HT1222 how to downgrade java se 6 update 33 to update 29

Friends,
Currently my mac using lion os x 10.7.3, and accidently upgrade its java se 6 update 29 to update 33.
Because of this, my internet banking can not work because it only support up update 29.
Can somebaody help me to rolled it back to update 29.
Unfortunatelly I havenot back up my mac before updating the java.
Thanks in advance.
Andreas

I would think you need to Uninstall Java completely and then reinstall Java and only Update it as far as the "Update 29" version.
Hope this helps

Cannot be done. Downgrading is not an option.
What is the issue you think downgrading would address? Perhaps there are other approaches.

It's asking you to create a passcode. You can turn it off later if you wish.

  • HT1222 how can i cancel the iOS 7.2 update?

    please let me know..

When battery isues exist, it's almost always the way we use the software.
Have you tried the things recommended here:  http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html
Pay special attention to the Wi-Fi vs Celluar thing. And the background app refresh. And location services.
Also, try a reset of your network settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Reconnect to your Wi-Fi network and go from there.
Instead of blaming the software, it's wisest to work on the issues that present themselves.
And killhippie is 60000% correct. Downgrading is very, very not good. Luckly, Apple doesn't support that.

  • Help needed I updated my ipad2 with iOS5 but few of my dashbaords are not working now can any one let me know how to downgrade the OS

Help needed I updated my ipad2 with iOS5 but few of my dashbaords (HTML5) are not working now ,can any one let me know how to downgrade the OS as we have a meeting coming up .. its urgent

Downgrading the iOS is not supported. If you are using Safari this try clearing its cache via Settings > Safari.
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • I can not get any updates and therefor not use Java as it only run updates for Mac 10.7. and later? How do i get the updates to install and use Java?

I can not get ny updates and therefore not use Java, as it only run updates for MAC 10.7. and later. How do i get the updates to install and use JAVA ?

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
    java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)
    The latest version is 1.6.0_65.

  • How to downgrade from latest update?

So I'm an avid gamer. There's a game I quite like, called Heritage for the Future.  It's a fighting game.
Now, here's the thing. The newest update allowed us to use keyboard shortcuts at all times, which is meh if I wasn't playing games. The thing with the fighting game is, the keybinds I have (ASDFZ for attack, arrow keys for movement, it's the default keybinds), mess up with the spotify thing. AKA, if I do a special where I hit the down arrow key, left and down arrow key, and then the left arrow key, along with F, it makes the current playlist go back, and starts a song. This is very annoying if I'm doing a PvP match or a PvComputer match, since there's no direct keybind for pausing.  And even if it's minimized, it still does this. Any way to remove keybinds or how to downgrade, with the exception of changing the Heritage for the Future keybinds (since those are the only ones i use)?

My office has an old Mac Mini for QA testing. It came with 10.5 or 10.6.
Click on the Apple Menu's "About This Mac," then click the "More Info" button, with "Hardware" selected on the left, identify the "Model Identifier" and post it here. "It came with 10.5 or 10.6," is not enough to identify your options for using Lion or ML.
    Example: MacBookPro 3,1

  • Java keeps asking to be updated How do I stop this?

Why does Java keep asking to be updated after installing Yosemite?

It's likely that something installed in your system is looking for Apple's version of Java.

  • HT1222 How do I update my first generation iPad without the software update button in the general settings menu?

When I go to my app store the store will load but nothing within the store will load. I haven't updated my Ipad in a long time because the computer died I would use. I have tried different things but can not find a way to update to the new operating systems which is what I believe is causing my problems in the app store.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button
    Updating to iOS 5+ : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4972
A first gen iPad should update to iOS 5.1.1 (which is the only version that is 'signed' by Apple).

  • Downgrade Java runtime

    Hi,
There is a bug in Java 1.5.0_16, which is the latest version of java you can get for OS 10.4. Here is a link to the bug:
    http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/viewbug.do;jsessionid=f1599cc25b40affffffffb376d6387cb2eb0?bugid=6746185
I think the problem is fixed in Java 1.6, but you can only get that if you have OS 10.5
The bug makes some Java WebStart apps unusable for me (crash on startup). So, I would like to downgrade my version of Java to "release 6" (which gives me 1.5.0_13). How can I do that? I've tried downloading and installing release 6, but it tells me that I "do not need that update" (how helpful).
Will Apple be releasing 1.5.0_17 (which contains the fix)? Or, is there a way to downgrade Java without reinstalling the OS (dear God).
    Please help!
    Thanks in advance,
    Brian.

