With v3 I regularly had 5 tabs open all the time and could save these on exit so that they opened automatically the next time without me having to click individually on each one via bookmarks. V4 does not appear to allow this as a default and I cant find an option to allow it to happen. Please advise

Try resetting the PRAM (if you are able to do so).

Yes but there's no point doing it here. As the Terms of Use make quite clear this is a User to User forum. It's Users like you talking to other Users. It's not a channel to communicate with Apple.

Please can anybody help me? For no apparent reason or significant changes to my laptop I cannot open itunes from my desktop icon.I have uninstalled the whole product and re-installed it. Uninstall and reinstall from scratch.
Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch -
Can someone please just help me figure out how to update this stupid phone(iPhone 4)without losing anything? Thanks much!When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

please please can some one tell me how do you charge ur ipad with ur laptop. it doesn't chage wen I put use the wire. only charges when I plug the socket in. Iv never used an ipad b4 so don't really know much. Hope some one knowz.

Press and hold any of the apps on your iPad's homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the top left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'.
Note that deleting an app will delete all of its content as well -

Go to Settings/General/Reset - Erase all content and settings. the connecto to iTunes and restore as a New phone. Do not restore any backup. If the problem persists you have a hardware problem. Take it to Apple for exchange.
This assumes that the phone is not hacked or jailbroken. If it is you will have to go elsewhere on the internet for help. -
