Hi . I have forgotten my new passcode on my iphone and also have the find my iphone activated! Is there anything I can do to fix this? I started to restore it on my computer but it won't let me go past the find my iphone activation part. also i am wondering if there is something beginning to go wrong with it as i cannot switch it off and it only gave me one chance with the passcode before it activated? Thanks
sadly you cant, the only option you have is to put into recovery mode and restore device. look for article ht1808 here on apple site

I have forgotten my restrictions passcode even though I cannot remember setting one, I have read that I need to reset my I pad2 but when I try to do this it asks for it again please help this is driving me nuts
Note that if the backup was made with the forgotten Restrictions passcode on the iPod, restoring the iPod from backup will also restore the the unknown Restrictions passcode. Thereore, a restore to factory defaults/new iPad is usually required.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Hold Sleep/Wake button down and slide to turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...Re-Sync your Content

All media and apps on the device should already be in iTunes on the computer.
If you have forgotten the restrictions passcode, the ONLY option is to restore as new.
Then sync back any media, apps, contacts, etc back to the device.
You can not restore from backup as the restrictions passcode is included in the backup. -
my iPhone 4 is running ios 7.0.4. I have a slightly eccentric back story to all of this; but basically i set a secondary entry passcode on my phone and i have forgotten the secondary passcode; it appears as though i no longer have the opportunity to enter the code after too many failed attempts -- "iphone is disabled, connect to itunes." i have connected to itunes on itunes on both 11.1 and 11.3 versions (my computer says 11.1 is the minimum requirement for my phone to sync) and attempted to restore my phone; THE RESULTING MESSAGE: "The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build." HOW THE HECK DO I GAIN ENTRY TO MY PHONE AGAIN AND GET SOME USE OUT OF IT. IT DID COST $$$ TO BUY. PLZ HELP!

It sounds like you are unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi suddenly on 2 different iOS devices. I would be interested to know if the affected phones are able to connect to a different Wi-Fi connection, but barring that I would use the following article to help troubleshoot the devices and the Wi-Fi connection:

Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
