    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Take your MacBook Air to an Apple Store or reseller to have your display replaced. If you want, you can buy the display yourself and install it, but as you can see, that's expensive > http://www.ifixit.com/MacBook-Parts/MacBook-Air-13-Inch-Mid-2012-Display-Assembl y/IF188-083?utm_source=ifixit_guide&utm_medium=guide_intro&utm_content=required_ items&utm_term=macbook_air_13%22_mid_2012

  • My ipad will not respond, and when i try to shut it down it won't what can I do?

All of a suuden my ipad would not respond to taps, or any manipulation. When I tried to shut it down, the swipe for shut down would not respond. any ideas? what might be problem ? and what can/should I do? Thanks

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
You won't have to swipe anything on the screen to reboot the iPad. Hopefully this will correct the error.

  • Cannot remotely program DVR from browser and iPad, get "not responding" and "bad gateway"

Like others I've seen here, my remote DVR programming has disappeared, it used to work just fine from both the web and my iPad. I now get both "not responding" and "bad gateway" messages. I've tried everything I've seen suggested, including using the in-home agent for both "auto-fix common DVR issues" and "set top box auto correction", and rebooting the FiOS router. The self-diagnostics are all green, and it says that listener 1 is running. However, I still have the problems. From what I've read, there's a remapping process that can be run in the Verizon office that fixes the problem. Can this be done for me? Thanks!

  • I updated my ipad 2 from 4.3.3 to 5.1.1 and unable to do so. now, the ipad is not responding and indicates no capacity, software and serial number. As such, unable to restore device. Any advice/assistance will be appreciated.

I updated my ipad 2 OS4.3.3 to 5.1.1 recently. Unfortunately, was not able to restore the device. I seem to have lost the ipad's info like: Name, Capacity, Serial Number and Software Version in the process. Despite repeated attempts, the device displays error messages to account for not being able to update and restore the same. Any advice/assistance will be much appreciated.

Try DFU mode (Google is your friend, here is a link to one way:
    http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034)
If that does not restore your iPad, contact Apple or your local
    Apple Authorized Service Provider.
Your iPad wasn't jailbroken previous to the upgrade, was it?
Jailbreaking can cause instability and other problems with
    upgrades.

  • My IPad Doesn't respond and let me pass the ICloud backkup note after I click the OK botton.

    Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
BTW - backup the iPad like you should. That will keep the message from reappearing.

  • Reset all settings and contants ipad. Now ipad is not open?why?on the screen always apple icon.

reset all settings and contants ipad. Now ipad is not open?why/ on the screen always apple icon.

Why would you do that? That's not how you deal with issues on your iPad, that's how you deal with problems on poorly designed Windows machines.
    Try this First...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...

  • Firefox is already actif but does not respond. and even after changing the default properties the problem comes back (Read-only)

everytime I close Firefox, it select the option "Read-only".
I stop the proces via Task management and then I can start Firefox again. I close it and the "Red-only" option is back again.

Do you get this error only after closing and restarting Firefox or always?
    In case of the latter:
Do you still have a default profile and is the profile as you see in the profiles.ini file marked as "Default=1" still present?
Try to delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new profiles.ini file and a new default profile.

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
    Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

  • My ipad will not scroll and in order to do anything i have to triple touch any icon or letter for the thing to respond. how do i get these functions back?

I was watching a video online yesterday on my ipad, closed the cover to move to another location when I opened the cover back up my ipad was acting funny.  Now I can't get the scroll function to work and to get any of the buttons to work I need to triple tap them.  Tried to reset by holding down the sleep button and the open/close buttons at the same time but all that does is alternate between a black screen and a screen with the apple logo.
If i let the battery run all the way down when I recharge will that reset the device?  any other suggestions on what to do?

It sounds like you had Voice Over enabled in the Accessibilty Settings. Are you are able to start the iPad now? It sounds like that is an issue as well.
This explains how to turn Voice Over off and on.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064
You don't need or necessarily want to let the battery run down at all. If you let the battery run down and then recharge, that will not reset the device.
If the iPad is not responding at all, look through this for help in order to get the iPad up and running again, and then you can deal with Voice Over.
