my question is on printing.  i know that you can make the print larger on the screen by adjusting it, but then when it comes out on paper it's just as small again.  how do I set my actual printer or my iMac to print the actual paper print larger? 

Hello, it depends what App & Document type, some say PDFs have the font stuck at a certain sise, but say in Text Edit, open a document, Highlight some text the CMD+a to Select All, then type CMD+t to get the Font/Text size menu, select a bigger size.

    Hello helpful people, so I am using a mac osx mountain lion with an hp officejet j6480 and I recently changed networks and with my new network, it connects to the network and my computer but once I print something it says printing, 100% complete but stays there and says the printer is not responding.  I switch back to the network I was using which doesn't use a password and there is no problem at all, it prints normally.  Even though it's connecting could the problem be that my new network is using a password? I connect to the network using the password on the printer and it connects with no problem but it won't respond when I print. Please someone help me out!

    No. iPads that have any type of denting or physical damage (old or new) are not covered under the warranty. Apple would have no way of determining when the damage was done or if that damage caused your present issue.
    I believe that once they see physical damage, their reasoning for voiding the warranty would be that visible, physical damage, irregardless of when it ocurred.

  • How to manage an iTunes library larger than the capacity of my iPod?

    I have a 40G iPOD and now my iTunes library is larger than that. When I last synched, iTunes automatically created an iPod list. I'm unclear on how the subset of songs was selected. When I add new music, do I have to manually move things in and out of this playlist, or is there some more clever trick?

    If the library is larger than the iPod, it simply selects at random, enough songs to fit.
    Here's a better way to do it yourself.
    Create a new Smart Playlist.
    Match rule My rating does not equal one star.
    Limit to 37.5 GB (or whatever) of songs at random.
    Songs you don't like rate them one star and they will not get put on the iPod or will get removed next time you sync.
    Open iTunes prefs and set to Auto update only selected playlists and select this new playlist.
    Also, any songs you do not want to go onto the iPod at all, uncheck them. I do this for podcasts, Christmas songs and such.
    When you want to change the songs, simply select this playlist in iTunes, select all the songs and press delete.
    It will empty and then fill up again based on the criteria above.
    Then connect the iPod and resync it.
    This is how I do it as I have ~12 GB of songs and 4 GB iPods.

    You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.

  • IPad 2 playing of all music videos in the folder is not possible. You can play a music video (all purchased from iTunes) but once is finished you have to manually select another one. This defeats the whole concept of having a music video library

    How could we play all music videos within the music folder in the iPad2 ? In other words, select all, choose random, and click play and all music videos will automatically play upon completion of the one been viewed without the user having to deselect another video manually (annoying interrupt).
    Currently you have to choose each music video and upon completion choose the next one manually. That defeats the whole concept of a music video library.
    This does not happen on previous iPad or MacBook Pro iTunes!!!!!
    Very annoying.

    Are you trying to read eBooks that require your Adobe ID and password?
    Adobe Reader is a PDF viewer, not an eBook reader.  You will need to find other iOS apps for reading DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected eBooks.
    Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) can be used to download and transfer eBooks to your desktop/notebook computer.  However, ADE does not support iOS or Android as of July, 2014.
