Default Apps like Facetime and Camera cannot be deleted. check other home screens and folders.
Also check Settings->General->Restrictions->Facetime and Camerai and make sure they are not turned off.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Apps and movies won't open under my old itunes msn id, but the newer iCloud id presents no problem. i've reset the phone a number of times. is there away to get all my previous purchases from my old account transfered to the newer iCloud account?

i now have three Apple Store accounts. The first was when I signed up for mobileMe ending in "me." The second ending in "msn" And now the third ending in,"icloud"
The first two seemed to be linked and i would get notifications to update even when i wasn't signed into that account. All the apps downloaded worked just fine on my Iphone4 whether they were downloaded using my iphone or whether they were downloaded from my macbook pro no matter which account they were downloaded from. Now since i started using icloud and after a number of restores my Apple id under "msn" downloads on the apps and my movies all purchased from itunes won't open up. All the other id's apps open up just fine. I've reinstalled itunes, deleted all the apps under the msn account and tried to redownload on both my iphone and my laptop but, no sucess.
I think the only way to get the apps that i've paid for previously is the see if itunes could move my previous purchases from one account, "msn", to my "icloud" account. has anyone else had a problem like this and how can I makethis happen?

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email addresses from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
Is the old account a completely different iTunes account, or is it just a previous primary email address on the same account ? If it's a different account then all content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, so only that old account will be able to download updates to its apps.
If it's the same account, just a previous primary email address, then what id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone ? You could try tapping on that and log out of it and then log back in with the updated version and see what id then shows for updates.

Is there a way to make the bluetooth source I pick for Siri persistent?

I have my iPhone paired with the factory Bluetooth hands-free audio in a car. I like using it for phone calls, but not for Siri.
When I start Siri, I can choose my audio source, but the iPhone forgets the selection after that session, and defaults back to trying to use the car's speaker and mic the next time I use Siri.
Is there a way to make this audio source selection persistent?

Is there away to get your money back?

I've had a few attempts using these discussion pages to overcome my understanding of this machine and it soft ware but I've had to give up.
I purchased the machine from PC world and they where very good and even offer a full refund after two weeks if your not satisfied, unfortunately two weeks isn't enough time to get to know the mac machine and I have now owned it for 2 months, but have become so frustrated by it's inability to do any media product well if some of them at all, that it has to go, the pre installed software shouldn't be this limiting on a £1200 computer. Does any body know of a company accepting an Imac back after this time. I can genuinely say that this machine isn,t fit for purpose and I have been miss sold, but had thought others may have experienced the same. (although wisely they probably don,t need this forum any more).
So much for the saying "once you've tried mac you never go back"
I know you all think I'm a Philistine, but I can't delude my self any more that this is a good computer, I really do need help to find out how to correct my £1200 error in purchasing this machine.

You will notice some frustration here with people trying to help you and perhaps the cause of that is similar to why you are struggling with your computer. In order for people to help you with your issues you need to do logical things. Perhaps it is best for you to make a coffee and relax. All computers can be frustrating things when you are grappling with a problem that you cannot seem to solve, however help can be found when issues are approached with a level head.
Your post is very emotional and asking a question that is plainly absurd. There is no product that I am aware of where the manufacturer has to take it back once it has gone out the door unless there is a materials defect or fraud has been committed and you give no evidence that either is the case. You can sell the machine on eBay and fortunately for you Mac's tend to hold good resale value if you choose to do that. These forums are a great place to work through problems but if you just want to have a rant then you will find yourself ignored here.
If you do decide to continue with trying to solve the problems you have encountered then I would recommend a book like the iMovie 09 and iDVD: The Missing Manual:

Whenever I use new software either on the Mac or the PC I find I spend a lot of time reading at first and asking lots of what are probably annoying questions here but eventually I get it. My observation from using both sides of the fence is that both Mac and PC give me problems but generally the Mac problems are easier to solve but in all cases the calmer I am the easier it is to solve any given problem.
Always remember it is never wise to ask a thousand questions at once. Focus on one issue at a time. This enables people to understand what your problem is. You do not seem to realize that in two posts you didn't actually tell any one what precise difficulty you are having but we all understood that you are angry and that is about all.
Ian Parkinson tried to start a dialog about your issues but your reply was just another rant which doesn't help anyone and certainly doesn't work to solve your issues. There was little coherent that I could get from it except that you appear to have an audio/video mismatch but I am not sure of any details such as how you are playing it, where it is stored. For example is the movie in iTunes and you are trying to play it by double clicking and it opens in a Quicktime player, or is it in iMovie that you have the problem or is it something else? What format is it in. If you used a converter, which one, and what was the original format and so on. No one can help you unless you provide precise information and as it is you might struggle to get help after your bad mannered rant.
So I would recommend making that coffee, then starting a new post that calmly and coolly sets out the necessary details with all relevant data - program used, what happened, steps you took, and so on. Your Mac can give you years of reliable service and iMovie can give amazingly professional looking results and is relatively simple to use. I recently noticed an iMovie effect in a television documentary so I know some people are using for situations it was not intended and obviously getting satisfactory results.
This forum is generally an excellent place for help but it is only one of several places to learn how to deal with things. I hope you get it sorted soon and you are back to happy movie making.

Did you try the one working module in both ram slots? If it worked in both slots then the other module is faulty. If the known good module didn't work in both slots then try the other module in both slots. By a process of trial and error you'll be able to determine if you've just got a bad module or a failed ram slot.

I've looked through the Siri help stuff, and there' slots of things that tell me to put my info/contact into Siri at Settings / Siri / My Info. Great, but when I select that, I get an "All icloud" contact list. Since I have mself, wife, colleagues already in my contacts (MS Exchange) already -- how do I simply "copy" them into the icloud contact group???? I certainly don't want ot have to re-enter them twice. Also, I'm on a PC, is there no web interface from my PC to my icloud account? Any help greatly appreciated -- I'm obviously on the new 4S ...

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you deleted your contacts from your contacts app, they will also be deleted in iCloud.
However if you deleted your account or simply turned contacts syncing off, you should be able to log back into your account or re-enable contacts syncing and they would repopulate your contacts app.
Could you perhaps tell us which of these you have done.

How do I get the bold, underline, italics editing option for Notes on iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.4? Option is not appearing when I select text.

When I select text, I don't get an arrow with additional options. What is shown in the image are the only options I get. Is there something I need to do in Settings or something in order to be able to bold, underline and italicize text?

I only have an iPod (but it does have the latest software) but I achieved bold text as follows:
1) touch and hold word to embolden;
2) touch Select;
3) touch the arrow head at the right;
4) touch BIU option section of the option bar;
5) touch the Bold section of the option bar.
Having selected the text, the selection can be narrowed or widened using the blue dot. Also, the Bold, Italics and Underline option bar does not disappear once a section has been made, thus bold and underline can be chosen - touch elsewhere on the screen to remove the option bar. When the selected option bar section background turns grey the software has accepted your request. Note that a first go at achieving this might not work if the software has not correctly picked up your touch and may not present you with the correct options - it is intuitively trying to help you and sometimes misunderstands your touch.
