The new software update - iOS 7.0.2 is killing the battery in my iPad. I have searched online and taken the recommended measures to decrease battery use, but within hours my iPad is completely dead. It would take days to kill the battery before this update. I am very frustrated. Can I undo this update???

This typically happens when some apps on the phone were interrupted by the upgrade. When it comes back up the app tries to resume and can not. You have to find and kill that app(s).
Do you have an Exchange account?
That is usually the culprit. Go into Settings and turn off all of the toggles for the Exchange account. Then reset the phone (hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears). When the phone powers back on, turn the toggles back on.
Do the same for all mail accounts if you don't have Exchange or that doesn't resolve the issue.
If it is not Exchange/Mail then it could be another app(s).
With iOS 7 you can control what apps run in the background. Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh. This will list all of the apps that can run in background. Turn them all off and restart. If this fixes the problem turn on a few at a time until you find the one causing the trouble.

If you're running iTunes 11 and you don't see the menus, press Control-B or go to the small icon with the arrow at the extreme upper left and select "Show Menu Bar":
Apple for some inexplicable reason elected to hide the menus by default in the Windows version of iTunes 11.
I doubt that this will address a download problem, though. You'll need to provide more details about that; what device you're attempting the download on, the exact error message, and other such pertinent information.

It just reboots the device and bolds the system fonts. No harm done. If you don't like it, undo the setting, it will reboot and back to as it was.

Start with your finger at the bottom of the screen (about even with the home button) and swipe in an upward motion. There should be a row of icons at the top of a grey field. if the quarter-moon icon is bright white, tap it. If it was (and still is) dark, take the iPhone in to be evaluated by a qualified technician.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

Lost ringtones with the new iOS 5 update.

I did the new iOS 5 update on my iPhone 4 yesterday; however, my iTunes account was wiped clean on my phone but not my computer. I had to re-authorize the only computer I have ever used to sync my phone. And to top it all off my ringtones will not sync to my phone no matter how many times I check or un-check them. When I went to purchase a new ringtone on my phone the account information was all blank. I had to re-fill out my information.That is what I mean by it being wiped out. However, when I went to log on to my computer the account was fine. I tried syncing and nothing carried over.
Yes, all of my ringtones have been purchased via iTunes. Yes, I used the same Apple ID I have used for the past 6 years.
Authorizing my computer worked just fine because it was 2 out of 5 that I have authorized for this phone even though its the same computer. Just thought it was weird.
I tried wi-fi syncing my phone tonight to get the ringtones but nothing seems to be working. The ringtones show up in my iTunes account on my computer but will not synce to my phone. I have purchased 2 new ringtones on my phone since the update and those will sync back and forth between the computer and the phone but the other remain in lockdown in iTunes.

That's because her phone is recognized in the Apple database as an iPhone. It should eventually convert to SMS but that's above my level of expertise here so hopefully someone else can come along and help you further. She could just turn on iMessage and solve the problem. Ha!

My iPhone 4 has the same problem. Other people I know have similar issues. Other threads in the forum have commented that there could be a problem with the screen proximity sensor that is triggered by your ear being near or touching the on-screen mute or speaker button. They claim that an external case or a screen protector could cause the proximity sensor to malfunction, or possibly the screen needs to be cleaned. I tried putting a non-conductive thin cover over the phone, and it did not help. In my opinion, the phone works as designed. Other than switching to another brand phone or Apple fixing it with a functional iOS update versus a pretty iOS update, I've only found one solution, which is to use a headphone/microphone or a hands-free device. Of course, using a headphone/microphone is often inconvenient.

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to download, install, and reactive their devices it right now. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

Can Apple make a new feature for Wifi networks that has a button for disconnect from this network in new iOS 7 update? Because it irratering me when you want to disconnect from iPhone to iPad shared wifi network, you have to delete the network or it will be stuck for forever until you turn it off on iPhone. So long i know iPad is affected to this, but it can happen to iPhone too.
And one more thing, I want to have a device list that you can kick them out on only shared wifi network like iPhone to iPad.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, can't you just turn on Airplane mode? Or maybe just turn off Wi-Fi on the device if you need cell access to remain enabled?
