Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

You may need to try this More than Once...
Some users have reported as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.
Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
But... if the Device has been Modified... this will Not necessarily work.

Sounds like your iPhone was hacked to unlock and now updating locks back to the original carrier.

If you have not taken the iPod apart, Apple will exchange it for a refurbished one for $99. You can do it an an Apple store

Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
Also check Settings > General > Restrictions to see if it has been restricted.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

When I select "plugin check" for updates, I have received a "try again later" error message for the last three days.

My 3rd Gen Ipod Touch was undergoing a software update when it stopped and itunes threw up a message saying "Update cannot be completed due to an unknown error". I disconnected and reconnected the ipod, and itunes suggested I restore the ipod. I started the restore and it froze midway and again said "Cannot be completed due to unknown error". The ipod is now frozen with the apple logo and an empty progress bar. It is not responding to anything. Windows is recognising it by opening Itunes but Itunes is not showing the divice in the pane. I dont know what to do! Please help!

I like do DL the single of the week, as there is quite an eclectic range of songs comming from there.
For the last 3 weeks I have been getting an error saying something like this.
We could not execute your iTunes request, The resource was not found. --> Losely transelated from Norwegian.
Screenshot of the error if there are any norwegians here with simular problem.

Hi I'm Zeina Halim. I have an iPad 4 and I forgot its password. So I kept trying over and over again till it said iPad is disabled connect to iTunes. One problem I've never synced my iPad and apple is telling me the only way to reset the password is to erase all data from the iPad. thanks for the help, adobe has notified me that it will not work in firefox, and to please use a different browser, loaded up google chrome and it works fine...hum??? i really like and recommend mozilla firefox. this problem needs to be addressed by firefox and fixed instead of passing it off as a user problem..
