HT1144 When I log into the app store it has the previous owners id at the login and doesn't let me change it to mine. how do I cane this?
I need help - can't seem to log in to the App Store to update my iphoto because the previous owners id is in the login and it's grayed out so it doesn't let me log in.
Go to the App Store and sign out. Then sign back in with your Apple ID:

In the meantime, make sure you're logging in with the same Apple ID and that the new computer is authorized with that iTunes account. -

All apps are tied to the apple ID used to buy them.

Unable to log into itunes & app store
I am unable to log into itunes & app store from my iphone5s OS 7.1.1. The apple ID works on the apple site and from my apple tv and ipad etc. I have rebooted the iphone, deleted icloud and logged back in successfully. I can use find my iphone and see my other devices. When I go to settings > iTunes & App Store > enter the apple ID and password and press sign in > it shows a activity circle at the top by the wifi indicator but then nothing else happens. Settings > iTunes & App Store still has my username and password. I can press sign in again but nothing happens.
I've tried to go into iTunes Store and look at my previous purchased movies but it keeps prompting me to sign in.. I use existing apple ID > enter ID and pass > and it just loops the same process over and over.. use existing apple ID > enter ID and pass > use existing apple ID > enter ID and pass > etc..

To troubleshoot your problem, follow the steps below:
1. Delete the file - Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
2. Restart OS X
3. Try logging into Mac App Store again.

No, its been never jail break this happens sometimes but sometimes it doesnt. And he is not in the U.S.A, and is using his iphone in another country. Can it be because of a modem or bad internet?

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Download and install the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Hello, I purchased pages yesterday and I took it off of my computer but accidentally took it off my purchases section in the app store. Now, if I go back to the pages site, it asks me to pay another 19.99. help! I didn't even get to use it.
There is nothing wrong with the OS update.
Delete ALL your email accounts.
Restart Playbook
Put the accounts back and ensure they are all set with PUSH ON. Manual (push off) will burn battery.
Similarly delete your wifi connections and add back when required.
Turn off wifi is not connected to wifi.
Any "hunting for connection" in email or wifi will burn up battery. -
I am trying to find an app or software to burn iMovie 11 slideshow to a dvd. I have a MacBook Pro with Mavericks. There are a lot of DVD Creator apps at the App store. Looking for a recommendation of what to use and tips. Thank you.
I've been using "Burn" for years and it has been the only DVD burning software I have ever used for the mac. I have never needed to look at other apps. Unless you want something that has more bells and whistles such as Roxio's "Toast" : http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/toast/pro/overview.html
There are thousands of quality free apps out there for the mac that are not part of the App Store. All you have to do is read reviews online, do a little search, the Apple forums are full of recommendations from experienced users that have been here for years... -

My daughter has used our iPad for her Apple account and now I can't use the App store because her username automatically shows up in the Apple ID window. How do I change that so I can put our Apple ID in with the appropriate Password?
Open Settings -> Store
Tap on the Apple ID shown and sign out. Then sign in with your own Apple ID.
