HT1212 I forgot my password for my phone and it won't let me restore from an earlier date because its saying its locked. How can I figure out the forgotten password?

I can't get in my phone and this is sooo frustratingt
The only way to get passed it is by entering the correct passcode. If you are unable to the you need to follow how to restore via recovery with the article you referenced. Once you restore to factory settings you will then be able to restore from back up.

You can bring your phone and a credit card into Apple for an out of warranty exchange ($149 in the US) or you can try and find a 3rd party repair shop in your area. -
I am not good with technology at all. I upgraded my 3GS to a 4S and now it won't back up to my iCloud. it keeps telling me that the icloud is full and I don't have enough room to back it up.I was wondering if there is away to delete the old back ups in order to free up space?
If you no longer need the backups, you can delete them by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of device you want to delete the backup for (under Backups at the top), then tap Delete Backup. This will permanently delete it from your account, freeing up the storage it occupies.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the iPhone is searchiong for a network. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. There are a few steps listed in this article you did not mention trying, they may be able to help the issue.

If You Are Locked Out Or Have Forgotten Your Passcode or Just Need to Restore Your Device
1. iTunes 10 for Mac- Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
2. iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
3. iOS- Understanding passcodes
If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). If you have movie rentals on the device, see iTunes Store movie rental usage rights in the United States before restoring.
Follow these steps to restore your device:
1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
2. Connect your device to your computer.
3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
4. Select the Summary tab.
5. Select the Restore option.
6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up
option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not
necessary to create another.

If you are restoring to fix a forgotten Restrictions Code or as a New device, then skip Step 9 and restore as New. -

If you can't reach the previous owner or he/she is unwilling to cooperate, then the device is unusable by you. Return the iPhone for a refund if you can.

Sounds like then maybe a "friend" got hold of your phone and set a SIM card password. Not much you can do if that is the case if you do not know the password except go to your carrier and request a new SIM card.

I havev installed a new Hard Drive on my laptop but cannot find my Photoshop Elements product box with the serial number to install Elements 10 or Elememts Premier 10. How can I find out the serial / installation codes for these? I saw a reply however, it was not my name and assumed it was for someone else. Now timed out. If you registered PSE before, go to the main page of adobe.com, sign in and go to your account and you should find the serial number there in your purchases.

Based on that comment, I would suggest you recreate the PDF from that app. Apparently there is something in the app that set the security. You would have to check with the app if security continues to be set as to the password. You might try a blank password or our OS password (but take care you are not sending your passwords out by way of some JavaScript).
