HT1222 Why am I not able to download this update. The submit button is shaded out?
My iPad states that there is a system update in SETTINGS >GENERAL and that its for iOS, but the submit button is shaded out so I can't perform the update!! Does anyone know why??

This is generally a setting. Turn it off by following these steps:
Open Google Play > Choose Menu > Settings > Tap "Update over Wi-Fi only" and turn that off!

You can create an Apple ID without a credit card by following this guide exactly: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Note that you have to start by downloading a free app, then create the ID.

Do you mean the download urls for the Java TV binary and source stuff?

If so, when you try downloading, and you get the "You have no access..." screen, just refresh the browser, and you will get to the page for downloading the source and docs.
By the way, I think Java TV is more or less dead.
I doubt the site has been maintained for some years, and the SUN -> Oracle move did not improve link consistency :)

I see that your Acrobat Standard subscription order is still pending. But you should be able to download your software. What happens when you log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat? If you can't get it from that page, you can download it directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X - Adobe.
Once your subscription order processes, you'll be able to log in and use Acrobat.

When I try to download apps, I am asked to answer security questions. However, when I cklick "continue", I am required to type in my Apple ID password but nothing else happens. Bottomline, I am not able to download apps at the time which is annoying.
Try downloading something from the iTunes Store on the iPad and see if that solve the password problem.

Have you called your credit card issuer? They may be able to provide a reason for the declined purchased.
Also, you can only register for and use the App Store in the country your credit card is issued. Be sure you are buying apps from the correct App Store. -

Not able to download 'single of the week'---- why?
I live in Canada. Why is it that i can't dwnload the single of the week, in this case, Alex Cuba, .... which is supposed to be a single song given for free each week....?From what I can remember in the past, ....i tried downloading the single of the week before but it says i can't.Why is this?....
