HT1212 my iphone 4 isnt working,more in description,help please!

Question

So,i dropped my phone,but caught it,it barely hit the floor,if at all,and it was on the backside,WITH a case. It was at 5% or so last time i checked before i dropped it. So i made sure it was ok and thought nothing of it. Then it wasnt turning on so i assumed it had died and plugged it in. I heard it buzz for whenever it turns on after dying, but the screen was still black. So i asked my friend in the room to try to call me,text me,and facetime me,it rang but never was recieved,ringtone didnt go off or anything. So turned it off then on. nothing.
I dont know what to do,i sometimes get voice contrl somehow when trying to hold down the home button and lock button,so i told it to "call sarah" (friend in the room) and it did, i talked to her and she heard me clear and i heard her perfectly fine,but my screen was still black. I plugged it into my computer and it reconized the phone but said it was in recorvery mode or something. earlier this morning,my alarm for school went off, but my screen was still black. i stopped it by pressing the volume button. if i press the lock button the screen just barely lights up,to a lighter shade of still pitch black. I tried letting the battery run out,and nothing happened, so as of now its plugged in. i havent gone to fix it just yet. i have a feeling it might have black screened or crashed possibly? it worked just fine before and nothing has happened previously.
  Any suggestions on what to do?????

Take it to Apple, if they do not fix or replace it for you (there's a good chance they won't), take it to a third party to diagnose and fix the problem. You may need to just replace the screen.
