HT1044 Red pages in photo album. Where can I complain?

Where can I complain about printing errors? Central pages of the album turned out redish. On screen the pictures looked great. But printing result is bad.

Did you preview the book according to this Apple document before ordering: iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture.
It's wise to do so and keep the resulting PDF file to compare to the printed verson when it arrives.

Where can I complain about a bad HP Service Center (India)?

I have my hp laptop under warramty. I have a faulty dvdwriter. I took to my service center. They said they will inform me when the writer stocks come to their office. Its 15days now and everyday I call them and each day they reply that no stock has arrived. I am very frustrated now. Where can i complain about this service center (except in consumer court)?

AASP Fees !! Where can i complain about a AASP

My battery needed to be change, my equipment is out of guaranty and i do not have Apple care.
I went to a AASP shop and i paid the cost of the new battery, how much do they are allowed to charge for the service?, is there a fee? If there is a fee why is not included on the cost of the battery ?
they charged me 184.78 for the battery and another 23.20 for the instalation?
Is it 207.98 Dollars the right price?
Where can i complain or report a AASP?

I accidently deleted photos. Where can I retrieve from Time Machine?

I was trying to delete some graphic images that had somehow gotten downloaded into iPhoto, and ended up deleting the entire library. They aren't in the iPhoto trash. Where can I go in the Time Machine to retrieve the photos? I don't know where they are stored? Any ideas? Thank you for help!

This should work:
Open iPhoto
Click File
At the bottom of the file menu click on "browse backups"
This opens up time machine, so you can look for your photos there.

Accidentally deleted my photo album - how can I get it back?

I accidentally deleted my photo album in iPhoto. Now it's gone.
I have a backup on an external HD.
But when I start time machine and go back to the last backup, I can only find all the photos, but not the albums. Can please anyone help? Thanks

Since the albums are just pointers to the images and some extra information, they don't really exist separately, but are stored in the database.
The best plan is to restore the whole library from the backup and re-import any added pictures.
(Congratulations on having a backup!)
You could use time machine to create a *duplicate* library, remove everything from the duplicate except the photo book and the images it contains and then use the third party iPhoto Library Manage go merge the duplicate back with the original, but that sounds like too much work for me. 8^)

In trying to put a photo icon in my dock, I lost all my photo albums and can't get them back. Please help.

I tried to put a photo icon on my desktip dock. In doing so, I have lost all my photos file, every album, every photo. Can anyone help me retrieve them in their album form?

My phone is running 6.0.1. I took one photo from the lock screen by sliding up the camera button. It was a little blurry so I tried again and the iphone 4s said it couldn't because the phone was out of space.
After shutting the phone off and turning it back, put in the passcode and checked my photos and they were all gone. Usage says I only have 150mb left on the 16gb phone it says zero photos and zero videos. I only have 10 applications and 606 songs. It seems the photos are still on the device as the space is being used but i cant access them. Is very puzzleing...Where did they go and can I recover them? Any idea or suggestions will help. Thanks

I i backup from current state would it not backup without the photos. Maybe I should just restore from the last backup posible and this should have all photos until then. But before i restore from backup I wish i could just access the photos. I don't understand in the first place how they all deleted, and secondly why iphone still recognizes the space being used. Is there a way to download additional fonts into Pages? If so, where can I find them?

I was wondering if there was a way to add new fonts to Pages. I recently purchased a new iMac that came standard with Pages. I'm resisting the urge to install Microsoft Word as I prefer Pages in many ways. However, I'm frustrated that I can't use/find any unique fonts to add to Pages like I can do with Microsoft Word. I create documents that I sell online and would love to be able to only use Pages for this purpose. Instead I find myself having to reformat documents in Word just to get the font I want.

Go to the App Store and type Fonts into the Search bar. You will see a large array of fonts you can download. Many of them are free. I downloaded the MacFonts Holiday fonts last year, and they show up anywhere I have a font dropdown.
With any of the MacFonts, you just download it, then follow the instructions for moving them into your FontBook app.

Is there a maximum number of photos/albums you can sync to the IPAD?

I have tried for about 3 hours to get the pictures off of my computer to the IPAD (2800 pictures), It seems to just stop syncing at about 1000 pics.
Do I have to have them all in 1 directory or something. I am syncing with iTunes.

There are conflicting reports on this. A senior member of Apple is alleged to have said that it is limited to 16gb irrespective of the the size of the iPad. Many people have experienced a similar problem. Search this forum for previous threads.

Where can I complain about Apple?

Apple seem to have a lot of contact numbers and support lines but there are no obviously visible ones to make a complaint.
The reason i want to complain is because their software, which i always keep updated, ruined my laptop i.e. it caused me to have to erase all of my drive with all my files because it would not restart after the update, kept getting to the same loading point then switching off. I had backup but some important files were lost because they were not there during my last back up.
The support suggested i pay a lot of money to recover any lost files, but why should i pay when it was Apples product that caused the problem?
If anyone knows where i can actually make a complaint directly to people who can deal with it please share. (I am very frustrated about this)

Where can I complain so that Adobe will take notice and rectify a problem?