OK, here are some shortened instructions on how to make this work:
Open the Terminal and navigate to /System/Libraries/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions
    Type in these commands:
    sudo rm -rf 1.5
    sudo rm -rf 1.5.0
    sudo rm -rf A
    sudo rm -rf Current
    sudo rm -rf CurrentJDK
You'll be asked for your password after the first one.
Download the java release that you want. eg, release 6 is here: Download release 6 from here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/javaformacosx104relea se6.html
Here are some related instructions I found about reverting from 1.6 (aka version 6) to 1.5:
    http://weblogs.java.net/blog/joshy/archive/2007/11/howto_removej.html
I'm all set now, hope this helps someone else. Thanks again to BDAqua for the help

  • How to: Downgrade from OS 9.2.1 to OS 9.1 or Earlier

Been looking everywhere for an answer...
I have a PowerBook 2400c, won't boot into anything over OS 9.1. I have installed onto a hard drive OS 9.2.1 and now I have just learned it is not compatible with pre-G3 machines. I get an error message when trying to boot into OS 9.2.1 on the 2400c that the system is not supported, and it is overlayed the OS 9.2 Boot Window.
Since I only have a full, retail OS 9.2.1 install CD, and nothing earlier, I am looking for a way to downgrade it to OS 9.1. I tried to just install the 9.1 update overtop the 9.2.1 system, but it will only install it overtop OS 9.0-9.0.4.
By the way, and this is just for information, OS 9.2.1 is installed on a CF card. I boot my older machines with Systems installed on CF Cards: they are inserted into the PowerBooks via a PCMCIA/CF Card adapter. They all work great, and this is in no way a cause of the problem.
So does anyone know how to downgrade OS 9.2.1 - OS 9.1 when one only has (1) Full OS 9.2.1 retail install CD (2) OS 9.1 Update Installer???
    Thanks.

Move the card onto a system where it is usable, and then run the patched version of the 9.2.2 update on it. The Mac OS 9.1 updater can't downgrade a 9.2 or newer system; that capability requires a Mac OS 9.0 or 9.1 CD.

  • How can I use multiple row insert or update into DB in JSP?

    Hi all,
    pls help for my question.
"How can I use multiple rows insert or update into DB in JSP?"
I mean I will insert or update the multiple records like grid component. All the data I enter will go into the DB.
    With thanks,

That isn't true. Different SQL databases have
different capabilities and use different syntax, That's true - every database has its own quirks and extensions. No disagreement there. But they all follow ANSI SQL for CRUD operations. Since the OP said they wanted to do INSERTs and UPDATEs in batches, I assumed that ANSI SQL was sufficient.
I'd argue that it's best to use ANSI SQL as much as possible, especially if you want your JDBC code to be portable between databases.
and there are also a lot of different ways of talking to
SQL databases that are possible in JSP, from using
plain old java.sql.* in scriptlets to using the
jstlsql taglib. I've done maintenance on both, and
they are as different as night and day.Right, because you don't maintain JSP and Java classes the same way. No news there. Both java.sql and JSTL sql taglib are both based on SQL and JDBC. Same difference, except that one uses tags and the other doesn't. Both are Java JDBC code in the end.
Well, sure. As long as you only want to update rows
with the same value in column 2. I had the impression
he wanted to update a whole table. If he only meant
update all rows with the same value in a given column
with the same value, that's trivial. All updates do
that. But as far as I know there's know way to update
more than one row where the values are different.I used this as an example to demonstrate that it's possible to UPDATE more than one row at a time. If I have 1,000 rows, and each one is a separate UPDATE statement that's unique from all the others, I guess I'd have to write 1,000 UPDATE statements. It's possible to have them all either succeed or fail as a single unit of work. I'm pointing out transaction, because they weren't coming up in the discussion.
Unless you're using MySQL, for instance. I only have
experience with MySQL and M$ SQL Server, so I don't
know what PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and all the
rest are capable of, but I know for sure that MySQL
can insert multiple rows while SQL Server can't (or at
least I've never seen the syntax for doing it if it
does).Right, but this syntax seems to be specific to MySQL The moment you use it, you're locked into MySQL. There are other ways to accomplish the same thing with ANSI SQL.
Don't assume that all SQL databases are the same.
They're not, and it can really screw you up badly if
you assume you can deploy a project you've developed
with one database in an environment where you have to
use a different one. Even different versions of the
same database can have huge differences. I recommend
you get a copy of the O'Reilly book, SQL in a
Nutshell. It covers the most common DBMSes and does a
good job of pointing out the differences.Yes, I understand that.
It's funny that you're telling me not to assume that all SQL databases are the same. You're the one who's proposing that the OP use a MySQL-specific extension.
I haven't looked at the MySQL docs to find out how the syntax you're suggesting works. What if one value set INSERT succeeds and the next one fails? Does MySQL roll back the successful INSERT? Is the unit of work under the JDBC driver's control with autoCommit?
The OP is free to follow your suggestion. I'm pointing out that there are transactions for units of work and ANSI SQL ways to accomplish the same thing.
