I believe if you really cant remember it, you can restore your phone by plugging it into itunes. This would wipe your data, but hopefully you've already backed up your phone via iTunes or iCloud.

Thankshave you backed up in the past with iTunes or iCloud? If so, it is possible that you will not lose this information, but I cannot guarantee anything.
Check for backups in iTunes by going to Preferences > Devices > Device backups
If you do not see any, and your iPad is still in working order, check for iCloud backups in Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup

If you can't remember the Passcode, you need to restore the device from the computer it was last synced with.
Follow the instructions for putting the device in recovery mode > iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
If you are a resident of the U.S., have iTunes 10.3 or later installed, and iOS 4.3.3 or later, can re download iTunes purchases for free.
So retore the iPod, then re download the iTunes media.

I have an iPhone4 and after being connected to my PC iTunes failed to update the IOS software. The phone display now shows the iTunes symbol and asking me to connect the lead. If I do so, iTunes detects phone in recovery mode and asks me to restore before I can use iTunes. If I select it, will it delete all my photos, videos, contacts and messages? If you had previously been backing up to iCloud (or a computer with iTunes), you would possibly have a backup. That said, if you can't turn the phone on, you cannot create a backup of the device now. Sorry.

Photogirl, that surely is only half of the alert message. You will not lose your photos; this message is alerting you to the fact, that there will be no way back. Once the library has been upgraded, you will no longer be able to open it in the previous Aperture version. So, if you have other macs with older Aperture versions, these will no longer be able to read your converted Aperture library.
When you see an alert like this, it is always wise to check, if your backup is current, before you proceed. Make sure, you have a working backup of your Aperture library, and also, of your current version of Aperture, just in case.

If i download the new OS X Mountain Lion to my Macbook Pro that has Snow Leopard, will i lose my apps and downloads (such as: Microsoft word, powerpoint, excel, oovoo, skype) and will i lose all of my pictures/documents and information?
I should just change the OS and leave all your apps and data alone. That said, if any of your apps are old and use Rosetta (ppc apps), they won't run under Mountain Lion.
Make sure you take a good Time Machine or Clone backup before you convert.

I upgraded my two Macbook Pro's yesterday to Mavericks, from OS X 10.6.4. I can't seem to open iPhoto on ONE of them. I believe it's the same on both computers, iPhoto '09. So I went in the App store and clicked upgrade my iPhoto. Now it says the library needs to be upgraded to work with this newer version of iPhoto. Help! Am I going to lose all my photos?

Check the iPhoto versions. The version number should be shown below in the "General" section of the Info panel, when you select iPhoto in the Finder and use "File > Get Info". With Mavericks you should be using iPhoto 9.5.1. You can buy the upgrade from the App Store.

No, but never do an upgrade without making a backup of your computer, just in case something is wrong.
Your photos are in your iPhoto library. After installing the upgraded version, the iPhoto Library will be upgraded to a new format, when you open it the first time in iPhoto.
If you want to use your iPhoto Library on both your computers, the iPhoto version should be the same. -

If you restore to an older backup, you will get the content that is in the backup. Everything on the iPhone will be erased and you will be brought back to the time that backup was made. Just installed 7.02 and only get itunes icon and usb cord. Why should I have to connect to itunes ? If I do, will I lose all of my photos ? Shouldn't I get free service for their software problem ?
You don't have to update to 7.02 if you don't want to, though this update does fix a few glitches in 7.0.
Before updating, you should always back up your data - it's standard practice. I've never lost pictures in an iTunes update.
Perhaps you could elaborate on the comment, "Just installed 7.02 and only got itunes icon and usb cord." What problem are you having, exactly.
Your next question confuses me. "Shouldn't I get free service for their software problem ?." What free service were you looking for? You can always go to your local Apple store for help, or ask questions here for free. -

I can not sync nano to existing itunes account
Help please? I have tried so many times and I can not get the new Ipod nano 7th Gen. to appear as a device in our exisitng Itunes account in the WIndows 7 operating system. Any suggestions? I have removed Family Sharing and reset it back on. The device does not show anywhere iin our Itunes Library or Store pages. It is driving me nuts! I purchased 2 brand new Nanos for 2 of our daughters who are impaired. They love music and I can not get the darn things to SYNC or even be RECOGNIZED. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

ITunes Store not responding to iCloud in iTunes account
I recently purchased a Macbook Air, I've set up everything but my iTunes keeps coming up with an error when I try to re-download my purchased music from my iTunes account.
I go into my iTunes account and then into 'Purchased' so I can download these into the iTunes and it comes up with this:
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-45054)"
Can anyone help me with this? This music that I have downloaded from iTunes, I have not got a CD copy because I didn't think I'd every need it but now I run into this problem.
Also how am I suppose to get the menu bar to show on iTunes?, the iTunes help says to press alt button but it doesn't do anythingLooks like I am not the only one. I just purchased an album and cannot download it. I can check for my purchased music, but it keeps timing out when I am downloading my music. If this takes as long as others on here have experienced I will stop the payment for the album at the bank and file a complaint with the attorney generals office. If they can demand their money up front then I can demand decent customer service!!!!
