HSDPA 3.5G not working in Nokia C5-00 phone why ?...

Problem in accessing 3.5G(HSDPA) internet while using Nokia C5-00 Handset as a modem over Laptop or Desktop(using data cable or Bluetooth).
After connecting 3.5G internet using Nokia C5-00 its connected and provide the best available operator speed, and when trying to some files to Download then download speed reach to 120KB/s(1.1 Mbps) or more, then packet data sending continuing but receiving totally stopped (0Byte/s) within 1-10minutes.
But when I changed my Nokia C5-00 to other Nokia 3G handset or 3G USB Modem & using Reliance or Aircel 3G connection then its running Very well and smoothly Up to 3 Mbps & without error its continues many Hours.
This is important that I have already Checked 3Numbers of Nokia C5-00 handsets and found that, in phone HSDPA(3.5G) internet running well but when I trying to connect as a modem over Laptop or Desktop then HSDPA not working on All C5 handsets.
In this regards I am and also many C5 users are not be able to access Hi Speed Internet using their PC's.

i have bsnl 3g in my nokia C5.00 but i cann't access internet while i am in national roaming. alought I asked to my mobile operator, but they coann't help me.They told me that its your handset fault.
In my cell a message "Unable to connect Internet" is coming.

If you are using just Internal GPS, could be that the location information got wiped when you did the update. In this case give the device some time to get the location, this can take relatively long time (the first time), so little patience is needed.
If you are using AGPS and Network based navigation, then do the following actions and in between them test if the device works.
Make sure the internet is on in Maps > Options (3 lines) > Settings > General > Connection > Online. Also check that the network destination is correct.
Make a back up with Nokia Suite. Type in *#7780# = soft reset, no data lost.
You can also reinstall the phone software. The process is the same as when updating with Nokia Suite, but at the end select "Reinstall".
If it's still the same, type in *#7370# = hard reset, phone memory will be wiped. Restore back up.
Hope you get the navigation working again!

The warranty says that Apple may restrict service of an iPhone to the country of sale, and any reliable salesperson will tell you that if you tell them that you plan to use the iPhone in another country. Such service restrictions are common with cellphones and are by no means limited to Apple's phones.
Sorry, but if your iPhone requires service, you will need to send it to someone you know in the US who can get it serviced and then send it back to you.

If you double tap the home button, and then swipe your finger to the right, make sure you DO NOT have the Lock Orientation button enabled.
You know it is disabled if there is no padlock in the middle of the icon.

I would like to add:
you have incompatible software: start in SafeMode, read Woodmeister and see if it is free of issues.
Akamai is crap software needed or not, Huawei the same.
It is very possible that the keygenerator you used for generating a key for some softwares has infected your mac.
The non-regular software with the false key(s) are not compatible probably or generate malware. Luckily you can not update them automatically because the keygenerator blocked the software for contacting the developer... I propose to consider getting rid of those softwares by really good uninstalling.
You have a beautiful mac, don't degenerate it with crapped software. There are alternatives for expensive software, for example Adobe Photoshop has a free alternative (with a less beautiful interface) in GIMP. And so on.

i bought a nokia 5800 US version unlocked mobile handset 10 months back. now i am using indian BSNL 3G SIM in india. my mobile handset is not detecting the bsnl 3G signal. from bsnl people i understood that their technology is 3.5G HSDPA 2100. according to gsmarena the US version supports "HSDPA 850 / 1900". is there a way to make it work with the bsnl 3G network?
voice calls, SMS and web browsing working.
Video calls, MMS, TV, etc... not working.
my mobile set has firmware version 21.2.025 date: 18-04-2009

updating the firmware with indian version firmware, will it help in solving the problem?

Out of my interest in which part of the world are you living? do you have any idea about the ongoing talks about the launch of 3G services by private players and one more thing spend some time in to whatever thing you are reading and atleast try to comprehend whats been conveyed there. There was no explicit statement by DoT to hold the services given by the existing players, currently only BSNL and MTNL(Mumbai). Of course I read paper daily.

Caller ID not working with Nokia 6600?

I have a T-Mobile (US) Nokia 6600, and I can't seem to get address book to display incoming SMS or the caller ID of incoming calls. I've successfully paired the phone via bluetooth, and I can make address book dial the phone and send an sms. I can sync via iSync, use my phone as a modem, etc. etc.
But regardless of what settings I tweak, I can't seem to get Address Book to show a bezel of any kind on incoming calls - not even an 'Unknown Caller' message! Am I missing something obvious? Third party apps like BluePhoneElite work just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's something wrong with Address Book...

It has been a long time since I have been using the Nokia Messaging Email to receive emails from my different email accounts includinga couple of Windows Live Mail accounts to my Nokia 5800XM and it was working like a charm till a couple of weeks age.
Since last couple of weeks I am not receiving email from my Windows Live Mail accounts, other account POP/IMAP are working fine but Windows Live Mail account are not working at all, none of them. I haven't changed any password or something, I don't know what is wrong but I am unable to receive email from WLM, even if I open mail app and manually do a Send/ Receive, it doesn't update my emails from my WLM accounts. I have even tried resetting the data from Nokia Messaging Email settings but for no avail.
Can someone help or update me in this regard, what's going on, is it just me or . ...

@Jagmohan258747 when did that start (time/date), do you remember? Are you searching a radio station (that is broken actually) or just try to listen to one of your favorites?
The latter should still work, therefore, we have to look into this issue together – but we need the answer to the two questions above.

This is not a hardware problem and water damage would does not create faulty programming. I had the same problem on my 5310 for the row 456, running on fw 7.01. As you say, the keys start working again after you tap them for a while; have you also noticed when they stop working? This seem to be when you leave the phone with the key-lock switched on (if you, for instance leave the phone on the screen that you get by hitting *#0000# you will see that the buttons are still working afterwards. This screen prevents the automatic key-lock functionality.) If you've been a developer for as long as I have it should be quite clear that somebody made a no-no.
So, your issue should be resolved by updating to firmware version 9.42 using the Nokia Software Updater.
Nokia have had some problems with their updater recently. They fixed it now, but should you be unable to connect to their servers even though you have all ports open, no firewall in the way and so on, you will need to reinstall the software.
This is the file i got from support when I talked with them about it.

so, uninstall the current version, reboot, install this one.
