Hi,
I'm writting from a new Apple ID.
Yesterday i set my old iphone 4 for my mother. I own an iphone 5s.
I wanted to update my apps on my iphone and it doesn't want to recognise my password. I'm sure of the password, because I've been using it for ages, and also every few days I use it to update the apps. I tried to reset it, but it doesn't send me the email for resetting.
I created a new apple id with the same email, so I really don't know what to do anymore. I have applications that I payed for so I don't want them to be lost because of it.
And my 5s and ipad are registred to the old apple ID.
I am not able to call the support because I'm from Slovenia and it costs me to much to call.

Help Setting Up A Cisco Lab For IOS Upgrade?

Hi.
I've collected quite a few routers and switches over the past few months that have what seems to be corrupted or no IOS. I have a small lab set up to test parts, and I was wondering how I can network them in such a way where I have an active functional network (for testing purposes, not for actual internet use), that I can connect routers or switches to and upgrade or change the IOS version.
I have all the hardware and cabling needed, and I have the Cisco IOS software for the routers I need, I've just never upgraded or changed an IOS on a router or switch before.
I have:
a Cisco 7505 with an RSP4+, 256MB RAM, 16MB Flash, and it's full of the modules that hold the PA cards (I forget what it's called, but I just use it to throw PA cards in to test 8 at a time).
A Cisco 3450 (I believe, 3400 series anyhow) that I believe is 64/16, that again I use for testing.
Two Cisco 2621 64/16, for testing WIC's, VWIC's and NM's.
Two Cisco 2950 series switches, one I'd like to use to actually connect to my LAN already implimented seperatly, and one to connect to this mini lab LAN.
So again, I'm wondering how I can set these up on a small LAN just for testing purposes and so I can just connect a device and upgrade it's IOS. I also need information about the TFTP server and all of that as I haven't been able to find out much info on it.

First of all make sure that the flash is enough for IOS you are loading.Here is guide for loading IOS.
(1)Download and install tftp server from www.solarwinds.net
(2)Give IP on ethernet port of router
(3)Give IP on computer which should be in same subnet that of router
(4)Follow the following steps:

You do not have the legal right to use the last owners content, nor is it legal for you to hack her account by getting her password.
You need to erase the ipod and pout your content on it.

I need help re setting up my iphone.

I've just purchased an iphone 4 in Dubai, unlocked, and without a SIM card. I now need to set it up in New Zealand, where I live, with a SIM card and a phone network. What ways are there to do this? And can the stored information in my current mobile phone SIM be transferred onto the appropriate microSIM that's needed for my new apple phone?

Sorry - should have been a bit more specific. Where do I purchase a SIM card from? All my searching has thrown up companies that will sell me a SIM card if I buy the phone too, but can't find where I just get a SIM card from. I had assumed someone like Vodaphone would just sell the SIM by itself.

im new to world ov iphones/ipods, iv never had anything to do with itunes or apple up until 2days ago, i got my new iphone 4 acouple of days ago, i went to set up my phone using my laptop until i discovered my lapto had broken n was unable to use it,
i took my i phone to my GF's house to try and set up my i phone thru her laptop, which already had itunes on it( but a much older versio than the 1 i neeeded) iv never had an itune account befor (jst to let u kno)
so i updated her itunes to version 9, which to seemed to do the trick, i got the basic apps on my phone when it had sync'd, but i didnt relise that this was all done undr the GF's old account details (which i never had the slightest clue about) so when ever i go on to app store and try t get some games/apps it ask for her password to her account, problem is she doesnt kno it and i do not want MY new iphone to b under her details which will renderr it useless, pls tell me i can fix this problem and how!!!!

Note that to remove the restriction passcode, you must restore the iPhone to factory settings. You cannot restore from a backup or you'll just put the passcode right back on the iPhone.

I needing to change my carrier APN on my factory unlocked iPhone using ios 8.1, my carrier uses two apn and I used to switch them manually whenever I wanted , last week I updated my iphone to ios 8.1 and anfter that I'm not finding the option in Setting-Cellular. Need Advice on Setting up a iPod Touch for a Child

My 5 year old daughter was fortunate enough to win a iPod Touch 4 in a school raffle. I have currently setup the device and tied it to my Apple ID so I can easily load the apps I have previously purchased (for her to play with on my devices) and so I can control her settings, access, etc.. The problem arises when I try to message or connect via Facetime to her device. Essentially I am trying to connect to myself and sometimes my iPhone connects back to itself, to my iPad, or her device. I would love to connect to her directly and could establish an Apple ID for her and that device but then I lose access to the Apps that I specifically purchased for her for use on other devices. Does anyone have suggestions on setting up devices in the same household so that they all have access to the same purchased content but still have unique IDs for wifi messaging and Facetime?
Also any advice on controlling content, tracking, and access related to a young child using this device. I have enabled all the content filters and set them to the appropriate levels but any additional tips would be welcome.

you can use two Apple-IDs :
one apple-ID for the kid, so for Facetime,Mail etc.
To keep your purchased Apps,Music,iBooks available on the new iPod simply enter in the appstore.app and itunes.app, ibooks .app the apple-id you have used to purchase stuff.
Same goes for the icloud feature : the ID used for that can be a different then for the purchases.

I need advise about setting up a server plan for a community.

I have the following situation:
The website has a community with, expected in the fist stage, 100,000 registered members. This community will be first launched in the Netherlands and later worldwide. A member has 25 MB of disk space to store photos or something. You can compare the community with for example hyves (a dutch community site similar to MySpace)
Besides the community the site will also have a web shop and some information pages about the products that will be sold in the shop. The web shop will not have a large amount of product in store, however the expectation is that it will attract a large amount of customers.
My question is; what do I need to keep this running smooth (quick page loads) and secure (data loss, back-up servers), and make it easy to expand the server park.

The XServe RAID is not a 'server for storage'. It's just an array. In order to provide storage it needs to be connected, via Fiber Channel to a host computer. This is fine if you have one web server, but becomes tricky when you have multiple. unless you're doing some very fancy load balancing, you're likely to want all the content accessible to all web servers at the same time. To do that you typically implement a fiber channel SAN (every host connects to the XServe RAID via a fiber channel connection), or you implement a NAS host where one server is attached to the XServe RAID and it shares the content to other hosts via AFP, NFS or similar.
This is fine for small installations but my point is that if you grow to hundreds of terabytes of storage, the XServe RAID might not be the best bet. It works well enough at tens of terabytes but there are other considerations when you get very large.
For example, if you have one XServe host acting as an AFP or NFS 'head', what happens to your site when that server crashes? or needs a Software Update? Your network is going to go down. For high availability networks you might consider a dedicated NAS or SAN infrastructure that has higher redundancy, built-in failover and is designed for very large storage arrays. If you expect to grow there you might be better off starting off with that, rather than starting with an XServe RAID and migrating the data later on.
Other than that, the rest of it is good for a start, but you need to consider redundancy (what do you do if a server crashes?) and scale (what do you do when you get more traffic than your web server can handle?).
Typically these problems are solved via load balancers - appliances that sit in front of the application server and dynamically routes connections to whaever machine is best able to respond to the request. These boxes (at least the good ones) don't come cheap, but they're essential if you expect your site to grow past a single server setup.
