I'm guessing you don't have a debit card with your new checking acct? If you do, use that in the credit card option. A debit card can be used as a credit card if it has the Visa, etc logo on it. Otherwise, you can use the Bill Me Later option, though by the looks of it, it will take considerably longer that way.

Worst ios 6 update for Ipad or iphone for Indian Users.

I am highly disappointed by the Apple IOS 6 update. We cannot use maps as the directions are not available for us. I am sure the sale of Iphone or Ipad will hit very badly in India if the maps are not updated to be used for Indian user. The maps are only user friendly for US, Europe or some Asian countries. I can gaurantee that the amount of Iphones bought in India is very huge and I am sure Apple would not like to loose it to Samsung.

Date format according to user region

Hi All,
I have an explorer where data is coming from hana cubes, what i want is :- if a user in usa opens the information space than date should be displayed as mm-dd-yy and for an Indian user it should be dd-mm-yy
I am using bo 4.1 sp3.

Hi Yash,
On the SAP HANA side you must have enabled translations into the different languages for the text. At the same time the date format should also change.
As a test change the locale of the HANA client and retrieve date results:

Then according to the Users BI launchpad locale settings, it should format in Indian locale.
Here a link which states that at least the numeric format can also be changed directly in Explorer (I haven't checked the date).

You cannot, it is something only Apple can do.
The phone merely listens to the commands, digitizes into some proprietary format and sends it to Apple's servers, who do the heavy lifting of interpreting what you want. So you can't hack the language into the phone.

Nokia is loosing Indian Market

Nokia is loosing Indian Market because of Dual-SIM phone unavailability.
Today more than 200,000,000 Indian users are using Dual-SIM Chinese mobile (from ShenZhen China)
these mobiles are not reliable for more than 2 year, but has lots of features not available in Nokia with less less than half the price of Nokia.
Nokia's mobiles were great earlier. Now its low & middle class mobiles are worst than Chinese Shenzhen phones.
Specially newly designed slim nokia 5310 express etc.., Nokia 1202,1203, 2600c,1661,1662 are worst nokia phones i have ever seen from such big company.
At the price of these cheap phones , we are getting Dual-SIM features, which is greatest feature in india.
Shame on Nokia!

Can PO communication language be controled through User parameter?

Dear,
I am importing material from internal vendor.While creating PO the system is giving Error "No short text maintained in language DE ".After analysis i got to know that it is due to miss match between vendor communication language and material master description language.Now we can not change vendor master communication language form DE to EN because the vendor general data is maintained by the Germans and as per the logic it should be in thier local language.The next thing is we do not want to extend material description in language DE as it may confuse Indian user.So kindly guide how to resolve this issue?
Is there any user parameter to control this language error?

what you describe is like you want go swimming without getting wet.
No, you cannot control the language from a user parameter.
you have to maintain the material descriptions in any language that is used as communication language in vendor master.
A communication language should always be a language that could be understood by both parties, you and your vendor.
a common used vendor should have EN as communication language.
There should be a design concept in your company for such cases, otherwise it is a gap and needs to be closed with a decision that one of the effected parties does not like.

In logon data the logon language is set for every user, u can find it in table USR01, but if need to know where the user is from: it's not easy, u can check the address data.

Application is not working with mouse

Dear All,
We have a strange issue in the our application (Oracle form) in the one of our client machine.
Some times the forms are not able to work with the mouse but is able to work with the keyboard. After one or two machine restart its again working. When the issue occur we can able to work in other applications using mouse.
Our Applications server is in Other country and client are accessing from India.
This occurs for some user and not for all.
Application server Version 10.1.2.0.2.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit
Java Plug-in version 1.6.0_31 .
Please any info will help us lot.

But since its occurring for some users (perticulary indian users) and some times. And also its occurring in production environment not in development environment.
Even the java control panel is not working with mouse.
For other country customers everything working fine.
So its difficult for me to apply the patch with these uncertainties.
Checking with fresh java installation and let you know the status.

How do i Update 5800 Software

i am using Nokia 5800 rm-356 and lives in India but i am not able to figure out how to update it's software to v60. currently i am suing v52 and surely like to upate it Firmware either by Nokia Suite or by FOTA.

Though a few Indian users ( like me..) already received the update on 01.11.2011..there are reports that many are yet to get it. You can NOT do anything...but will have to wait and keep on checking.

App update notification on top right corner: any way to disable?

Hi all!
Running Mountain Lion I get a notification at the top right of the screen every time an App update is available. There are two buttons Update and Details but no Dismiss, "Go Away", or Cancel. I've got dozens of Apps on my laptop and don't want to update every time I get a notification. I figured out that a two finger swipe on the notification sends it off the screen (thanks Apple really obvious that one!). The problem is that fifteen minutes later it's back again!
Is there any way of disabling App Store notifications without disabling all notifications? I can't see one.
