HT1212 My daughter's Iphone 4 locked while in the middle of changine the password. Now we can't get any password to work. Hooking it up to the computer and trying to reset the phone it tells me to turn off Find My Phone first. I can't. Help?
My daughter's Iphone 4 locked in the middle of changing her password. Now the old or the new passwords do not work. When trying to restore setting hooked up to the computer it says to enter the passcode on the phone first. I can't! Any help?

If the device had Find My iPhone activated, yes. Otherwise, no, you don't need your Apple ID & Password, just because of iOS 7.
To access iCloud or iTunes, etcetera, yes. But that's no different than in iOS 6.

I have an iMac model 4,1 running OSX 10.6.8. The CD/DVD drive went bad and I have replaced it. However I can not get disks to eject. I have asked about this before and tried all all the suggestions I have received but I can not eject.
Yesterday I opened up the iMac and reinstalled the drive to make sure that it was not an alignment problem. I still can not eject. When I try to eject the drive makes noises like it is ejecting but the disk does not come out.

How do I set/reset my passcode on my iPhone 6 Plus?

IF you know that, try restart your iPhone if it doesnt work try restoring your device. If it doesnt work again, you have hardware problem. Try changing your screen. -

I bought an IPhone 3gs and tried to reset the APN through Strait Talk Wireless but when I click on settings then "General" tab they tell me to click on the "Network" tab but there is not a "Network" tab? After Network, I was supposed to go to Cellular Data Settings but I can't find the Network tab under the General tab. Need to turn off Find My Phone.
I installed 7.0.6 on my 4S yesterday and today my screen is not responding. I've tried syncing the phone to iTunes and everything backs up; however, when I click restore I receive a message stating that I have to turn off Find My Phone before I can proceed. Since I cannot get into my phone (except via Siri) I tried to log in through the iCloud website/iTunes and delete the app from the phone but that didn't work. I also noticed that the phone thinks that I have headphones connected when I do not.
Currently I can reset the phone but I cannot turn it off, I can access the iCloud settings on the phone via Siri but I can't scroll to turn off Find My Phone.
I'm not sure how to proceed from here but any help is appreciated.You can access iCloud.com on a computer to turn it off.

Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then follow these steps:
Sign in to iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Click All Devices to open a list of devices linked to your account, then select the device to be removed.
Click the Erase button to erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, don't enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device is erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.

How do I turn off "find my phone" when phone is dead
I washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it. I can't find anyway to get around this. Please help anyone.
