Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. You may have already done this.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -
My iTuens account was hacked in June. I have changed my pasword and method of payment but my account is still showing as disabled.
I have sent at least 3 emials to Customer Service with no reply.
What do I do?Contact the Apple account security team for your country and request assistance: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. If you can prove your identity to them, they can reset the password and help you regain control of the account.

Nope that's not it, I always use that particular ID, but the @me.com portion of the Apple ID is missing when trying to download from the App Store on the Phone.
It is grayed out inside the App Store app so I can't change it there and I already changed it in the settings.
The entire Apple ID is fine in the Settings so I don't get why the App Store ID is different and missing information. -
The ringtones purchased on iTunes simply disappeared from the iPhone 4S, were visible for a while on iTunes on the iMac, when the iPhone was connected but greyed out, I can't see it anymore though. I've tried to download it again from iTunes on the iPhone, but it only tells me "this item has been purchased before, would you like to buy it again?". Of course I don't want to pay twice something I've already paid for. Any idea how to get this fixed so I can use those ringtones again? Thanks in advance!
Uncheck them in the iTunes > Tones sync settings and sync, then check them again and sync.

Forced to change Apple ID during 5.0 update. App Store still prompting for old ID's pasword.
Updated my iPhone 4 from 4.02 to 5.0. During the process I was required to change my Apple ID from a single name to my email address, and reset the password. Now when I try to update apps it prompts me for the password to my old Apple ID.
I've also logged out and back into iTunes on my PC, and in the App Store on the iPhone.
I'm guessing it's because all my apps were downloaded under the old Apple ID. But the underlying account is still the same one, isn't? How do I 'migrate' all my apps to appear under the renamed ID?

they show in my computer on the phone but if you want to sync it a box pops up and says that if you sink ringtones you will loose the music... anyone have a clue??
Same thing happened to me. Including pictures, music, and apps. And I don't know how to put the ringtone back on either.

HT201272 why is itunes app store still showing prices for previous purchases?
I have not had this problem until recently. prior to today, I could go into iTunes App Store and a show or movie I already own is available for download but now it shows the cost. I dare click on it for fear of being double billed. This is frustrating because iTunes just started allowing us to access our purchased content without connecting to the computer and downloading them as often as we wanted. Is this problem affecting others or just me?
I started having the same problem yesterday.
In fact, I just now downloaded a free app. With the app now on my PC, it still shows that it is "free" rather than "downloaded" on the iTunes app page. I moved the .jpa file out of the default folder, and refreshed the app page in iTunes. Similarly, it does not show a "download" option like it should. It makes re-downloading apps that I have paid for in the past difficult if there is not the "download" bar to indicate that I am entitled to the app.
It's probably related, but at one point last night I had a bunch of apps with available updates. I tried to go to the iTunes page on my PC to view the apps with updates. At that point I got a pop-up window stating that I did not have any updates available, and it has been zero ever since. I did not download the updates, nor did all of the apps disappear from the iTunes catalog.
I have an iPad 2 and recently got an iPod Touch. I want to re-download some non HD apps for the Touch that I ditched for HD versions on the iPad. I, too, do not want to be re-billed. -

It appears the only way to get help concerning a .mac issue is by emailing them and waiting 24 hours or trying this discussion board. Anyone know of way to call them?
ThanksThanks Duane, Does anyone else find it disturbing that you can't call .mac with support issues? I guess it's a matter of pragmatism on apple's part. What if you can't receive email? How do they help you? Or what if you have an immediate problem like a business that depends on its email etc. ?
I use Mac b/c it is user friendly and a pretty darn good system and I am a computer idiot. But if something goes wrong, where's the help? -
hi, i took tons of pics on my ipod touch and the last couple of months i didnt update the photos using the icloud due to missing icloud space and forgot to actually purchase for more space . Now my ipod got stolen and wondering if there is anything the pics could be restored somehow? any help is greatly appreciated
RosaIf they aren't backed up to iCloud or iTunes, and you didn't import them to your computer, there's no way to get them back.

I changed my email address for my Apple ID. When I want to use iCloud my iPhone doesn't seem to recognize my new email it keeps asking for my password for my old email. I can't update the new address it keeps defaulting to my old one.

First I would like you to try the instructions below to sign out of your iCloud account, and then sign in with your new Apple ID.
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.

Go to Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:

Tap “Keep on My [Device]” or “Delete from My [Device].” In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I Changed my apple ID two days ago and verified it threw my email. When I try to download an app it still shows my old apple is and won't let me download. am I doing something wrong?
OK, so did you change to the new ID on your device in:
Settings>iTunes & App Store
Settings>iCloud (if you did not delete the old iCloud account before you changed your Apple ID, then post back for instructions on how to delete it)
Settings>Messages>Send & Receive
Settings>FaceTime
You need to sign out the old Apple ID in all of these places and sign on the new one.
