the Payroll results via this selection screen if he /she has the evaluation authorization. You are probably right in having to put in your own authorization checks. I hope I am not wrong.

I won't be able to try the Apple Hardware test right away because I don't have time to disconnect everything to run the test. I might also get into my computer to check for dust on the graphics card if I can find good instructions on removing it. I'm confused about your logic board comment. Why did you say that's a good lifespan for a portable when I'm discussing my Mac Pro? Is my logic board listed in "About this Mac"? If so, where? My hard drive accidently got fried by a tech just before my APP ran out and I know quite a few things got replaced but I can't remember exactly what. I'm wondering if that is newer that the stock logic board that came with the computer.

Headsets for Lumia 900 (and lumia 1520)

I currently own a Lumia 900 which I mostly use with Plantronics Bluetoth - and it works fine.
Now I try to use it with my Razer Kraken Pro and it does not work at all - very low and scatchy noise - and if I try with my wifes headset (an iPhone compatable headset) its the same story.
Both of the headsets work fine on my wifes iPhone but works poorly on my Lumia 900.
Why is that ?
I expect to buy the new lumia 1520 when it arrives to Denmark in the start of 2014 but can I expect the same headset issues with that model ?

Nothing wrong with your phone. iPhone headsets only work with iPhones.

Help! Selphy 900 and Windows 8

I just bought a new computer that runs Windows 8 and it appears my Canon Selphy 900 is not compatible. I've searched for drivers to no avail. Can anyone help???? Thanks!

Currently, the SELPHY CP Series Printers are not supported in Windows 8. This is partly because of certain development specifications required by the operating system. Though this printer is not supported for printing from a Windows 8 computer, you still have options for printing your photos.
You can print your images stored on a memory card by inserting the memory card into the card slot on the printer and selecting the images to be printed. Once selected, press the PRINT button to start printing.
Another option is to print directly from a digital camera that supports the PictBridge standard. This method requires that you connect your digital camera directly to the printer using a PictBridge USB cable (usually provided with the digital camera and not with the printer). Once connected, you would print to the printer using the controls on the PictBridge compatible digital camera. To verify if your digital camera supports the PictBridge standard, please refer to the documentation that came with your digital camera.

I downloaded Steam recently and when I did my icons keep disappearing and reappearing. My finder also keeps closing and asking me if i want to re open. It keeps closing my files and I don't know whats wrong with it. Can someone please help me?

You might be able to get an informed answer from steam. https://support.steampowered.com/ If the game was downloaded from steam; it's probable a good idea to install those updates through steam directly.
