As I stated before you do not get iTunes 11 on your ipad. Are you getting a message on your works computer to update iTunes on the computer from version 11 to 11.1? If you select not to update iTunes, can you still sync your ipad to iTunes 11?

I am using 3.6 because I like how it spreads out my toolbars instead of just giving me the bookmarks in the corner and the lonesome firefox in the opposite corner. IOS8 - How can I "inhibit" the update process?

Hi, I need to know if there is a way to block \ inhibit the iOS update process.
I can't block the web site http://mesu.apple.com/assets/com_apple_MobileAsset_SoftwareUpdate/com_apple_Mobi leAsset_SoftwareUpdate.xml
in the internet proxy or in the career network because we work in multinational environment.
We have the AFARIA MDM and we tried to configure a policy to block the web site above reported.
The device receive correctly the policy and if we try to open that web site in SAFARI we are not able to open it, but we are able to update iOS... so it seems that the device goes to some other sites to update iOS.
We need to inhibit the iOS8 update process because some of our applications are not yet certificated with iOS8.
Please help us.

The only way i've read about preventing the ios8 download it to "trust" the user's not to update or blocking the internet web site ( mesu.apple.com ) / ip address.

You cannot update a 2nd-generation iPod touch to iOS 6.x, if that's what you're asking. iOS 4.2.1 is the last version a 2nd-gen iPod can run.
If that doesn't answer your question, please post back and explain in more detail what it is you are trying to accomplish and where things are going wrong.

You will need to hold down the power + sleep button, wait for restart, then hold home. iTunes should then be in DFU mode. Once in DFU mode connect to iTunes and click "Restore". PRESTO!

1) Forget downloading the application from the device, and instead download it through iTunes and sync to transfer the application to your iPhone / iPad.
2) Other way is: Go to Application Settings> Store and tap above the Apple ID to sign out. Restart your iPhone / iPad, go back to Settings> Store and sign. Tap the icon that was waiting to update the application.

Do you have a bootable clone from prior to the update? If so, roll back with that.
Are your apps that won't open PPC and do they need Rosetta? Do you need to activate Rosetta?
Have you considered reinstalling 10.6 from your install disc and then coming forward with the 10.6.8 Combo Updater, then doing software update and not including whatever it was you installed that caused this propblem?

The D7100 requires camera raw 7.4 which is not compatible with Photoshop Elements 10.
Your two main options are
1) Buy a newer version of Photoshop Elements
2) Use the Adobe DNG converter to convert the NEF files to DNG files which can then be used by Photoshop Elements 10.

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

How can i view the Streams process through 10g OEM

I have successfully configured OEM on Oracle 10.1.0.3
My question is:
How can i view the Streams processes and queues so that i could monitor its functionality.
In 9i Java Console OEM I was able to monitor Streams using the <Distributed> tab but I don't find any such option in 10g. Please help.

There's a message on the Database Administration page of EM10g.
"TIP Use the Enterprise Manager 10g Java Console to manage Streams, Advanced Replication, Advanced Queues, XML Database, Spatial and Workspace."
At present there is no way through the EM10g Web Interface, and I understand the Java version which comes with 10g doesn't contain any 10g new features.
So I am still using OEM 9.2 in addition to EM10g

You can't delete the update and your problem probably is not in the Update.
Check to see if Location Services is turned ON. (Settings > Privacy > Location Services)
What model iPad Mini do you have? WiFi or WiFi + Cellular
