I have noticed when you open an APP then then close it it still stays open after you double click the home button why is this and does that also make it keep running and discharge the battery life so you have to recharge sooner also. and is there a fix for this as well. And also I have noticed that my speaker sounds is not as loud on some of m Apps as well can anyone tell me how to improve all of these matters.

Ok that was the only thing I was concern about that they was not adding to make my battery life less because them being open in the back ground. And do you have any idea how to fix the speaker on some apps where it is not as loud as others. Is that maybe to do with the difference in each app maybe.

If you are talking about the App Switcher, there's no way to disable the displayed screenshot. If you don't want to see the "scary image", browse to another website. I have Google set as one of my favorites...when I shut down Safari, I just hit the Google favorite so the next time I open Safari, it opens to Google. I've never heard of nor experienced random screenshots popping up when opening Safari.

Anyone knows what does the text that appears in the screen when you open applications, like the mail client for the first time?
The text is the following (among other text):
"Nokia identifies your phone number, IMEI and network in order to provide you with a rich experience"
What the h... means this?
In my first contact with the phone with "Nokia PC Suite" I found that it sends to Nokia servers the IMEI and other phone data (who knows what for). Does it menas that when you use the default mail cilent, it sends data to Nokia? What it does for? Because I wouldn't like at all that the application sends any data, anywhere, if I decide to use the application.
I don't know why there is no more information in any place, even support page, even the ... sad manual (that doesn't explain anything about a lot of options)...

I'm in Spain, but, as I said, it is a second hand device (actually I'm the third hand). Maybe the first owner bought somewhere in Europe, maybe to Amazon.de (very popular place to buy from Spain as it is cheaper than Amazon.es, or before even existed Amazon.es that arrived to Spain only a year back or so; or maybe it was in holidays around Europe; at least, I don't know the exact origin of the device).
Indeed one thing different is that the paper manuals comming in the box aren't in spanish, they are in german, french and italian (all surrounding Switzerland, indeed).
About the last phrase, I think I won't hassle myself in pay for a change of the product code and be able to update. That, by the way, the nearest Nokia Care is quite far from my place and if I choose doing by any kind of RMA, the ultra-expensive delivery costs in Spain, don't make me feel like doing either.

What do you do when you download an app and the app doesnt work right, then you call itunes and they cant do anything about it cause it's in a different language and you come to a dead end

I downloaded the ispytoys app for the tank, the tank works but not all the features and the tank will only travel 2 feet at a time then you have to move the button forward again, I call itunes but there's nothing they can do cause its in japanese or chinese, anyway, nor itunes or I can read it, so I'm at a dead end. What are my options, this ***** cause one of the features is you can email the videos and pictures out that you take with the tank but mine wont let me. I taled to the people I bought it from but there is nothing they can do cause its in the app and itunes cant do anything about it either, so , do I live with it? Sincerely one bummed out person. For the sake of updating, it doesn't matter too much - but you can find it on the iPad through Settings -> About - Version. If your current version is 4.x or older, you'll have to do it through iTunes... but even if you have a newer version, if you want to be extra sure that you'll keep your data then do it through iTunes (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623) and make sure to let iTunes fully back-up your iPad before you start the update.

Works fine for me, I can simulate your problem by improperly closing Firefox.
The correct way would be to close the windows you don't want and then to exit Firefox through the File ("'''Alt+F'''") menu then use '''Exit''' or '''Qui'''t depending on your system.
But '''I can simulate your problem''' by closing the good window with "X" in the upper right-corner first (the one with the app-tabs) and then close the other window by any means.
You restart Firefox and open a window, since you closed without app-tabs there are none so you just see a window with your home page.
Firefox has some things added to Firefox 4 and therefore in Firefox 5.

Since then I have noticed a strange ozone smell coming from the MacBook in the area where the hinges are to open and close the unit. I was told by Apple that it probably is not serious and is coming from the fans in the MacBook. It is true that the smell/odor is more intense when the fans are working. Apple said I should take the MacBook to an Apple Store to have the hardware checked out. Everything seems to be working correctly. I am backing up automatically wirelessly to a Time Capsule, which I had not done until recently, although I had purchased the Time Capsule in 2009. I have not noticed this odor before. Does anyone suspect something more serious that may be going on?

You may be smelling it because with the new OS the processor is having to work harder causing it to get hotter then it would with the other OS. I can't say there is nothing wrong, but what could be happening is just that, it's getting hotter so the fan is spinning faster and moving more air so you are getting more of the smell then you would before. I would still continue to back it up, and take it to the Apple Store at a Genius Bar and have them look at it to make sure. Was the computer ever in a smoky environment??

After updating to ios 8 I can't go to the photo! When you open is reset program.

1 When I installed version 8 opened "iPhoto" and agreed to import photos. Open the program "photo" and immediately threw herself on the main screen.
2 I tried to retry the import photos from iPhoto that does not work
3 I deleted iPhoto and tried to open the "photo". Anyway when opening program it resets on the home screen.
4 IPhoto sets back and tried to repeat the import procedure.
5 Did the phone HardRestet
Nothing pomoaet and when you open the program "photo" it is immediately reset, and I see the home screen.

I have not used iTunes for several weeks so the issue may not be related to the last Windows XP automatic upgrade. I have never had problems with iTunes in the past. Is this a real message or perhaps a virus?
