HS700 BT Headset Automatic Volume reset

Hi. Just bought an HS700 Bluetooth headset and paired it to my Z10. Everything worked beautifully except that when I first paired it the automatic volume control set the default volume to full up and I can't adjust it to a comfortable level with the Z10 controls. I removed the buetooth pairing from the phone and re-paired it several times but each time it reverts to full up in the earpiece and the phone controls can't adjust it. Is there any way I can reset the HS700 to the factory settings so I can set a comfortable setting for the automatic volume control? Thanks.

Just to clarify the issue you are experiencing, when you pair the headset, the volume it uncomfortably loud, then you adjust the volume. When you re-pair to the headset, the volume is back at that uncomfortable level?

My ringtone volume resets the setting to zero for no reason.

In settings the "ringtone and alerts" are set NOT to adjust with the buttons, but the ringtone and alerts volume reset to zero for no reason. Even the ringtone and alerts volume bar will show zero. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening.

If your ipod gets wet, it can cause the buttons to activate all by themselves. This can cause the volume to go up, down.
If you have a headset with buttons on the wire, check there first. Try a different set of headphones and see what the result is.
Finally, if the volume is changing a huge amount but only for certain tracks, there is an adjustment you can make on individual tracks in iTunes. Do a get info on one of the tracks doing this, then click the Options tab. Note that there is a volume adjustment slider. Make sure it is set to none.

OUTPUT volume resets to high after reboot

I turn the OUTPUT volume down then shut the computer off but when I boot it up the OUTPUT volume is hi again. I have reset pram, repaired permissions and still the same.
Must be a pref bad somewhere.

It may be a bug, but it obviously does not affect everyone. It does not happen on my older Intel iMac. And there is a +Early 2009+ Mac mini in the house, 2.0 GHz (same as and in Dah•veed's profile); it does not happen on it either.
When you did the test of setting volume low (or muted) with external speakers disconnected, and restarting with the external speakers disconnected, was the startup sound from the built-in speakers low (or muted), or was it already reset and loud. This will better determine when the volume reset takes place. If it's already loud, then it takes place during the previous logoff and actions that take place before restarting (or shutting down), or during the initial few seconds of startup (before the startup sound). If it's still low (or muted), then the sound volume reset takes place at some point after the startup sound, but before startup completes.
As another test, if you set the volume low, then log out and log back in (instead of restarting), does the volume stay low or does it get reset to the higher volume.
And as one more test, create a new admin user account in System Preferences Accounts pane

Log out and log in to the new account. Go to System Preferences Accounts pane and set it for +Automatic login+ (If you don't use automatic login normally, then you don't need to set it). Now try doing the same test, except from this account instead of your normal account. Is there any difference in the volume setting being retained?

5220 automatically got reset

My nokia 5220 has automatically got reset and all my data in phone memory got erased even the calcultor got vanished. Music and volume keys have stopped working. In addition to this the music player also got corrupted whenever i try to open it shows not enough memory

Did you ever back up your phone on the computer?
Did you use photo stream at all?
May I suggest changing your passcode lock to a letters and numbers lock (if not all ready it will make your iphone more secure and a restore lock otion shouldent be needed). Then change your setting as well preventing restore after ten incorect passwords.

How do i automate volume on an audio track??? why cant i figure this out.

in logic 8 i cant figure out how to automate volume for an audio track. With midi its fine i just use the hyper editor but with audio i just cant get it figured out. I want to mute the portions of a vocal track where there are no vocals.

Then press that button and automate away.

Volume resets to 50.

Every time I start up my Touchsmart the volume resets to 50.
I had the same problem have the same problem with screen brighness.
Any fixes?

If you use Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup to adjust the global levels for headphone output does it still reset itself ? (Because it certainly should not ... if so it would imply there's something in the Startup Items adjusting it)

Lumia 800 automatic factory reset?

Hi
Had a very strange experience with my lumia 800 and I hope that someone can explain me what happened.
I connected the phone to the charger and laid it down.
After some hours I picked it up without pressing a button. I saw for two seconds the keypad to enter the security code, afterwards the screen was black for 20 seconds and then was for one hour the nokia symbol on the screen and the phone got pretty warm. After this hour the phone started like after factory reset and all settings and data was lost.
Does anybody have an idea what happen with my phone?

