How do you get pass the Terms & Conditions page while downloading iOS7. Nothing happens when press AGREE
Reset iPad and continue with update
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

It sounds like you might be on a Windows computer and the Apple Mobile Device Service isn't running. Check this support document with help for that error. http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1567

DVD Stuck In Drive And Can't Get Passed The Gray Page.
The disk is stuck in my 3 and 1/2 month old new mac book pro mid 2010. And it is also stuck on the gray start up page. The wheel under the apple will spin for awhile and then I get a message to turn the power off and restart. I have tried several times but the same thing keeps happening. Have tried recommend ways to eject the disk. Does not help. Is there anything else I can do ?
If you have tried all the commonly recommended ways of extracting the disc, take the machine in for service under your warranty, and be sure to have it noted that there's a disc in the drive that you need back (so it won't get separated from the machine after it's removed).

I don't know who the previous owner is or how to contact them because I can't see their email address. I spent $200 and just want my phone to work. Is there any way apple can help?
Your phone is "activation locked". It cannot be used unless this lock is removed by the previous owner of the iPhone. If the seller can't help you then ask for a refund of your money.
Apple won't help you. Note that the iPhone you bought may well be stolen property.. -
I haven't used my IMac in a long time and went to boot it up, and I find I don't remember the correct username and password (I use several computers..I try to keep the passwords similar, with a number for the chronological order in which I started using them) I've tried all the others I use for passwords. The 'hint" keeps coming up for the password I am pretty sure is the correct one, but, still cannot get in. I also don't remember whether I changed my surname on the computer...it was changed legally a little while ago, but some of my older devices still have my birth-name in there)

I don't think I ever set up a "master password" on the thing...I never use those. I am the only person with access to my personal devices.

Boot to the Recovery HD:

When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow

Hi all.
I have just bought an ipad mini - and just went thru the start of the set up till the wi fi - it does not reconise my password!! which is correct.... i can't go any further and am very stuck.... help pleaseHi again.... i did restart the router - and still didn't like my password - my brother connected to the same network last week on his ipad 2??? Its my parents wi fi??? so can't look into it now - would it be easier for me to try via my PC itunes and do it that way ?? as i do not understand how to log into the rounter - sorry not a computer geek :-(

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I repurchased Garageband and I can't get passed the complete installation. I've read through several posts that all reference the "com.apple.garageband.plist" solution. I don't seem to have the referenced .plist. Any solutions or suggestions?

What exactly is happening? Is GarageBand trying to download over and over again?

The property list stores your preferences, but also the settings from the last run of the application. If that file is corrupted in some way, you might see third behaviour.
You must have this file, for it will be recreated automatically, if it is missing, or you have a permissions problem with your user library.
Perhaps you did look in he wrong place.
in MacOS 10.7. or later the User Library is hidden. To find the Preferences Files use the Finder's "Go" menu:
Quit GarageBand, if it is running.
Click onto you Desktop to bring the Finder forward.
In the Finder Menu press "Go" and hold down the "option/alt" key, until your user library appears in the drop-down menu
Select "Library" and in the Finder window that opens navigate to the "Prederences" folder; move com.apple.garageband.plist to the Desktop.
Log off and on again (don't skip that step!). Retry GarageBand and see if it GarageBand is now downloading the missing content properly.
If that does not fix the problem, post back and explain in more detail what the download problem is.
Why did you "repurchase" GarageBand? If you already owned GarageBand '11, it should be unnecessary.

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
I've forgotten my passcode and can't get into the phone to turn off "find my iphone" in order to restore it... Can anyone help?
If you know the password to your apple id login - you can then do a restoration once you have put your device into recovery mode using itunes.
read this article to give you direction how to put your device into recovery mode.
Once you have put in your apple id login and password this then will allow you to restore the device once the device is placed in recovery mode.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to purchase a third partyn program to get the rest ( not supported by Apple) -

I have all the documents, but can't locate my discs - need iphoto and can't get without the original.
If you buy used you have to be careful. I am not sure what software came with which system versions and which computers but the iLife application history is complex. If you end up looking for "original" discs such as those that came with your computer, make sure iPhoto was part of it, and make sure the discs you buy are really identical to the ones for your computer model. A lot of people sell gray colored discs as installer discs, but the versions are machine specific so getting any old Tiger installer may not work on your computer. Unfortunately the universal Tiger installer may not have iPhoto. Maybe somebody more familiar with the iPhoto history can provide specific advice.
An alternative is to look for a used iLife series that will work on your computer. Again, this will have to be used. Apple's staying ahead of the curve basically means those of us with old machines are left to fend for ourselves as best we can.
