I am locked out of my ipd touch and im trying to reset it. i dont care if i lose everything i just want to be able to use my apple ipod touch.

Having the same problem. Plugged into the computer, iTunes doesn't connect to it. Plugged it into the wall and the low battery bar shows up but then it goes to the black/apple screen and stays there. The screen goes black and then when it pops back on again (on its own), the apple is still there. Won't hard restart either. Halp!