I just had this same exact problem when i placed my phone to charge and went to work and i came home only to find out that the phone automatically factory reset. lost everything expecially my game save progress that i invested so much time into. Automatic System Reset

I had one of our 3 node^s in a ring topo undergo automatic system resets.
According the troubleshooting guide an Automatic system reset occurs when you do an IP change or perform any other action that causes an automatic card-level reboot. The issue is that the node was not worked on at that time nor did any one else. What is strange is that the first error entry is an SNTP host failure and 3 seconds later the two TCS cards in slot 1-1 and slot 1-8 undergo an AUTORESET. I have read trough the troubleshooting guide version 9.4 but can not correlate the errors with this behaviour. I am unable to read the diagnistics file because this can only be read by Cisco. Underneath you will find all logging for last Sunday.
Hope anyone can help.

I had some case with problem AUTORESET on Cisco ONS MSTP.
I see, you have ONS 15454 Multishelf Node and autoreset problem for TSC, AR_MXP and PSM.
Please attach your CTC Diagnostics file from ONS. I will try to analyze it.
If you have service contract, open a Cisco TAC case to correct your issue .

IMac volume reset upon startup

Upon startup/restart, my iMac’s volume resets from mute to just above mid-volume. I have reset the PRAM several times, and it has not made a difference. I would like my iMac to start up silent like it always has. Any suggestions?

Try resetting some of the hardware involved (PRAM~NVRAM). See this Apple KB for details, etc.:

Can't hurt to try, and apparently this has helped others recently.
Failing that, take it to an Apple Store and ask staff there for assistance.

SUN StorageTek 6140 w/ Linux Automatic Volume Transfer (AVT)

Hi2all
Im connecting a SUN StorageTek 6140 to Linux RHEL witjh qlogic cards/drivers
Using the latest drivers now 8.02.23
I had several I/O errors at fdisk -l ( 4mins time ) and boot was 15mins
Now with a change in StorageTek 6140 settings, enabling Linux
Automatic Volume Transfer (AVT) is ok
fdisk -l is < 1sec, boot normal
Can you explain this? is this the correct way to set it up?

It really depends which failover driver you're using / wantint to use.
I'd suggest downloading and using the RDAC driver from [http://www.sun.com/download/index.jsp?cat=Hardware%20Drivers&tab=3&subcat=Storage]
It sounds like the RHEL box was trying to probe volumes on boot and fdisk but since the initiator type wasn't correct, it would timeout eventually on each volume on one of the paths.

In Nokia, there is no headset in budget..
The only budget with stylish headset I feel is coloud wh - 510 only.. I like to buy.. But I need volume key also.. Because always a music lovers have earphone everywhere and here music any times and different situation.. We maximum kept mobile in pocket while travel etc etc.. Each time for adjusting volume or play pause ,, we feel tough to take out and change.. If u make a headset with volume and multi function key means then it will be a super budget and very successful headset in India.

Automatic password reset for ADSUser in Portal UME

Hi All,
I have one scenario here:
Portal user base is set up in Solution Manager in production
For Adobe Document Service configuration,the system user - ADSUSER is residing in UME.
Now when I am changing the password and testing the configuartion everything is working fine.
But the next moment,the testing fails.
If I am trying to logging with ADSUSER credentials in the Portal,I am getting Authentication failure.
So it automatically gets reset to some unknown value.
I would appreciate any pointer in resolving the issue.

The account is not getting locked but if I am doing the Connection test for RFC Dest - ADS for the first time its getting sucessful but the very next time its failing and thats becuase on second attempt the password is getting reset
Any idea what is occuring
Is it that since my Portal is connected to SOL MAN as UME ,I need to use the ADSUSER present in SOLMAN instead of Local UME of the Portal

Sound volume resets at reboot since upgrade from Tiger to Snow Leopard

Hi, i upgraded my computers this week end (iMac, macbook, mini) from Tiger to Snow Leopard. All went great except one little bug : the sound volume resets at each reboot, for example on the iMac it is always at minimum after each reboot. This occurs on all 3 computers.
Do you meet the same "problem"? Do you know any solution except the clean install?

This doesn't work for me, but what it does do is play the alert volume feedback "pop" when that option is deselected in the Audio system preference & not play it when the option is selected. Sound volume reset on restart.

Has anyone else notice that every time you restart the next boot up resets your volume to half way. I’m not sure I can really call it a bug but it is annoying.
I never had this issue with regular Leopard. Can any one else confirm their machine doing the same thing.
