HT1151 how to clear data from a USB stick on a Mac

Hi - have removed data from a memory stick, but from a 15MB Memory stick it is only offerring 354Kb of space and saying i have not enough memory to put on any new data, Years ago before i got this Mac , i could format it - have tried researching on web which suggests i right click something which cant do on Mac Book - any any ideas how i can clean up my mountain of memory sticks? ElMcV

Try this:
With the stick plugged in, go to Finder->Applications->Utilities->Disk Utility. From there, you should see your memory stick appear in a sidebar on the left. Click on it, then click on the "erase" tab and follow the instructions.

Plug the stick and/or card into the appropriate slots on the side of your Air. Do you see icons for the devices appear on the desktop? Click into them to see what files are there.

That's one very quick way of doing it : initialize your shift registers.
What happens in your VI is that after the VI stops (when you clic the stop button) the data that is in the shift registers (your X and Y arrays) stays in memory, so if you run again the VI it will add data into those arrays.
To initialize your shift registers you need to connect en empty array to them before the while loop. Like this :

I am working on table control. I have some data on the table control.
When I press the 'Cancel' button, I require that the table-control should be cleared.
I tried using REFRESH CONTROL TC01 USING SCREEN 1001. But, the data doesn't get cleared.
Please advise.

Trouble opening Jar from USB stick on a Mac

Hi all,
Has anyone else had any problems running Jar files from a USB stick on a Mac -- directly clicking on them in the finder?
What I've found:
- I cannot run any Jar file I try if it is on a USB stick and I double-click on the jar file in my Mac
- I CAN run jar files from a CD by double-clicking
- I CAN run jar files from USB sticks on Windows directly from the window
- I CAN run jar files from a USB stick on a mac if I call "java -jar" directly from the terminal
I have tried running from USB sticks on several different Macs, and I've tried a number of different Jars that I've created over the years -- nothing works. The Java code isn't doing any path-based finding of files or anything like that.
Anyone else tried this? Are there any solutions?

Installing Snow Leopard Server From a USB Sticki

In my job, I install Snow Leopard and Snow Leopard Server three or four times a day.
With Snow Leopard, I've found it easiest to install from a USB stick. So, I did a restore from a DVD to a USB in Disk Utility and it's worked great.
With Snow Leopard Server, it is not so simple. When trying to install from a USB stick, I get "Mac OS X 10.6 Server Cannot Be Installed To This Machine." Though strangely, installing from the DVD is no problem.
I've tried to restore straight from the DVD to the USB. I've also tried to install from the DVD to a disk image to the USB. Both times, the USB will mount fine, but I get that error message.
Am I missing a trick here?

Oddly enough it is working for me. I had some issues initially so I went out and bought ONE 16GB thumb-drive (major vendor) and partitioned into two partitions.
I restored one of the partitions with 10.6 and restored the other with 10.6 server. Works flawlessly for me though I do like netinstall. It is a bit slower than the FW800 drive though I do not have to carry around a power brick.

What are you trying to transfer? What does the manual say for the Samsung to get whatever data it is that you want to transfer from one device to the other? This may be something you want to ask in a Samsung forum, since you are trying to manipulate a Samsung phone.

Environment: SQL Server 2008 R2
I have a few questions:
How would I prevent duplicate records, when/ IF SSIS is executed many times?
How would I know that all huge volume of data being loaded in the entity tables?

You can use RowCount transformation in the path where you want to capture record details. Then inside rowcount transformation pass a integer variable to get count value inside
the event handler can be configured as below
Inside Execute SQL task add INSERT statement to add rowcount to your audit table

For large data I would prefer doing this in T-SQL. So what you could do is dump data to staging table and then apply
T-SQL MERGE between tables (or even a combination of INSERT/UPDATE statements)
