HT1212 it refuses to let me restore my ipod touch, does anyone know how to restore it?

my parents bought me an ipod touch 4th gen for christmas, it has been working fine. I changed my passcode and i forgot it. I tried entering what i thought my passcode was, but i entered it many times wrong. soon a message came up on my screen and said, "ipod disabled connect to itunes" After reading that i connected to itunes hoping to restore it, it said, "can not restore, due to undetected errors." I am very disappointed because i went to the apple store asking them to help me fix it. They said the didnt know how to it can no longer work. I need help i spent a good amount of money for a working product. What i got is NOT working. I am very unsatisfied. APPLE NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER AND HELP. i am not the only one this has happened to but i will not buy another apple product until they start helping, i will stop using all my apple prducts and i will NOT reccommend any apple products to anyone until they get it together, and fix this problem. now APPLE do you think you can help now? i am VERY UNSATISFIED WITH YOUR SERVICES AND PRODUCTS. Now that i can finally get my thoughts out, now that apple has made me make this public, are you willing to do something about it? Your Apple store refused to help me, now im making this public, i suggest you start helping and solve this problem before you loose more customers. thank you for your time. Get back to me before i make an even bigger deal about this and take it to the head of your company.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Wow! I think I had this same issue just last night.
I was cleaning my macbook pro retina on the outside. Then I opened it up and was wiping dust off the monitor and I can't pinpoint exactly when, but the colors changed suddenly. It looked super strange, it was like green halo's and it looked worse when looking at it at an angle. Of course I took no pictures!!! I was freaking out that my 2 grand laptop was busted and I somehow removed a protective film or something.
But I digress... The image looked very green and spacey, it was almost a neat effect. After about 5 minutes it started to look a little more digital though. There were straight lines of this halo effect on the edges and top. After about 10 minutes it turned into a predominate issue with the blacks on screen. I could open a web browser and it was unnoticable on a white background. After about 15 minutes, you could only barely see the green cloud effect if you looked at the monitor from an extreme angle. After about 20 minutes, it was completely back to normal, I almost feel paranoid like I see a halo or something strange. But I believe that might be all in my head now.
So yerp, lemme know what you guys figure out.

The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in earlier versions there is only one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Repeat with this line:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
