I received the following email today from the following email address
APPLE <[email protected]> but suspect this is a fraulant email sent to capture ones identy etc.
But can find no way on the Apple site where such supecious actions can be reported or confirmed as actually being sent from Apple.
Any suggestions.
Dear Customer,
It has come to our attention that your account Billing Information records are out of date. That requires you to update your Billing Information. Failure to update your records will result in account termination.
Click on the reference link below and enter your login information on the following page to confirm your Billing Information records...
Click on http://store.apple.com to confirm your Billing Information records.
Thanks,
Apple Customer SupportThanks for the info. I just woke up from a nap and discovered that I had received the very same email. Whoever this wannabe scammer is, he must be very young and stupid, because if you hover over the link in Apple Mail, it clearly says "http://kingofcostumes/apple/apple.htm". Being as it is so evidently a ruse, only very novice users are going to fall for this, at least I hope so.
I did a WHOIS on the domain, and here is what the Terminal spits back for the guy:

How can i contact apple marketing to pitch an idea?
This has probably happened to most of you, but i have a few ideas I’d like to propose to the apple corporation. Maybe they'll pay attention to them and like them, maybe not, but either way I have absolutely no clue as to who or how I can contact... Any ideas?
Don't worry about it...I don't think you can undo

I have been trying to reset the email used in the Apple security info section of this site to an email address that is mine. The one that is on file here is clearly not mine, but I have no way of changing it, because all information is being sent to the wrong email address. Is there any way to fix this?
Ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

idea for Apple product how do you send your idea
See Apple - Legal - Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy
Basically they do not accept unsolicited ideas but if you insist on sending the idea to them they own it outright. If the idea is that good you should look into developing it yourself. Then once it's a hit Apple may buy to from you.
good luck -
I'm having problems with iPhoto and the facebook set-up. Every time I attempt to do so it says an error has occured and try again later. I have not seen a solution posted. Therefore, how does one contact Apple to solve the problem? I'm new to the world of iMac but I find it a bit frustrating trying to solve basic issues/problems:(
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
Thanks for listening,
Melissa -
How Do I Contact Apple Support Directly?
Can anyone tell me how I can contact Apple Support directly? I've looked all over the Help website, and can't find it. It's almost as if Apple wouldn;t want you to find it. I have a free tech help support session within 90 days of my IPod purchase that I want to use.
WARNING! 1-800-APL-CARE is the phone number for the AppleCare Support. If you didn't purchase AppleCare with your iPod, then there may be complications. See details on this page:
http://www.apple.com/support/products/applecareipod.html
If you don't purchase the AppleCare with your iPod, then you get exactly one tech support phone call. Details:
Every iPod comes with complimentary single-incident phone support within 90 days from the date of purchase and one year of hardware service coverage. The AppleCare Protection Plan extends your service and support coverage for your iPod, its included accessories, and iTunes to two years from the original purchase date of your iPod. With this plan, you get direct access to Apple experts for answers by phone(2) and anytime access to web-based resources.(3) Should your iPod or the included accessories need service, Apple-certified technicians will repair it or provide a replacement using genuine Apple parts.(1)
AppleCare for an iPod is only $59 - gives you up to 2 years of tech support. -
My i phone was stolen and I was wondering what the exact thing to do is! Also how can i send an email to apple to tell them to lock my phone permanantely?? Helpp!!
Check this out https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3362, thanks to Kappy. Contact your carrier, they would be the only one that could possibly blacklist your phone, if they provide that service.

How do I contact Apple about unlocking my old iPhone 3GS the carrier's support is appalling !
I upgraded to an iPhone 4S and changed networks as Orange service abroad was very expensive and poor. I handed my old iPhone 3GS to my wife and she has a contract with my new network. However, it does not work as the phone is locked and Orange tell me they have requested an unlock code from Apple. I am still waiting for this!! How can I contact Apple to check if this is the true situation?
Apple will not unlock an iPhone sold locked to a carrier. Only the carrier will unlock an iPhone. Some carriers, such as AT&T, appear to have policies of never unlocking an iPhone.

How do I contact apple with unknown charges to my account
My account was charged almost $30.00 for apps that I did not purchase! How do I contact apple about these charges?
I'm guessing you are in the US, apologies if i'm wrong, but if you are then do the following
Check your account history for the relevant order numbers/purchase date, cost etc. of the disputed items
Go to the Apple Express Lane Support for iTunes
https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.do?PRKEYS=PF4
Choose iTunes Store
Then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
Click Continue
Choose the devices and versions of iTunes that you normally connect to the iTunes store from and click continue
you will be taken to a page where you can e-mail Apple who will aim to respond within 24 hours
hope this helps -

Hi how can I contact apple by email cos I can't find it.thanks
I don't think there are any easy ways to contact Apple through email. They usually require you to call them, and to be honest, their service is excellent so that might be your best bet anyway.

how can i contact apple so they can send me unlock code and i can unlock my iphone in europe ?
Apple does not unlock iPhones. This is and always has been controlled by the cellular provider. Contact them to determine their unlocking policy and if you qualify.
