Please help, and forward the answer to [email protected] as well.
    Thanks.

    Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

It seems that you have to reset your password through this link https://iforgot.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/DSiForgot.woa/wa/iforgot?app_type=e xt&app_id=93&returnURL=https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.wo a&language=US-EN

  • I have entered the passcode wrong many time my iphone has been disabeld how can i open it

i have entered the passcode wrong many time my iphone has been disabeld how can i open it

you will have to wait until you can try again,
i believe the only way if you don't know the passcode is to factory reset through itunes which you will lose everything from your phone if it hasn't been backed up

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.

Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. Then hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually takes less than 20 seconds holding both buttons. Restore Firmware.

my i phone is saying iphone disabled as i enterd the passlock to many times i need help please

If you forgot (or don't know) your passcode, restore the device from backup on the last computer it was synced with when the passcode was turned on... this will remove the passcode.
If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, or you don't have a backup, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.  At this point, you will lose all data on the phone.
See this for more info... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

If you have an iTunes backup that includes the photos you may be able to extract them from the backup using a 3rd party utility such as http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/ibackupextractor/

My daughter has entered the wrong passcode too many times on her iPOD Touch, it is now disabled.  When I connect to iTunes, it will not let me go any further until I enter the correct passcode.  I no longer get the option to do this, all I get is iPOD disabled.  Help Please

Restore the iPod from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
If that will not work, you'll need to put the iPod into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:

Hi! I am having the same problem. What's odd is that a few days ago- the ipad was connecting to the network fine. No changes made. Other devices can connect to this network. I have also been able to connect my ipad to other networks.
I have reset all network settings, reset my ipad, reset the router, hard stop reboot, turn on/off wifi connection. what's interesting is that when i click the arrow next to the network i am trying to log onto- the ip address, router, and dns numbers come up automatically and the router number does not fill in (also- this process takes a long time- at least 5 minutes).
    any thoughts?
