-Home buttom down (While off) and put the cable into the phone = Itunes promt for the phone need to be unlocked
What can i do?!
Please, than

Sorry for the clarification
Once removed from iCloud - how did you try to restore the phone?
Did you hold the home button down continuously as you attached to a running instance of iTunes and then let go the home button to see the iTunes logo and the lightning connector image on the phone?

  • My iphons says iPhone is disabled please connect to iTunes but iTunes is asking for my passcode which i can not key into phone

  • IPhone stuck on "Please Connect to iTunes"

So I attempted the update. Received an error message (I beleive 2003). Now the iPhone itself is stuck on the "Please Connect to iTunes" message with the yellow exclamation point sign. I beleive I'm attempting to reset the iPhone correctly (top button and home button held down).
Even after a reboot I still get the same dialog.
Problem is, after a PC reboot, different USB ports, iTunes can not see the iPhone. Windows sees it, but iTunes does not. I'm confident I could get this thing to work if I can re-apply the update, or even reboot the phone.
    Any insight?

OK, updated itunes to latest version. It saw the Iphone and said it must be restored, etc. Attempted a restore, and it gave me the dialog that an error occured and that this iPhone cannot be restored. Sheesh.
I'm leaving it plugged in, letting iTunes "do its thing" as you say, however, I think that patience and trust work better with human beings
Edit: Ok, three attempted restorations and three "Iphone could not be restored (Error 1604)" dialogs. Hrmmm...this is troubling.
Please tell me all my contact info isn't lost....

  • Iphone died. "please connect to itunes" message. iphone recovery no go.

After 3 days of working fine, my iphone died. it only shows "Please connect to itunes". iTunes does not recognize phone (Windows asks for "iphone (recovery mode)" device driver). I tried holding all button combinations down for many seconds (reset) to no avail.
I'm stuck. And I'm out of town for a week without a cell phone (in NYC). I hope to get a replacement fast. Is this common? I barely used the phone.

I had that problem, upgrading to the latest iTunes (7.3.1) and QuickTime fixed it.

  • Re: while updating to ios 6.1.2 my iphone got lock showing connect to itunes, what i have to do so not loose my all data

sir this reply i received from you -
" You're welcome. Once you phone is in recovery mode, as is is now, you no longer have the option to back it up. Your only now is to restore it. Restoring the phone will erase it, then give you the option at the end to set it up as a new iPhone or restore it to an existing iTunes or iCloud backup, if one exists. If you don't have an existing backup, I'm afraid that unfortunately your data will be lost."
    My answer -
sir i have icloud account also, and i login in my icloud account on my laptop in icloud.com and i checked there contacts which i had in my iphone that all are available in icloud website in my account.
that means i have backup right? but how i can check my other data , means messages and photos?
please help me to how i can get backup through icloud after restoring my iphone? i will be very glad and helpful by you if you can send me the easy process to take back up from icloud
    please reply soon
    thanks and regards,
    vishal.

  • IPhone is locked on Connect To iTunes screen.

Extremly frustrating, I was just simply updating my phone to the new OS, and suddenly comes up with an error message, and me in my all infinite wisdom, ignore it and continued. And boom, iPhone 4 locked curretly on the Connect To iTunes. I don't know if the iPhone is being sarcastic and trolling me, since it's not even reconsied on the computer at all, not even as a connected device, Comes up with the USB sound..but nothing is showing. Yes, I've reset it, held down the power button, held down the home button, connected it on and off, switched USB cables, powered it up, reset iTunes, checked if the Apple Mobile was current, reset that, tried to update that, reset computer once again, tried to reset it again, held down the home button while connected for another 30 minutes..and nothing!! Fuming so hard now. I doubt i'd get a new one, and I booked a callback which will cost me a mint most likely and probably wont even fix it.
    Sigh
Any tips guys? Sorry for the rant. It's just really upsetting.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • IPhone keeps saying "Please Connect to ITunes" and does nothing else

I have it connected to the computer with ITunes running and it will not do anything. I have tried updating ITunes, restarting my computer, etc., and nothing works. I cannot get it to sync either. This is my work computer. My main ITunes computer is at home and I can't access it right now.
What can I do to where I can use my phone???? Please help.
    Thanks.
    E

If nothing is working, and you've made sure you have the latest version of iTunes. I'd take the phone into your nearest Apple Store. If you don't want to go there yet, call 1-800-MY-IPHONE. They may have tricks to help you.

You've managed to permanently damage the phone. As gdgmacguy suggests, buy a new one. Preferably from a legitimate source.
You may also want to keep in mind that it is illegal to use the Gevey SIM in pretty much every country on the planet. It may still be legal on the continent of antarctica, but that's only because penguins don't use cell phones as a rule.

  • IPhone disabled please connect to iTunes. Please help mee

    Hello
My son has typed in my passcode wrong on my iPhone 5 and it says 'iPhone disabled please connect to iTunes'
I had rung O2, and they said that the only thing they can do is do a restore on the phone but then everything will be deleted
I'm not bothered about the apps getting deleted, it's the photos and videos I am most worried about because they are of my 4 month old daughter since birth and these are the only photos that I have of her. I have only sent around 20 photos to family and friends so if I lose all these photos on my phone then I will only have 20. There are over 2000 pictures of her on my phone so I really really need to get them back
I don't have iTunes, I have never downloaded it or anything. I have always taken my pictures off just by plugging my phone into the computer, going to My Computer and copy and pasting them like that but I have not done this in 2 months and there are so many photos and videos that will be lost.
I downloaded iTunes, logged in using my email and password but every time I connect my phone it keeps saying for me to put my password in on the phone but the numbers aren't on the phone screen.
Is there any way I can get my photos back?
Can Apple get them back for me?
    Please help

There is no way to get your photos back if you didn't save them to your computer, or back up your iPhone to your computer, or back up your iPhone to iCloud, or enable PhotoStream for your iPhone, or upload them to FaceBook or Picasa or DropBox or Box or Flickr or Shutterfly. In other words, there are at least a dozen ways you can preserve photos, and if you didn't do any of them they are lost.
One reason to sync to iTunes is iTunes will "remember" your phone, so if you ever lose your passcode you can just Restore using iTunes and it will remove the passcode AND restore your most recent backup.

Delete the .ipsw file on the computer.
Put the device in DFU mode.
Restore as new, once the restore completes, then try restoring from backup.