I have just installed Premiere Elements 8.0 and Photoshop Elements 8.0. I took out the first CD from the pack and installed Photoshop - no problem at all.
Since there were no instructions to the contrary, I assumed that Premiere was on the second CD (they look essentially identical). When I inserted it into my drive, I got a screen (attachment 1). I continued to follow the installation instructions until I received an error message (attachment 2). There appeared to be no way I could install Premiere and called Adobe Tech Service where, after some waiting and talking to others, I finished up with a representative who said he helps with installation problems. I gave him all the details of what I had done, including reading to him the contents of the two above attachments and pointing out that the welcome screen only contained reference to Premiere (I told him I assumed that it was because the system recognized that I had already installed Photoshop). He told me that my existing installation of Premiere Elements 7 was probably interfering with the installation and advised me to uninstall it. He also gave me a Case Number (181 358 820). I did this, again with the above results. In desperation I read all the fine print on the two CDs in the set and realized they had different serial numbers. I then put the first CD into my drive and the installation moved forward without a problem. When I subsequently opened Premiere I was greeted with a new message (attachment 3)!!!!
What am I to think about the "Technical Representative" who got me to unnecessarily uninstall Premiere 7 and with it all my previous settings which I must now re-enter?
Afterwards, I checked all the literature which was included with the CDs - nowhere was there any indication that both applications were included on CD 1 and that CD 2 was an add-on. As is obvious in my case, it is useless to provide this information only once Premiere has been completely installed.
I strongly recommend that Adobe follow the lead of Microsoft and Corel (to name but two) who not only carefully label each disc of a set with its contents but also make very clear in their installation instructions the sequence in which the disc contents are to be installed.

In regards to your incomplete installation of the Functional Content, you can do that now from the installer on the second disc.
I do not have PrE 8 suite, so this is a general observation from dozens of other Adobe Suites. The welcome screen (AutoRun) on the first disc will have a menu of the programs in that suite, and an active link to Install All, or the separate elements of the suite. That has been the norm since the release of CS (Creative Suite). Not sure how they may have changed things for PrE/PSE 8, but it sounds as though one could easily be confused.
As for contacting Adobe, there is a link on the main forum page for that.
Also, I would not list your Adobe Case # in the forum. Adobe does not read these, so it is of no use to them, plus all who view the forum will have access to it.

PS - due to the installation problems, one can also do Repair Installations of programs that are only partially installed (this is not for the Functional Content, but with the installation of the program), or corrupt installations of Adobe Programs. This is simple and has always been great for all users (myself included), who have used it.

My name is Maïté Rivard and I'm student in university. I got my precedent computer broken one month and half ago, then I decided to look for a new computer. A friend of mine had a lenovo and convinced me to take the same as his. The 25 of octobre, I ordered it by phone. The 1rst of november, you received my check and took the payment. But since it will make one month and soon half since you continue reporting the expedition day on my order. It's the fourth time now, and i'm really pissed off right now because I can't have anyone help me. I sent a mail to the gentle man who served me on the phone and he said that a necessary piece for the construction of my computer is missing. But on the phone before, he said me that you were having some in stock, ready to ship!!! I want to hear the real reason of this serious lack of responsibility, because i absolutely need a computer for school work, my session is going really really bad because I can't do some wotk that absolutely needs a computer, I'm in university, therefore I CAN'T accept any lack of yours, may it be on the "construction of the machine", on the pieces missing for it, or even on the shipping deadlines!!!!! I am really deceived and stressed out about university!!!
I want the real explanation, I want you to resolve this problem, and I want a compensation for all this time you have took my payment but didn't sent me the product, because right now you are just at the bottom of my confiance list.

If you are as egalitarian as you represent yourself to be, then the fact that I may not agree with you should not be reason for you to find fault with my responses. Is this perhaps a variant on the old theme of, "We measure a person's worth by how well they agree with us?"
If acquiring points were a purpose, would not it be more important to a Level 1, 2, or 3 member than to a Level 4 or 5 member?
What is the reward you perceive in acquiring points? Peer recognition, status, honorifics of some kind? For what it is worth, I am more than old enough to have already acquired all of those I might want, and to have done so before beginning to post in Discussions.
What, then, is the risk you state I am afraid of, that would keep me from agreeing with any point of view I chose to?
Your original question was to find a venue to submit a complaint to Apple. In your later posts that devolved to just having a place to vent. Which do you really seek?
Venting, generic complaining, can be a good thing, but it's not appropriate everywhere; this is one of those places.
The Terms of Use for these forums clearly states the purpose and nature of these forums; it would be reasonable to consider that to be akin to a mission statement. I can operate within them, or go elsewhere - it's my choice. To do otherwise is to play the role of King Canute.
